Chapter 25

Yesterday we had cleaned the palace. It was hard and took hours but we had done it. Alec had bought beds and mattresses from the pack house, and we had set them all up.

Everyone in the pack had a room, that’s how big the palace was.

“Emily you awake?” Alec opened his eyes, yawning and I nodded

“Yeah. I couldn’t sleep” I mumbled as he laid his head on my stomach.

“Why?” He asked and I shrugged

“I don’t know” I told him and he nodded

“Now that most people know you are the princess, you do know that you have to become the princess and let the supernatural council know right?” He asked

“Really? When do we have to tell them?” I asked

“I can tell them for you. All we need is for you to write your name, full name, take a picture of you, and your DNA. And I’ll give it to them. And then when they get the results you can become a proper princess” he looked up at me.

“With all those gowns and tiaras?” I asked confused and he shook his head

“No. You have to wear the tiara, plus it would look beautiful on you” he smirked and I nodded

“So no gowns?” I asked and he nodded

“You can wear them if you want but you don’t have to” he said and I nodded

“I don’t want to” I said and he nodded

“Once we do all of that, we have to throw a party. For every pack, especially the vampire, because their princess has retured” he said and I nodded

“I don’t feel like doing it Alec. I just want to stay away from everyone. I don’t think I will be able to look after everyone. I can’t look after myself when Cameron gets me then how am I going to look after everyone?” I questioned and he sat up in bed and I laid my head on his shoulder.

“I’ll be there, every step with you, Emily. I won’t leave you alone. I promise. And I’m sorry I couldn’t kill Cameron. He ran away before anyone could catch him. But I killed everyone else. I’m sorry I couldn’t get to him” he whispered and I shook my head

“It’s okay Alec. Just promise that you won’t leave me?”

“Good. Now I think we need to get out of bed, and find some food for everyone” I looked up at him

“If you can look after this pack, then you can look after everyone Emily. And you’re already acting like a luna” he smirked and I stood up from bed.

“I am the luna right?”

“Definitely” he got of bed with me.

“I’m going to have a showe-”

“I’ll join you. It saves water!” He smirked walking to the bathroom.

“Alec no!” I shouted and ran to the bathroom. He stopped midway, taking his shirt off and looked at me.

“Really? You want me to stop?” He whispered walking closer to me and throwing his shirt off.

“No?” I whispered back and he smirked

“Well you can join me?” He walked towards the shower and turned it on.

He took his jeans off, leaving him in nothing. He stood under the water and I could see the water droplets falling down his body.

“You coming?” He asked and I nodded

“Yep” I mumbled taking my shirt off

“I’ve sent all of the information in. And we should get the results back in an hour or two. I’ll show you around. My dad always came to clean it up, after the Royal family died. And I would always come with him” Alec explained holding my hand as we walked downstairs.

Alec had taken my DNA and my pictures, then sent it to the supernatural council.

Alec wanted me to see the whole palace, to see my parents pictures and their stuff.

We reached a room on the second floor, and Alec opened the door and we walked inside. The room looked amazing. Everything was silver and gold. The bedding, the furniture, everything. It looked like a room a royalty would have. Obviously

“This is your parents room. That’s your parents, Rose and Albert” Alec pointed to a big picture, of a married couple.

Mom was beautiful. She had dark black hair, green eyes and she was pale. Vampire

And dad, he had black hair and blue eyes. They both looked like the perfect couple.

“You look like Rose” he whispered in my ear and I nodded

“Mom was beautiful”

“So are you” he tightened his hand on mine and I nodded.

“My dad said that the tiara, that your mom wore, is in her closet. You can go look for it” he said and I nodded

I walked to a closet and opened it, and was shocked to see it was a room.

“Alec! This is a big closet!” I exclaimed walking inside to see mom’s gowns, and clothes with dad’s on the other side.

In the middle was a big glass container, on a table. Inside was a beautiful tiara. It was gold with small pink diamonds.

“Is that mine?” I asked as Alec walked towards me.

“Yeah. You can wear it if you want?” He questioned and I nodded walking closer to it.

The key I had around my neck glowed and the container opened.

“It’s powered with the key. And only the right owner can open it. Try it on” he said walking towards me.

He picked the tiara up and placed it on my head.

“You look beautiful” he smiled as I touched.

“Can I wear it?” I said and he nodded

“Yep. Now I know a place you would love it” he pulled me out of the closet.

“Alec! Where are we going?” I asked as he pulled me out of the room, and upstairs.

“A place that you will love!” He smirked looking behind him, at me and walking towards a door.

“I think you might love this” he covered my eyes with his hand and I heard a door opened

“Alec!” I squeaked as he walked me inside.

“Don’t open your eyes okay?” He asked and I nodded.

His hand left my face, and I heard him walk away.

“Alec?” I questioned nervously

“I’m still here Emily. Just finding the light....done!” He muttered and walked closer to me

“Open” he whispered into my ear, I felt chills running down my back, and it felt good.

I opened my eyes to see books everywhere around me. There were four pillars in the room, and a second floor.

“Do you like it?” I heard Alec’s voice behind me

“Like it? I love it Alec. Thank you” I exclaimed turning around and hugged him tightly.

“I’m happy you like it” he whispered tightening his hands around me

“What’s wrong Alec?” I asked confused as he didn’t let me go.

“Nothing. I’m going to have a party tomorrow. For you. And everyone will be coming, so you can stay here and I have to be some where. I love you Emily” he kissed my cheek and walked out the room just as Nat walked in.

“Okay! I’m not going to lie, but I wish I had that tiara! I swear girl, you look beautiful in it” Nat exclaimed walking towards me.

“Do you like it?” I asked and she nodded

“Yep. Anyway Alec told me about the party tomorrow and I was thinking we either go shoppin-”

“I don’t want to go shopping” I said and she nodded

“Okay. We’ll look through your closet to find something. Okay?” She asked and I nodded

“You go ahead. And I’ll come” I said and she nodded

“Okay. But you better hurry up” she mumbled and walked out the room. I turned around and looked at all the books.

Definitely coming back I thought smiling slightly.
