POV Gianna:

It’s been a few hours and I must say, I am beyond happy. It felt so good to run with my big brother. We haven’t spent this much time together since the triplets were born. A lot of the stress has been relieved just by that run with Aaron.

“Thank Aaron, I really needed that. I feel so much better.”

“Anytime ALPHA. I can’t believe how much you have changed for the better. You are way more fit to be the Alpha, I’m very proud of you.” Aaron sincerely says.

I smile and push him a little.

“I hear your going out with Storm and Sierra tonight, is it a girl’s night or can we all come? You know some of us MATES want to spend time with each other as well wink wink” he jokes.

“Sure, can you let everyone know. I need to shower and check on Onyx.”

We both head into the pack house and I go straight to Onyx’s room, I know the girls are going to be joining me soon, so I at least want to be showered. When I get in Onyx’s room, I am shocked. The girls are already in the room with a bunch of racks of clothes and shoes.

“What in the world is going on in here, I thought we were just going out to Lavish, why all the options?”

“We went shopping, it’s been a while and we wanted to get you some new clothes since you are now the Alpha of the pack.” Storm says.

“Girl please, you know I just want to wear some jeans and a shirt, nothing too flashy for Lavish, you never know if a fight is going to break out.”

I walk over to the racks and look through them. I am instantly drawn to a silver top; it is a long sleeve mock neck crop top with a crisscross back. This shows some skin, but not too much. I grab some black jeans and go to knock on my bedroom door which is still being used by the King.

“King Rasheed?”

“Yes, my Queen you can come into your bedroom whenever you like, you don’t have to ask or knock, and stop calling me King Rasheed it’s just Rasheed unless you want to call me King in the bedroom” Rasheed winks at me.

I blush the brightest shade of red there could be.

“I just need to get some shoes out of my closet, we are going out tonight, you are welcome to come. I am not sure if Aaron has asked you yet.”

“He has, thank you for inviting me. What are you planning to wear tonight?” He asks.

“Oh, nothing to fancy just some black jeans and a nice top, I wanted to wear some Jordan's, I just bought them, and they would be perfect for this outfit.”

I grab the box and pull out my custom-made Jordan XI, they are black and silver with a glitter clear gummy bottom. Oh, how I love them. I show them to Rasheed and he just smirks.

“Sneaker head I see.” He says.

“Oh yes, I love me some shoes, you can check them out, I’ve got maybe two to three hundred pairs.”

His eyes nearly bulge out his head. I chuckle and go back to Onyx’s room to get ready. We didn’t hire any makeup artists, because it’s not a super formal event, were just going out. Sierra insisted on a nail technician though, I get a simple French tip. Storm does my makeup lightly, I’m not a makeup type of girl but for tonight I’ll let them doll me up. We just finished when Storms eyes cloud over and I know someone is mind linking her. Her face instantly changes, and her eyes return to normal, but her scowl remains.

“What’s wrong? I ask.

“We’re not going to be able to go out. I was just informed that a huge order for cannoli and eclairs came in, they want them for tomorrow afternoon.” Storm says.

“Oh no worries I can make the shells and for the cannoli and the custards tonight after I come back. We can still go out.”

As I am talking, she gets another mind link, and she frowns even more.

“Sorry, I cut off Icing when she was telling me the order. A cake order was also on the order. A three- tiered cake, she said she put the order on your desk in the bakery and warmed up the ovens and took out the butter.” Storm says looking defeated.

“Well, I shall get to it. There is no reason for you guys to not enjoy the night, go on and have fun.”

“Okay we still have some time before we were leaving so we can at least get some of the ingredients out for you and the tubes for the cannoli shells.” Sierra says.

I nod and we head towards the bakery, just as Storm says, the lights are on and ready for me. Just before we walk in Storm turns me around.

“Sorry Gianna, but the boys are waiting for us.” Storm says.

“Oh okay, I will see you guys tomorrow.”

They run off and I am a little bummed I can’t go with them. I will mind link Rasheed when I get changed and get situated in the bakery. I walk in and the breath is knocked out of me.
