“I can’t believe Octavia! Disrespecting an Alpha, my Alpha at that.” I roar.

“Your Alpha? Who is your Alpha? Have you found your mate? Is it a male?” Trigger questions.

I am on him like a flash, throwing him against the wall.

“The Alpha I am referring to is a future Alpha and she is a female. I misspoke she is not my Alpha; she is just another Alpha. She’s Alpha Federico’s daughter and will be taken over once she shifts.” I state.

“Are you taking about Gianna? I’ve seen her at Lavish a few months back. She needed someone to help get her and her friends get in and I helped her out. She was really drunk and out of it by the end of the night, I guess she cannot hold her liquor since she hasn’t shifted yet. I thought she was already mated; Aaron says she has a pup. The guy she was with is part demon part werewolf, is he the dad?” Trigger asks.

“What?” I stop dead in my tracks. Her son is part demon, does she know he is a demon? I have tons of questions swirling in my head.

I shake my head trying to get her out of my thoughts. I am not sure why I care so much about this little Alpha and her pup.

“We need to talk about your future Luna” I say.

“Yeah… What about?” Trigger scoffs

“Today we were at the mall looking for something for the red moon party. That’s going to be hosted by the Golden Paw Pack this year. While there we ran into Gianna and her friends. Octavia called them all Omega’s and said we shouldn’t be mingling with them. Before I could say anything, Gianna let’s her aura slip, growls and grab’s Octavia by her arm and says, “It’s Alpha to you!” Then she apologized to me thinking Octavia was my mate.

Tell you the truth I was never so turned on in my life.”

“Feisty little thing huh?” Trigger chuckles.

“You don’t know the half of it she’s smart, she already graduated and has been working with the doctors at her pack hospital. She wants to be a doctor and the Alpha. She’s so beautiful Trig, I can’t stop thinking about her. She hasn’t shifted yet, but I am hoping she is my mate. When she touched my arm during my last visit, I thought I felt a spark. Her birthday is the day after the red moon party. I am going over there in a few weeks to get some baking lessons from her and help with preparations for the red moon party since her parents will be out of town. It will be nice to get close to her and find out the real her without her father being there.”

“It sounds like you got it bad for her man, what happens if she is not your mate. What are you going to do?” He asks.

A knock at the door interrupts us.

“What’s going on with Octavia? She said some Omega grabbed her arm and you did nothing. Now she’s throwing a fit and tearing up the game room downstairs. That bitch is crazy” Alex says.

“Watch your mouth, that’s your future Luna, and it was an Alpha that grabbed her arm, not an Omega. I thought it was handled though, she seemed fine when we left the mall. Let’s go see.” I say.

We made our way down to the first floor and towards the game room. I see some games sitting outside the door and yelling as I approached.

“That lowly Omega trying to spite me in front of the future King, who does that whore think she is? I’ll kill her next time I see her!” Octavia says as she throws more items across the room.

“Who do you think you are to disrespect me as the future King? I told you to let it go, she is an Alpha! Did you think you are better than her because you MIGHT be my Luna? I told you becoming my Luna meant you need to behave like one. Are you behaving like a Luna Octavia?” I command using my Alpha tone.

She bears her neck to me showing she is submissive. I will not tolerate disrespect.

“I’m sorry baby, she just made me so mad. She hurt my arm and I didn’t know she was an Alpha” she cries.

“I told you when we were at the mall, she was an Alpha. The only way you will become Luna is if I do not find my mate at the Red Moon Party. Do I make myself clear?” I boom.

“Yes Alpha.” She says.

I tell her to clean this place up and replace any items she damaged. We head to the kitchen, and I am seriously contemplating if I should take her as my Luna.

I gave my word to my father the first red moon after my King ceremony. I will take Octavia as my chosen mate if I have not found my fated mate.

I reach for my go to drink. Hennessy, and pour Trigger, Alex, and me a drink. Mine is much needed. I have a lot on my mind. My ceremony is just a few days away and all I can think about is asking Gianna to come. I know it is required for all Alpha’s and their Luna’s to come to the ceremony, but I hope to have Gianna come as well. She will calm my nerves.
