POV Gianna:

I wake up to Sierra and Storm singing “Happy Birthday”. Storm is holding Onyx and he is just giggling away. I sniff the air and ask who keep spraying air freshener in my room. They look at me puzzled. Why can’t they smell it? It smells like winter. I shrug it off and grab Onyx. The girls jump into my bed, and I was just about to tell them what happened last night with the King and I when we hear a knock at the door.

“Come in” I gently say.

My parents come in and I am still upset at my dad for what he said yesterday, but I let it go. They have breakfast for me and the girls. We ate so much I can’t move.

“Come on birthday girl we are going shopping then getting all dolled up after we get back. Your mom has arranged for some massages, and our hair and makeup to be done.” Sierra says.

I shower and get Onyx ready. As we walk out of Onyx’s room, I notice the smell again but slightly stronger. I shrug my shoulders and head to the garage to get my car, making sure Onyx is secure in his seat. The girls hop in, and we head off to do some retail therapy.

I am so thankful I had my dress custom made for tonight, just looking in the dress store I couldn’t find anything that really called my name. It’s been a few hours and mom mind links me telling me to come back as the people are here for me to start to get ready. It finally hits me; I am going to become Alpha in a few hours. The nerves are starting to kick in.

I am hit with the scent of lemongrass when I walk into Onyx’s room. There are three tables set up for us to get massages. Two hunky looking masseuse and a woman for Storm, you know she has a mate and all, they are awaiting us with cucumber water. I decided to go with a deep tissue massage, goddess knows I need it.

As I am enjoying my massage, I let my mind drift. I am kind of curious about my mate. What will he look like, will he reject me because I have a child, will he accept Onyx? I start to freak out and the masseuse tells me to relax. I am not huge on relaxing, I’m too high strung.

After some time, I decide it was enough of the massage. I get off the table and wrap the towel around my body, and head towards Onyx’s balcony. I see Trigger and Alex and wonder where Rasheed is. I haven’t been able to get him out of my head lately. I kind of wish he was my mate; I know he would accept Onyx and we would get along so well. I just know he has a chosen mate, and that he has not found is fated mate. While daydreaming Sierra comes taps me on the shoulder, bringing me out of my daze.

“It’s time to take a shower and start getting ready for your party Alpha” Sierra smirks.

I smile at her and walk back into the room. I am stunned, it has been turned into a bridal type of boutique. There’s make up stations, hair stations, jewelry stations, shoe stations and dress stations.

“How long was I out on the balcony?” I asked shocked “About an hour and a half” Storm says.

I nod and get in the shower. After a nice hot shower, I am courted to the hair station. It takes about two hours to get my hair ready. I have a messy Dutch braid that goes over my right shoulder, and loose curls that cascade around my face. The braid has crystal and pearl hair vine that is just gorgeous.

Next is onto my make up. I am not a huge girly girl, so I go with a light makeup. Just enough to accentuate my looks. Honestly, I am surprised how beautiful I look.

My favorite part of the dress up must be my dress. I am so in love with this gown. It is royal blue with small Swarovski crystals on the bodice, there are slightly larger crystals throughout the bottom of the dress making it look like it sparkles just enough. My train is not overly large but, I have a tulle cape that is attached to my neck, almost like a choker. The chocker part is lace and looks so delicate. My mom is obsessed with fairies, so I look very Fae like.

The shoe station is my second favorite part. I couldn’t decide on sneakers or heels. As I said before I am not a girly girl, so I love some sneakers. I decide I will wear heels for the ceremony and change into sneakers after. I am helped into my translucent royal blue shoes with Fae wings on the back. Can you tell who designed my gown and shoes now? The shoes are gorgeous though they have a good five-inch heel, bringing my height to a solid 5’5”. Later I will change into my custom-made Air max 90’s. They are completely royal blue with a black swoop and silver laces, the swoop is also lined with crystals. These are definitely being worn only once.

After I am done getting ready, I am handed some Hennessy.

“You guys are my rocks. I could not have done this without you two. I wish Lucas was here with us now. I would have a complete team. He is up there smiling and watching us with our wolf girl magic. Tonight, is about us and becoming a team to bring our pack further into greatness. I love you guys.

Sierra, Storm, and I cheers as our lives will be changing after tonight.

A knock at the door interrupts us and in walks mom with my beautiful baby boy. Onyx has an all-black suit with a royal blue bow tie. He is so handsome. I grab my little man up and I take my mom’s arm. I am stepping out this door no longer a child of an Alpha, but as an Alpha.
