Chapter 23 

The man did not take advantage of Elizabeth but was coldly splashed with a glass of wine, which made him angry immediately. 

He went forward and grabbed Elizabeth’s neck and tried to move his hands freely on Elizabeth’s body to touch her. 

Unexpectedly, Elizabeth lifted one of her feet that had a high heel and stepped it hard on the man’s instep. And then she clamped the man’s misbehaving hands with her backhand and pressed him hard against the cold, hard wall. 

“I just warned you to stay out of my way just now. Not only did you not listen, but you also disgusted me. I think you are seeking death!” 

How dared a gangster out of nowhere molest her? Did he think she learned nothing in the years she lived abroad? 

The man felt disgraced and became angry after being humiliated by a woman who was much shorter than him. 

“You damn bitch. Hurry up and let go of me, or I’ll teach you a good lesson. William, what are you waiting for? Hurry up and help me! Arrest this bitch. Let me teach her a good lesson!” 

After the man said this, several men who were initially gathered around Elizabeth immediately pounced on her. 

Elizabeth’s face sank. A cold and bloodthirsty light flashed in the bottom of her eyes. At the same time as those men rushed up, she immediately stretched out her hind leg to make a fierce kick toward the first man running toward her. 

The man fell backward after he was kicked hard, and his falling body hit several men behind him. They all fell to the ground. 

“How dare you molest me? You’re just a group of stupid and useless men. You don’t even know who you are!” 

After Elizabeth said those words, she pushed the man who was pressed against the wall toward his stupid useless brothers. 

“If you guys are not convinced, come to me. I’m not in a good mood right now. But I don’t mind playing with you guys!” 

When she said the word “play,” Elizabeth could not help but raise her voice. The cold expression on her face, coupled with her twisting wrist, made the people around immediately feel a bloodthirsty atmosphere. 

After seeing her power, those few gangsters looked at each other with some fear. Then they winked at each other and fled the bar in disarray. 

Katherine, who had been sitting at a nearby table watching the scene, could not help but feel furious when she saw Elizabeth had not only failed to be molested by the gangsters but was able to steal the show. 

She did not expect that Elizabeth had become so powerful after a few years abroad and was no longer the silly woman she 

used to be. 

Elizabeth took out the wet wipes from her bag to wipe her hands with a disgusted look on her face. Then, when she was about to leave, she happened to skim a familiar figure out of the comer of her eye. 

She laughed coldly and turned her gaze to Katherine without fear, and they both looked directly at each other. 

She was wondering why those dangerous gangsters were in such a high–class bar. Now, after seeing Katherine, she finally knew the reason. It turned out that her so–called stepsister was the culprit! 

Katherine was still stupid as ever. She only knew to use such unimpressive and uninspired ways to deal with her. 

“Katherine, I’m warning you, give me a break, or you’ll only end up worse than those gangsters just now!” 

“You… you…”

The woman in the tight black halter dress sneered. “The lady of the Clarke family is having fun with a few men in a public place. You don’t feel ashamed, and yet you still put the blame on your sister. The people who don’t know you will think you’re some disgusting bitch!” 

Seeing that Katherine had not only failed to teach Elizabeth a good lesson but had also gotten angry and frustrated, the woman in the tight black halter dress beside her hastened to speak for Katherine, trying to help her fight back. 

“I was trying to defend myself. So why should I be ashamed? Do you think I should wait with my legs open like you guys when a man comes to hook up?” 

Chapter 23 

As Elizabeth spoke, she raised her good–looking eyebrows with a condescending look at the women sitting around the table. Not only did she ignore the humiliating words from the woman in the tight black halter dress, but she also retorted light–heartedly! 

“You didn’t get much discipline as a child, did you? You really have a filthy mouth. There is no decent language in your 

mouth!” 

The woman in the tight black halter dress blushed angrily and looked at Elizabeth viciously. She secretly thought, “No wonder Kathy couldn’t deal with her. With such a filthy mouth and an annoying tongue, she should have had all her teeth pulled out and been slapped hard!” 

“It’s none of your business whether I got much discipline as a child or not. I still have things to do, so I won’t keep playing such a boring game with you guys. 

After Elizabeth finished speaking, she threw the wet wipes in her hand into the trash can opposite her with precision, then turned around to leave. 

“However, only a peculiar woman like Mrs. Hayes is worthy of that sickly man of the Hayes family. Luckily, you didn’t. marry him at that time, Kathy. A sickly man with a peculiar woman is a wonderful and perfect match.”
