I moved Emerald off of my lap and went to the kitchen and took a tin out of the cupboard, it was full of weed joints which is known as Sour Diesel and also Northern Lights,I handed the tin to Emerald she looked hesitant at me I said "look it's fine it won't kill you,it'll loosen you up a bit. Trust me You'll be on another planet most likely." She took the tin and opened it up and saw the joints they were all wrapped in white paper She took the lighter from the tin and lit the joint and said "I've had it before in my younger days. It does help with everything I'm feeling." I cuddled her and took a joint from the tin ,Emerald passed me the lighter and lit it for me, I puffed some smoke up into the air. And we both relaxed and fell asleep letting the weed overtake our minds. She sighed and said sleepily "you're right. I am on another planet." I smiled and kissed the side of her head. Amazing how one simple thing can alter your state of mind and how you experience things too. I plan on is living life to the fullest as my brother would want it that way. Along with keeping Emerald safe.

Hours later it was pitch black outside, I carefully got up from behind a deeply sleeping Emerald, and headed to the back porch of the cabin, I opened the door and stepped outside and looked up and the sky was alight with stars, nature is truly amazing. Then I heard a growl, I looked to my left and saw some glowing eyes, it was a wolf, I snarled and said gruffly "what do you want? I'm keeping the witch safe as you intend her to be." The wolf stepped out of the shadows it was a light grey slim wolf, he said "we're just making sure our needs and terms are met. I'm not going to kill or try to fight you, I know you're stronger than your brother was. And I didn't bite him before you ask. But I know who did." I moved towards him in a rage and said "Tell me. Who fucking bit my brother?!" The wolf just laughed in my face, and said "I wouldn't get involved with wolf business if I were you Cole, yes your brother told me about you. The temper, the insanity you hold dormant until it breaks through with no remorse. Anyway I must go, they'll be wondering my whereabouts no doubt." I stepped back and sighed and said "Could someone else find out who bit my brother?" The wolf looked at me with concern and said "possibly, if they were small enough not be seen or found out afterwards, if you know of anyone tell them the direction of the pack which is straight ahead, near the shop. And to look for me, my name is Silver.Anyway must go. I'll return soon. I pose no threat to you Cole. Make sure your witch knows that. I know how powerful she is and I wouldn't want to on the receiving end of it. Bye." I said chuckling "Bye Silver. Cool name. At least he's not a threat to us." I sat down on the edge of the porch lost in thought.
