Chapter 56
The mere human weak girl as she was called, had won everyone’s heart. The girl whose entry was anticipated by everyone of us, was dead. Daniel had her in his arms. And that’s when it happens. After 24 years of life spent together for the first time in my life, after that day, I see a tear drop falling from his eyes. Eventhough his face was blank, his eyes were depicting his story of pain. One drop was soon followed by others.
“No!” Everyone’s attention turns towards the voice. We see Crystal held back by Christopher in his arms. She was sobbing loudly and trying to leave from his hold. The other’s of her group were too shocked to even move. Alice tries to go near her but is stopped Daniel’s loud growl. “There’s still a chance.” She once again tries to go near her and Daniel doesn’t stop her this time. Jennifer’s colour had turned pale by now.
Checking some of her nerves and after making somethings sure she says, “There’s still a chance for her to leave as she still has your blood in her, she has a chance to live.” Everyone was shocked to here about the words coming out of Alice’s mouth. The main question was that how in hell did Jennifer had Daniel’s blood running in her body.
Raising with her in his arms, Daniel signs Alice to follow him. Everyone of us follow him. Surprisingly he takes her in his own room, which noone was ever allowed to enter, not even us. For the first time we had seen his room from inside, which only contained of black colour everywhere. But our attention was soon taken by the girl laying on Daniel’s bed.
On Alice’s advice Daniel makes a cut in his hand and feeds Jennifer with his blood. We wait for a whole while. Nothing changes. She was just as dead as before. We had given our hopes up when Jay shouts out, “Her skin colour is changing.”
There’s still a hope, right?
