“Put your hand here. Hold on firmly, and then just hit the ball.”

Samantha cast aside Kendrick’s hand impatiently. She held the golf club as she focused on measuring the distance that she would have to hit. 

Chandler could distinctly sense that there was something strange about Samantha’s identity. He thought that perhaps this secretary was Kendrick’s type. 

Chandler was mid–thought when Kendrick looked over. His gentle smile startled Chandler. He immediately gestured for the women to get off the golf course. 

He decided to target Samantha. 

Samantha dropped the golf club after she sent the golf ball flying. 

Kendrick snorted with laughter, but Samantha only felt her face heating up. 

“I just used too much strength.” 

Samantha touched her face, then walked over to retrieve the golf club that she had 

flung out. 

“Let me.” 

Kendrick took Samantha’s golf club. 

Samantha withdrew. 

Playing golf early in the morning as a form of workout had put everyone in a good. mood. They decided to have lunch on the grass. 

Samantha was bored as she listened to Chandler explain the culture of those who lived nearby. However, Kendrick was intrigued by one of the topics.

Chandler. 

Samantha was thinking of ways to continue the conversation when a shrill voice. 

drifted over from behind her. 

“Ms. Meadows!” 

Upon hearing the unfamiliar voices, a reporter holding a microphone, as well as 

several others carrying cameras subsequently followed. 

Samantha stood up instinctively. Kendrick’s expression grew stern. He grabbed 

Samantha’s hand and looked coldly at Chandler.

Samantha put the phone on speaker and tossed it over to Kendrick.

Kendrick looked to see who the caller was.

If they held it earlier, it would mean that they would get a head start. 

Samantha smiled inwardly. It was a good thing that Kendrick had made so many

Kendrick hung up at once. For the first time, his gaze fell on Samantha. 

“We may need some twists for the exhibition this time.” 

Samantha was surprised. There wasn’t much time left for the SL series.. 

There wasn’t time to prepare any eye–openers. 

“I can’t promise that I’ll complete the mission.” 

Samantha’s eyes were filled with excitement.
