POV Gianna:

Rasheed and I have officially moved into the former palace, although I guess it would be the new palace. I’m confusing myself. Anyway. We moved in and in a few days, I will become Queen of the Fae’s and Rasheed the King.

My mother has not allowed me to plan anything, she said it is a custom for the leaving Queen to make all the arrangements for the new Queen.

I have already been dolled up, I just need some help putting on my dress, Rasheed is the only one allowed to help me. I wait for my husband to finish getting ready in his closet.

He walks out wearing an all-white suit with an iridescent shimmer to the suit jacket. He looks so yummy. I lick my lips lustfully at my husband.

“A little different than what we are used to right baby?” He says.

He makes eye contact with me and see’s my lustful eyes.

“Gianna, we cannot start something this close to the ceremony. As much as I want to, your mother will kill me if we are late.” He says.

“Please, just a little quickie?” I plead.

“Come on baby, don’t look at me like that, we have to wait until tonight. Please.” He groans.

“Fine, your no fun. Help me into my dress.”

My mood went sour, but my husband helps me with my dress. I put on the column dress with a deep plunge neckline and slit that reaches my hip. Thank the goddess I waxed, Rasheed helps me with the traditional Fae ethereal veil, which is covered in embroidered flowers. I stand back and look at myself in the mirror and gasp.

“Definitely not our typical clothing styles.”

It is tradition for my mother and I to walk into the ceremony together. I walk to the top of the stairs, and I am greeted by my mother.

“Oh, Gianna you look ravishing.” She says.

“It’s not over the top?”

“Not for Fae’s darling, we embrace our sexiness.” She chuckles.

There are roses, pampas grass and delphinium’s hanging from the ceiling, the walls are illuminating a forest backdrop and the centerpieces are gorgeous. They are huge and have an assortment of flowers and crystals dangling from them. The dance floor is white and has mine and Rasheed’s name monogrammed in royal blue. It is absolutely breathtaking.

“It is with great pleasure to introduce Queen Belle and Princess Gianna.” Councilman Blaze says.

My mother leads me to the dance floor and council woman Elisa steps forward.

“It has been a true honor to not only induct Gianna as Queen, but also her mother and grandmother. Today we are gathered to witness something so spectacular we needed it recorded. Today Queen Belle will turn power over to her daughter Gianna, who is already Queen of the Werewolves. It was an honor to speak at her wedding and it is an honor to speak at her coronation.”

Elisa takes out the vellum and pricks my finger and I sign the contract. I bring my hands to my chest and have my palms facing Elisa.

“Princess Gianna Antonia Jones, do you promise to uphold the duties of Queen and put your people first?” Elisa asks.

“I do”

She touches her hands with mine and chants the traditional coronation chant. I feel air swarm around me, and my hair is swooped to the side. I feel the vibration of the Fae power so strongly in my body.

“It is with great pleasure to introduce you to Gianna Antonia Jones, Queen of the Fae’s.” Elisa beams.

The crowd applauds, and I turn to them and smile. I look over at my husband and children and tears glisten my eyes. This would not be a joyous occasion without them.

Rasheed comes to the stage and Blaze stands next to Elisa. My mother comes to my side and rubs my arms. Giving me a huge smile.

“I am sure we all know why we are here.” Blaze chuckles.

The crowd laughs and Blaze gets serious.

“But with all seriousness, this is an honor something that only happens once in a lifetime if ever. We are honored to have Rasheed the Werewolf King become King of Fae’s as well. The Gods and Goddesses have bestowed you two with immense love and power. Let’s begin.” Blaze says.

Blaze takes the vellum from Elisa and pricks Rasheed’s finger; Rasheed signs the contract.

They stand in the same position as Elisa, and I did not too long ago, and Blazes says the sacred chant. Rasheed’s body glistens as the light refracts off of it.

“It is with great pleasure I introduce to you Rasheed Michael Jones, King of the Fae’s. Everyone lets join together and give a round of applause to the new King and Queen of the Fae’s.

The room erupts in claps and howls. I am ever so grateful for the life I have lived, the friends I have, and the family I have created.

Everyone clears the dance floor and Rasheed and I get into position to dance our first dance as King and Queen double time.

They play “spend my life with you” by Eric Benet and Tamia. I put my head on my husband’s chest, and we dance to the beautiful song.

“This, this right here Gianna is all I could ask for. To spend the rest of my life with you in this state of happiness.” Rasheed says.

The song comes to an end, and I see Onyx coming on to the dance floor. As well as Aaron and my mom and Kay, my mother-in-law.

“May I have this dance with my mother?” Onyx asks his father.

Rasheed obliges and walks to his mother. Onyx nods his head at the DJ and “A song for Mama” by Boyz II Men come on.

I look up at my son and see tears in his eyes. I wipe them away as they escape.

“Mom, you have been the strongest person I know, all my life I have looked up to you. The pride you have, the strength you show in the battlefield, the gracefulness you exude. You are a magnificent woman, and mother, let’s not forget your new title.” Onyx says.

“Boy, I have had the title of Queen, now it is just doubled.” I chuckle.

“That’s not the title I am referring to mama” Onyx winks.

I look at him questionable. When a smile appears on his face.

“Grandma” Onyx says.
