Yesterday was the best day of my life. When I woke up this morning, Alec had bought me breakfast in bed and he made me wear the ring.

“Alec, when are you going for your meetings?” I asked sitting down on the sofa.

“I cancelled them.”

“Alec! Don’t cancel them because of me. I will mindlink you if there is an emergency. And our appointment is in 3 hours” I exclaimed and he sighed

“Alec you can spend with me later. Don’t delay things because of me. These meetings are important” I said and he nodded

He stood up and walked towards me.

“I’ll see you later. I can’t wait to find out what our baby is” he kissed my cheek and walked out the room.

Today is the day me and Alec are going to the pack doctor. We are going to find out what gender the baby is today.

It was only 1 o’clock and our appointment was at 4. I stood up slowly and walked out of the castle.

Just as I stepped down from the steps, Anna stood infront of me.

“I want to talk to you” she said and I nodded

I sat down on the step, and she sat next to me.

“Did you need something Emily? Is it time to go?” He asked walking closer to me

“I was thinking we could spend some time together” I smiled wrapping my arms around his neck

“You wan to spend time now?” He smirked

“Alec I want you.” He shook his head

“No Emily. Why don’t we go early to the appointment. I bet they don’t have anyone else.” He said removing my arms.

“Alec, please” I mumbled

“No Emily. Let’s go and ask” he said smiling at me and I nodded

He held my hand and I followed him out of the office.

Am I not good enough? He doesn’t want to be with me now? I questioned myself following him to the pack hospital.

When we came to the kingdom,everything was all ready done for us. The castle is where Alec and I live with Liam and Nat.

Right next to us is another house, where the rest of the pack lives. And then there is a hospital, right next to that.

“Emily are you listening to me?” Alec asked

“Hm?”

“We’re here. Let’s go. Chloe said we can go inside”

“Chloe? Who’s that?” I asked following him to a room

“Your midwife. The person who is going to help you deliver the baby” he said as a woman walked inside.

After 5 minutes of laying down on the bed I could hear a heart beat.

“Is th-” Alec was speechless

“Yes Alpha. It’s baby girl” Chloe said and Alec smiled brightly

“Yes!” He jumped up then quickly stood up straight.

“I-I mean, I wanted a baby girl” he told us and Chloe nodded

“I wanted a baby boy” I mumbled

“It’s okay Emily. We can try again after the baby is born” Alec smirked at me and I nodded

“Can we go?” I asked as Chloe wiped the cold gel off my stomach.

“Yes. Now I’ll give you a book, and it’s about pregnancy. What to eat, what to avoid, it’s like that” chloe said

“Can we have two? I want to read it as well. So I can look after Emily perfectly” Alec asked and she nodded

“I’ll be outside” I mumbled and walked out the room.

After a couple of minutes, Alec came out the door with two books in his hand.

“What’s wrong Emily?” He asked walking towards me.

“Nothing.” I gave him a fake smile

“Let’s just go home. I’m really tired”

“I’ll pick you up” he said and got down on his knees, and picked me up bridal style.

“Alec! I can walk!” I exclaimed wrapping my arms around his neck as he stood up

“I know, but you’re tired” he smiled at me and we walked out of the hospital.

We went to the castle and Alec carried me upstairs to our room. He laid me down the bed and pulled the duvet over me.

“I’m going to go back to the meetings okay?” He kissed my forehead and turned around.

“Wait Alec!” He turned back around

“Yes?”

“Am I your weakness?” I asked and he looked confused

After a couple of minutes him thinking, he nodded

“Yes Emily, you are my weakness. If someone touches you, I’ll go crazy, if someone hurts you, I’ll go crazier. And if anything happens to you, I won’t be able to live. So you are weakness, but you’re al-” I shook my head

“I have a headache Alec, I’m going to go to sleep. Bye” I turned around and pulled the covers over me.

“I love you Emily” he kissed the top of my head and I heard him walk out.

So I am his weakness. Anna was right? I thought

No! Emily don’t think about leaving! What about the baby? Ava shouted

I can look after it by myself Ava. I don’t want to be his weakness, I want him to live a happy life Ava, not a sad one with me.

I closed the bag, and walked towards the window. If I go through the door, Alec will know.

Before leaving I made sure I left a note for Alec to read.

I opened the window, and made a shield around myself and jumped out. I landed safely on the floor and nobody could see me.

I ran to the forest as quickly as I could, and just as I walked out of the castle’s land, I could feel the ties to this pack break. It was only a little pain, and nobody will feel it except me and Alec. He’ll just think someone left the pack,

I got rid of the shield as Anna popped up in front of me.

“So you’re leaving?” She questioned

“I know you just want me to leave Anna, so you can be with Alec, but i know alec won’t go to you. If he loves me, he won’t even talk to you.

Ever since I have come into Alec’s life, it’s just been problems for him. And I’m leaving. I asked him if I am his weakness and he said yes. I know your making me think this is all right and I’m doing the best thing, because I agree. I am doing the best thing, for Alec. I know you tried to brain wash me Anna, and it worked” I laughed at her sadly.

“I love Alec Anna, a lot.” I whispered tears in my eyes

“Then why are you leaving him?” She asked and I smiled

“It’s for him to have a better life. For him to be a better person.” I said and she nodded

“Here, this will help with you. Do you know where you are going?” She asked handing me money and I shook my head

“I don’t want your money Anna. I don’t like you. And if I knew where I was going, I wouldn’t tell you. Don’t tell Alec about me leaving, let him find out on his own” I muttered hearing footsteps come closer.

“I’m going. I hope I never see you again Anna” I muttered grabbing my bag and walking away.

“Wait! Are you ever going to come back?” She asked

“Yes” I walked away.

I told Chase! Ava told me and I rolled my eyes.

I love you Ava! I chuckled slightly making a shield around myself.
