“Want some chocolate?” Turning around I was met with a warrior whom I recognized to be the one, whose mate I had saved on the day of the attack.

“Sure.” He gave me the precious possession. Out of nervousness I gulped the whole chocolate and started chocking on it and instead of helping my dying on chocking self the warrior opted on laughing his ass of. “How’s the baby by the way?”

“She’s perfectly fine.”

“Oh congratulations on being the proud father of a fighter daughter.” Obviously the child was born healthy even after being so badly beaten by the monster even though she was in her mother’s womb.

“Thank you. And I will make sure that she chooses the team strawberry.” The second the sentence was out of his mouth, we both had started quarreling without knowing that the door’s had already opened, my royal entry was gone to hell and now the whole court was watching us quarrelling.

“Strawberry is full of seeds, how can you even eat such awful species?”

“Hey!!” A very familiar voice of Charles shouted who was dragged back to his seat by the glaring eyes of Justine and Crystal whose glares were ready to kill me. In this bickering’s noone noticed the Beta King himself standing from his seat, walking to the direction where I was so bravely fighting and dragging me to the centre of the whole room where the table for the ceremony was set. Before I could back and ask for the justice for team Chocolate, the announcer starts talking “Today we all have gathered here to witness the ceremony of accepting Ms. Meredith in our pack.” Catherine’s mom was watching me venomous eyes. She leans towards her daughter and says, “Remove her from the pack the second you become the queen.” Hearing their secretive plans which could be heard by the whole room, including the humans, somehow made me more nervous.

Suddenly I felt a presence beside me. Turning to my right I saw Crystal standing there. “What?” I still kept looking at her with the shocked expression, even after she asked the question. “You looked nervous so I thought why not gift you with some of my bravery.” Somehow that made me smile.

The announcer continued, “Can I ask his highness’s presence to start the ceremony.” The King rises from his throne and descends the stairs. Soon he was standing infront of me. His eyes suddenly moved towards my neck which was hidden by my hair and a frown appeared on his face.

I was afraid because of the bite mark which still didn’t disappear. He must have noticed it as well and was now angry.What if he thinks I am an attention seeker.Next I knew he was leaning over the table and slide the hair from my neck to the behind. Now the mark was visible to everyone.

Gasps were heard throughout the room. And then I felt it, very strongly indeed.........

Crystal smacking me on my head. So strongly that I would have almost lost my balance and fallen if I wouldn’t have been caught by him. A very deadly glare was sent by me to her “And why can I know did you do that?”

“You idiot are already marked.”
