POV Gianna:

I finished pumping and spending time with Onyx. As I head back to the conference room, I see Sierra and Storm walking out the door. I am confused, but something must have happened so I will ask them about it later.

I walk in and I see my handsome mate, I can’t help but smile. I just want to wrap my arms around him and take him to my room, business first though.

I see that Trigger is gone as well and I must say I am kind of pissed, not only is my Beta and Gamma gone but also Rasheed’s Beta. The meeting must go on though, so I remove the smile and put on my business face.

“I see we have lost a few people; I sure hope the reason is more important than this meeting.” I say as anger courses through me, but I do not let it show.

“They indeed had some very important matters to handle” Rasheed says.

I arch my eyebrow at him and proceed with the meeting.

“I hope everyone has enjoyed lunch we still have much to discuss. Please everyone take your seats. We left off talking about the living arrangements. I want to continue with this topic, how many warriors and their families do we need to accommodate for?”

“We have around 200 warriors.” Rasheed says.

“Okay, do you think they would prefer homes or apartments? I was thinking for the unmated warriors we can build an apartment complex and for the warriors with families we can put them in some of the homes we were building on the south side of the pack.”

“What are we doing about the club house? It just sits there, the triplets use it every now and then, but we can demolish it to put the apartment location….” My dad starts saying.

Anger courses through me and my wolf is fighting for control, hair is sprouting on my arms, my nails are digging into the table, I am struggling for control. I let out a furious growl.

“NO ONE IS TO TOUCH THE CLUB HOUSE! ANYONE TOUCHES THE CLUB HOUSE WILL FACE MY WRATH, IS

THAT UNDERSTOOD!” I growl. Looking menacingly at my father.

“No one will touch the club house my Queen.” Rasheed says.

It takes me a little while to completely calm down, but I huff at my father before continuing.

“As I was saying we will build the apartments for the warriors near the south side as well. There is that buffer between our borders and there is more than enough room for it to be placed there. I will speak with the contractors tomorrow. I will need your help Rasheed to see what your warriors will like. Each apartment will have at least two bedrooms, but you and I can handle out the details tomorrow. That is unless you need to go back to your pack, then I understand.”

“I am not leaving my Queen. We will arrange all the living arrangements over the next week and then we can head to my pack, and I will introduce you to everyone. Word has already spread, and they are eager to meet their Queen.” Rasheed says.

We talk about a few more topics, when Sierra and Storm walk in with huge smiles on their faces. Sierra winking at Rasheed earns a growl from me.

“Care to enlighten your Alpha as to why you were missing the second half of our meeting?”

“We got permission from King Rasheed. I was mind linked that there was an issue and me Storm went to handle it. We knew you were busy with Onyx and didn’t want to interrupt you, so we asked King Rasheed, and he said it would be ok.” Sierra says anxiously.

I know she is lying to me, but I don’t want to press her any further. I nodded and they take their seats. I look over to Rasheed and he gives me a lopsided smile.

“Don’t worry my Queen, I will tell you later tonight” Rasheed mind links me.

“Alright, the only thing I want to vote on is our pack name. What would you all like to change it to? We are open to suggestions.

While everyone debated, I ended the meeting. I needed to run, my father really upset me, and Tania needs to be let out.

“Hey, we’re sorry we didn’t inform you; we just didn’t want to disturb you. I know it has been a little adjusting since you became Alpha and spending time with Onyx. How about we go out tonight and just let our hair down?” Sierra asks.

“Sure, I just need to go for a run, you guys missed it earlier. My dad wanted to tear down the club house.”

“What! How could he suggest that?” Sierra whines.

“I’m not sure me and my dad have been butting heads the last few days.”

“Damn Gia, I’m sorry all this is happening. We have some other stuff to do, but we can meet you in Onyx’s room around seven.” Storm asks.

I nod and walk out of the pack house towards the woods. I go behind a tree and I am about to remove my clothes when I hear a stick crack. I turn and see Aaron.

“Want some company? This is a lot and dad really is pushing your buttons. Storm said you were out here, and I wanted to see how you were doing.” Aaron says.

“I would love that.”

We both go behind a tree and shift. I must say I missed my big brother.
