Ch 11

Tarnac pov

“So why was he passed up in the first place, Misty? Surely it wasn’t just for what he did?”

“Rumor was that he wasn’t your fathers or mothers to begin with. It was said that when he met your mother she was already “pupped”, but your parents were willing to raise him and claim him but he would never have a right to the Alpha position. Except she never even looked pupped. It’s also been said that the pup was found abandoned in the woods. And then they decided to play it off like she had the pup. He would never be eligible for anything but he thought otherwise. So when he was going to be passed up he wanted to get whatever advantage he could to do it. We stopped him the first time. Now it is up to Trinity to stop them again. The fact that you are mated to her means the rumor was true.”

I don’t know how I could be any more relieved hearing that he is of no relation, but was raised by my parents. Were they the best? Not exactly but I wouldn’t be the man I am today without them. And also a very short little lady who has me wrapped like a nutcase. So then where does everything go from here? I know he will be back and soon it will be a fight but we need to get planning for this luna ceremony.

I track down Trinity and when I see her I can’t help but smile that this little spitfire is my mate. Never did I ever think of the whirlwind we would be one in becoming her mate, but yet here we are.

“Trinity, how do we let everyone know about the Luna ceremony? I know we usually wait till a full moon ect but Baphomet will be counting on us to have it then. So let’s do it tonight. I want everyone here so we have plenty of security.”

“Ok. It’s done.”

“What’s done? I don’t understand.”

“I let the girls know.”

Next thing I know my phone starts pinging with notifications. I look down and I see text messages from the Alphas that they are loading up to be on their way. I just stare at Trinity who is walking around off in her own little world mumbling to herself. I just stare wondering what it’s all about when I feel a hand on my forearm. I must have jumped two feet in the air when I’m looking at the Oracle.

“Anna, what is going on with her? Why is she wandering around mumbling?”

“Something is going to be happening and she can feel the change in the environment. What were you discussing before this?”

“The Luna ceremony. I decided to do it tonight instead of the full moon.”

I see her look at me when the blood drains from her face. I can tell something is going on and she knows.

“He knows. She can feel him already making plans to attend.”

“Anna, how can he?”

“Remember who you are dealing with. He has ways. If it’s my guess he has someone here listening or planted something. Or had someone plant something so he could listen.”

“Why can’t we feel it then? We should be able to tell, right?”

“Not if it’s cloaked in black magic. I wouldn’t even be able to find it. I know someone who will be able to though. Give me a few minutes.”

I nod my head when she leaves and I turn my attention back to Trinity. She is pacing back and forth and you can tell she’s getting uncomfortable by the second. All of a sudden she looks at me hissing with her white eyes and I respond back.

“I know baby there’s something here we will find it.”

I watch her place her hand up on the wall and start hissing looking around panicking and I know we are in trouble. I walk over placing my hand on the wall and you can feel the evil crawling in the walls. I search around the room and it’s everywhere in the walls. How did it get in? I wrap my arm around Trinity holding her to me to protect her and try to comfort as best as I can.

I see the oracle reappear with a man in a robe and pointed hat dressed all in black. When he looks at me his eyes are black and I instantly hiss at him shoving Trinity behind me. He puts his hands up surrendering to show he is no threat.

“Alpha Tarnac, I don’t pose any threat I promise. I know how my appearance looks but I’m not that kind of evil. I remain neutral but can find things from both sides. Where do you feel it? It’s here because you both are reacting.”

“In the walls. It’s moving around but there seems to be more than one.”

He just nods walking over to the wall and when he places his hand he instantly starts staring at different places in the walls. I see his whole outfit turn white when he looks at me with white eyes.

“Get out of the house right now. Anna get them out of here. This is more than what I can deal with by myself. I will need to get reinforcements. Evil is everywhere in the walls.”

Anna runs towards us and motions for us to hurry and get outside. I grab Trinity picking her up and we exit through the doors out to the field when we can hear maniacal laughter booming from overhead. I search around but see nothing when Misty comes running up to us.

“He’s here Tarnac, I can feel him. He’s close.”

“We know there is evil inside the house that is currently being dealt with. We need to find a place to go quickly since it’s not safe here.”

I mind link Torad to get clothes packed and thrown in an suv for us to get out of here. And to get everyone out of the pack house now. I send a mass text to the Alpha’s letting them know what’s going on and they all say to get to the cave. We have better protection there and he knows it. We hear booms and flashes of lights coming from inside the pack house when Black mists start shooting out the roof.

The laughing stops overhead and we all just look around. I look down at Trinity who is holding onto her mom, staring and hissing at the forest line. I turn to stare as Baphomet and Raston walk out laughing followed by their little pets. I shove Trinity and her mom behind me when I just stare and hiss.

“I see you found our friends. Such a shame it was to lose our advantage. It’s ok though we got the info that we needed. Oh Misty, I think you need to come forward.”

I feel Trinity and her mom come around from behind me when she tells Trinity to stay with me. I try to grab for her when she motions with her head no. I watch her place her head agains Trinity’s as they share a moment and Trinity nods her head. Misty smiles up at me when she turns to walk towards Baphomet.

I see him motion for everyone to stay put when he starts walking forward towards Misty, and I can only imagine the conversation that’s about to take place. No doubt he knows or has an idea of who Trinity is aside from being the protector of life. My only thought is how is he going to react knowing the person he is trying to kill is his own daughter.
