Alec’s p.o.v

Emily. She’s back.

“Mama” Mia shouted as I put her in my bed. I walked to the closet and opened the door.

I never got rid of Emily’s things. I walked inside and closer to her clothes.

Go to her! Why are you here! She’s back! Chase shouted at me

She left me Chase. I can’t just go back to her that quickly I said

You can! She’s your mate! Just go back to her. You have done a lot of bad things yourself. He said and I sighed

Will she accept me?

Of course she will! He blocked me out.

“Mama” Mia cried and I quickly walked out of the closet and towards her.

I picked her up and rocked her slowly. I read a book on how to be the best parent, when Emily was still here.

“Shush. Mia, it’s okay” I whispered and she smiled holding my finger.

“Say it. Dada. Or daddy” I mumbled and she smiled

“Dada” she clapped her hands and I was shocked.

“Emily!” I ran to the door opening it.

“Emily!” I shouted and she ran up stairs

“What!” She asked worried.

“She said it. She said Dada” I smiled

“Dada” Mia said again and I smiled

“That’s good. Alec can we talk?” She asked as Nat walked towards us.

“You guys talk, and I’ll take Mia” she took her off me and walked downstairs.

Emily walked inside and I closed the door.

“Alec I’m sor-” I turned around and walked close to her.

“Please say something” she whispered and I cupped her face.

“I love you” I whispered leaning down towards her lips. I kissed her slowly, and she kissed me back.

“I love you so much Emily” I mumbled against her lips.

I could feel the sparks, they were like fireworks, exploding every time she touched me.

“I love you too Alec. I’m sorry” she whispered hugging me

“I’m sorry too” I wrapped my arms around her tighter.

“Why can’t we just be a normal couple, and not have these arguments?” She questioned

“We are nowhere close to normal Emily. That’s what I love about us” I chuckled

“So you forgive me? For leaving? For taking your daughter away from you? For the whole year?” She asked letting me go.

“If you forgive me for sleeping with humans? For drinking? And for not looking for you?” I asked and she nodded

“I forgive you for drinking and not for sleeping with other? That hurt me Alec” she whispered

“Please Emily. I was lost! I didn’t know, I was going crazy. I forgave you for everything you did” I pleaded

“I’ll forgive you Alec, if you promise me to make me a chocolate cake. Nobody in England knew how to make it properly” she groaned and I smiled

“Of course Emily. So you were in England? Why did you even leave?” I asked, wrapping my arms around her waist.

“Wait! You never took the ring off?” I asked looking at the hand as she placed both of her hands on my chest.

“It was a way to tell all the humans I was taken” she smiled and I nodded

“If you were my weakness and I replied with yes. But you didn’t let me finish Emily. You’re also my strength Emily. You’re my everything, without you I wouldn’t be here nor would my pack be.” I explained to her.

“Anna told me that you had sex with her nearly every day? But after I got pregnant, you never had sex with me. I know I sound desperate but Alec-”

" I didn’t have sex with you because I was scared. I was scared that I might hurt you too much, or I might hurt the baby. I didn’t want anything like that to happen! You talked to Anna?” I asked confused

“Yeah. It was her idea to go and I agreed”

“Wait! You agreed to what she said? Emily that’s not like you” I said

“I know Alec. I don’t know why I agreed to her. I knew I was doing the wrong thing, but what she said to me, kind of made sense” she said siting down on the bed.

“What did she say?” I asked getting down on my knees and looking up at her.

“She said to me how you were happy with her, how I bring sadness to you. And I know it was true. Ever since I have met you Alec, there’s just been problems and problems coming up. She said you needed a happy life, because about your past. About everything that happened to you!” I groaned

“She’s a bitch! She lied Emily. You should have asked me. I am happy with you. And all these problems, they have always been there. Ever since I become the Alpha King, problems and problems have been approaching. It has nothing to do with you Emily. I am more happy than I have ever been in my whole life, with you” I explained to her.

“What’s happened to Anna?” She asked

“I removed her from the pack. She doesn’t belong here” I muttered as the door opened and Mia walked in slowly with Nat behind her.

“She can walk!” Nat exclaimed and Emily nodded.

“She can. She does know how to walk Nat. Hopefully every 1 years old does. I think she’s just a late shifter” Emily walked towards Mia and held her hand.

“I’ll be downstairs” Nat closed the door

“Alec, I’m worried about Mia. How old does she look to you? 1 right? Normally a werewolf or a vampire should at least look 3-4. And she looks like her age” Emily said walking back to the bed as Mia jumped on me.

“Dada” she shouted and I tickled her.

“She’s just a late shifter Emily. Don’t worry. I think its because she’s been living among humans, that her senses haven’t changed yet” I explained to Emily as Mia started punching me.

“Mia is a boxer!” I exclaimed pretending to punch her back.

“I think so too. She should have been born with her senses high” Emily sighed

“Don’t worry Emily. We’ll wait until she’s older.” I said picking Mia up and sitting on the bed next to her.

“Dada” Mia exclaimed hitting me on the face.

“She’s strong!” I muttered touching my cheek

“She’s my daughter” Emily smiled

“Our daughter” I smiled and leaned down and kissed Emily.

“Mama” Mia shouted.

I put Mia on the floor and she walked to the bathroom.

“I love you Emily but promise me something?” I asked pecking her lips

“What?” She asked

“That this is our forever? That you won’t leave me again? That if there is a problem between us, we talk about it first?” I asked and she nodded

“I promise. Do you promise?” She asked and I nodded

“I promise as well, Emily.” She kissed my cheek.
