“You are already marked by his highness and have completed the mating process.” Somehow it made me turn to a beet root. “Which means you are our Luna Queen.” Before I could utter a word I was cut off by the cutting off Queen herself.

“How is it possible? This is partiality! I was the winner of the feuding! How could she become the Luna Queen!”

I was more shocked when the King himself answered her very calmly, “Ms. Stone if you may have forgotten I must remind you that it was clearly said that the decision of choosing the Queen would be made by the King himself. The feuding was just a social practice to check your skills and for the people to see that the chosen lady is deserving enough. I wanted my Luna to not be my Queen but the people’s Queen. Ms. Meredith here have proved herself to be the deserving one and also she is loved by her people as well and hence she is declared to be my Luna as well.”

The last sentence was said by him looking towards me. My thoughts were crushed down by Crystal whispering in my ear, “Hey don’t you think Christopher looks more hot today?” My eyes moved towards the said person.

“He does look cute.” This got us an amused look from Christopher and loud growl from Daniel. Yes I had already started practicing calling him informally.

Our quarrelling was brought to an end by Daniel clearing his throat as it was time for the ceremony to be performed. We placed our hands on the table. The ceremony had almost started when a loud growl took our attention off the ceremony.
