Ch 7

Tarnac pov

It takes us some time to get onto the territory, and when we arrive it’s still night time. We drive up to the pack house when we see Torad standing outside. Until we know for sure who we can trust we need to be cautious. I have all available guards come to the front of the pack house. Torad and I open the door and stand outside with the other alphas. We stand there while the girls stand inside and watch them slowly come by. Once they are all standing in lines is when Torad goes through one by one holding his hand over their head. I can hear the girls hiss at certain ones so we have them stand off to the side.

Once we get through all of them we have them switch out with everyone standing on the borders. It takes thirty minutes to get everyone switched when we do the same thing with the others. Every few guards we can hear the girls hissing from inside. Once we get through everyone we have about thirty guards off to the side. I have the other guards take silver cuffs and cuff them all. They still have no clue what’s going on, but are clearly getting pissed off. I have guards hold each of these prisoners.

When I have the girls step out these guards look straight at them starting to hiss when the girls hiss back. Everyone is showing their canines when the guards eyes go pure red making us all jump back. We see the girls’ eyes turn white hissing when I yell to get them down into the dungeons. Next will be every fucking pack house on this property.

I want everyone to stay in their homes. We start at one house and slowly walk down the line, when we get to the 4th house the girls start hissing towards the house. I have a few Alphas go to the back when we start hearing screaming from inside. I yelled out to hit it and we got busting in from the front and back. I see the mate and children hiding in the corner while their mate is hissing towards the front door with red eyes. I have guards rush in throwing on silver cuffs.

He’s hauled away while we continue to work our way down. I have the guards spread out and soon we can hear screaming from different houses so I tell them to hit the houses and remove the traitors. This takes us a couple hours to do but we round up another thirty pack members all with red eyes. I see the remaining pack members all outside their homes wanting to know what’s going on.

“Pack members, I know you have questions about what is going on. Your Luna is very special and there are traitors in our pack who want her dead. We have weeded out those that we were able to find. The work is not done though. We will be having the luna ceremony tomorrow night during the full moon. We must protect the Luna to get through this ceremony. Go back inside, lock your doors and rest. Tomorrow will be a very long day. I will not have traitors in this pack. Those that have been found guilty of being a traitor will be executed tomorrow morning.”

I can hear some women start crying and I know it will be a hard day tomorrow. There will be a lot of screaming, but they understand that this must be done. I motion for everyone to follow me back to the pack house and have guards surround the house to guard it. Same with the dungeon. I need to just rest. I’m both mentally and physically exhausted. I set up all our guests in rooms when I go to mine with Trinity.

I just lay down on the bed on my back when Trinity comes and snuggles next to my side. I pull her to my chest when I roll to my side just staring at her face. I just think of how crazy this life is becoming and how it’s moving so fast. When I saw her white wolf, this was not how I expected it to go. I’m pulled from my thoughts when I hear her say something that catches me off guard.

“Do you regret making me your mate?”

“What? Goddess no Trinity! Was this what I was expecting when I thought you were special? Hell no! Except I couldn’t imagine anyone else doing this. Especially not Raston. I never expected that this would be how my life would be once I found a mate, but wouldn’t change a thing!”

She nods when she gives me a kiss then whips her head to the back escape route from the room. I watch her intently while she slowly climbs on top of me when I see her eyes turn white with her fangs showing. She hisses when our bedroom door swings open with the other girls running in hissing with the Alpha’s in tow. Trinity climbs off the bed towards the back of the room when I look at the Alpha and back to her.

I slowly move to get up when I see absolutely nothing in the room. In fact no one sees anything but the girls are still hissing at the corner of the room.

“Show yourself, demon! We know you’re here! Come out and let’s play!”

Ok now that scared the shit out of me. As if the situation isn’t a little creepy in general. The voice that just came out of Trinity will make anyone piss their pants. I just look at the Alpha’s who just stare at me and I’m sure they’re thinking yeah that’s why you got the main one.

I hear a hiss from the corner and soon see a set of red eyes show themselves. We all quickly shift when I see whoever this is run and charge at trinity when the girls charge right back. In one swift motion the girls circle this thing grabbing it and holding it still. We watch this person hiss at the girls and at Trinity when they hiss back. In a swift motion I see Trinity stomp towards him and crash her hand right into his chest. I grab the Alphas while they grab onto me and we are fucking trembling.

I watch her yank her hand out with it’s heart still fucking beating. She hisses at him when her hand goes in the air and a glowing stake appears in her hand.

She takes it and plunges it straight into the heart when we see this thing slowly wither to dust dropping onto the floor. The heart turns to dust going up and turning into nothing and disappearing. When the girls turn around we realize we are huddled into the corner holding onto each other for dear life. We quickly let go and stood up straight like we were all just waiting for them to be done when they just stared at us. The girls slowly leave when I look at Trinity covered in blood. I just stare blankly, not even knowing what to say or do.

“Are you scared of me?”

“No, I don’t think scared is quite the word I’m looking for. Maybe I’m trying to kinda get the hang of having a mate in itself. Except I don’t have a normal mate. I have one that can rip the hearts out of demons. Little outside my expertise. Hell, I think it’s outside of the expertise of anyone really. I just don’t want to say the wrong thing and have that aggression taken out on me. I’d like to keep my heart intact if at all possible.”

“You’d think I’d hurt you? I’m supposed to protect you. I could never hurt my mate.”

I see her starting to back away, and my heart sinks. I rush towards her, picking her up and taking her straight into the bathroom locking the door behind us. I carry her into the shower setting her down so I can strip my clothes and turn the shower on. She just stares at me when I strip off her clothes and throw them down on the ground.

I push her under the water to get her washed off and when I’m sure she is clean I grab her by the back of the neck spinning her towards me crashing my lips to hers. I put everything into that kiss, grabbing her by the thighs, lifting her up and pinning her to the wall. I lean back and look into her eyes when I see tears falling down her face.

“You are my fucking mate! Do you understand me? My fucking mate! I wanted you and I got you!”

I hold her still when I whisper I’m sorry. I watch her look at me confused when I slam myself into her when she screams out at me baring her teeth and hissing. I look back at her baring my canines when I start pumping in and out as fast as I can. I feel her starting to build up quickly and the moment she is about to let her orgasm release I sink my canines into her neck again.

I feel her release when I lick her neck closed and she then sinks her teeth into my neck. I let my orgasm go and growl loudly, throwing my head back when I’m brought down to my knees. I start screaming in pain when I see Trinity panic. I mind link for Torad to get to the room now! I hear him get in the main door when Trinity opens the bathroom door in a panic. Torad takes one look at me and knows something isn’t right.

“Get me to the conference room now!”
