She spoke the two syllables through gritted teeth. After ending the call, she tossed her phone onto the couch. She made a mental note to turn her phone off when she was at home. She didn’t want certain people to ruin her mood abruptly.
She slept until morning.
Samantha appeared at the design department wearing exquisite makeup. Everyone immediately turned their attention to her.
Kendrick had personally attended Samantha’s welcome banquet last night. This had never happened before in the history of Ford Corporation. Everyone could see how highly Kendrick valued her.

The elite teams were assigned to her. This had indeed helped Samantha’s work significantly.
The phone on the desk suddenly rang. It was connected to the internal line. Samantha was momentarily stunned. She subconsciously straightened herself.
“Hello-”
“I want to see the design concept of the SL Series by tonight, along with the initial design drafts.”
The call ended abruptly.
She heard the familiar voice coming from the other end of the line before she could say anything. After delivering his request coldly, he hung up right away.
He didn’t even wait for Samantha to respond.
Hearing the beeping dial tone over the phone, Samantha was livid. She wanted to slam the phone.
She questioned if he was deliberately making things harder for her. He was already asking for design concepts and initial drafts on her very first day of work.
Samantha took a deep breath. Her path to revenge was only beginning. She must never back down.
In the president’s office, Kendrick had just hung up when the phone rang again.
He was slightly stunned. No one usually dared to call him. Even if they had something urgent, they would contact the secretariat outside.
Then, Jude would refer to him for further instructions.
“Hello.”
