Chapter Thirteen

“Glad you decided to join us Serena” Elise smirks as we pop up in an old dusty warehouse. It was damp and dark as I looked around the room as I saw over twenty bright red eyes, vampires…

“I’m here only because of what they did to Lena and to get my parents back. We kill all the hunters and then I’m going back home” I growl as Sebastian laughs behind me.

“You’re too soft little wolf” Sebastian smirks as he moves my hair away from my mark on my collarbone and kisses it as I growl before feeling a sharp pain between myself and Craig.

“What the fuck did you just do?!” I growl as I kick him hard in the gut as he winces, but quickly recovers.

“Wouldn’t want your mate to track you, I just broke your bond for a little while” He smirks.

A raw growl vibrates from my chest as I step towards him angrily.

“I wouldn’t if I were you” Thomas flits to my side with a smirk, his eyes shining crimson red as he puts a hand to my throat.

I knock his hand from me, knocking him off balance before he hits me as I fly backwards. I shift as I pounce on him as I snap my teeth at him while he tries to hold my head away from his face.

“ENOUGH!” Elise shouts as she knocks me off of him and I shift, breathing heavily as we glare at one another.

“I think I got on little wolfs nerves” Sebastian laughs as I growl at him.

“Such a cute little pup” Thomas smiles as he winks at Sebastian.

“Boys! ENOUGH!” Elise snaps at them as they bow their heads at her.

“Where is Carla?” I growl.

“Downstairs with her parents, you can go see them if you like” Elise smiles as I nod, and she leads me down a dark corridor as I snarl at Sebastian and Thomas to stay away.

“They will die for what they did to me Elise” I growl.

“I agree when we are finished with them you may do as you please. But, I still need their power, so you must reign it in Serena. We have a lot to do and I won’t take disobedience” She looks at me sternly as we get to the bottom of the stairs.

“Fine. But keep them the fuck away from me. I want Carla and her family away from this too. You’ve got me, so they can go home now”

“I will send them on their merry way very soon” She smiles as she unlocks the door and opens it for me.

I run in as she closes it and locks it behind me.

“Carla?” I murmur, the room was pitch black.

Suddenly a tv turns on and I see a video of Carla and her family.

“What the fuck is this?” I growl as I try to open the door, but it doesn’t budge.

“How do you feel about your friend Carla? About Serena” Elise’s voice calls out on the video.

“She’s nothing but a freak! I hate her! This is her fault!” Carla cries out as I watch on it begins to hurt more and more.

“That girl was nothing but a liar! Why do you think we were moving? To get away from her madness!” Her father pops up.

More and more videos began to play of their hatred of me, more and more people began to pop up, foster families, kids from school.

More humans that hated me, thought I was a monster as I got angrier and angrier.

I must have been in that room for hours as I threw tables across the room, splinters of wood going everywhere as I shifted and broke the whole tv.

The door burst open as I growled in anger as Elise stood at the door.

“Carla isn’t here. She’s home. I can prove it too. We let her go as soon as we realised her hatred of you…” She sighs.

“Prove it” I growl as she nods and I shift back to my human form, following her to Sebastian.

“Take her to see the girl and her family” Elise says.

“As you wish, let’s go little wolf” He smirks, takes my arm and we disappear from the house once more as we land across the road, in front of a gorgeous house.

“Dad! Come on!” I see Carla huff as she walks out the house as her eyes dart across the road as she stands in fear.

“DAD!” She screams.

“What? Oh my god! Get away! We don’t want your kind here!” He snaps as he reaches for his gun.

“Carla?!” I cry out.

“NO! You’re a monster!” She cries as she bolts into the house.

Her father shoots at us as I duck out the way of his bullets.

“I don’t think they want you Serena…” Sebastian says in my ear as he tugs my arm and we disappear once more.

A monster…Was that what I was? Just a monster to her?!

I was back to standing in the room with Elise, Sebastian, and Thomas as I breathed heavily in anger.

“You are better than them Serena, you are powerful, you don’t have to take any of their shit. You can take this world by storm look how you took down five hunters on your own. With your own army we could take them down completely. Why should we hide? They don’t hide their hatred of us, why shouldn’t we be allowed to roam free. Instead we lurk in the darkness. Living in a little bubble like your family. They didn’t want you to know what you were, if they had you wouldn’t have gone through so much trouble…You wouldn’t have got hurt…The world should know about us…That’s what we want. We want our freedom to roam without fear, without hunters…What do you want Serena? Will you help us?” Elise circles me before tilting my head to faces hers.

“Wow…What pretty black eyes you have Serena” Thomas smirks.

“Black?”

“The eyes of a true warrior” Sebastian smirks.

“I want…I want to take down every hunter…I want to tear them to pieces…” I growl as they all smirk at me.

“Not tonight, tonight we rest, it’s been a busy day for Serena, she needs to rest. Down the hall to the right, third door down is your room. Go rest, we will wake you in the morning. I’ll have someone send you up some food and beverages” Elise gestures to the right as I nod and take off down the hall.

Soon enough I’m laying in a bed as a young vampire comes in with a tray filled with food and drinks.

“Thanks” I nod as he just glares at me and flits off.

What a dick…

Whatever Sebastian had done to my mark was stopping me from feeling anything to do with Craig and the others.

My phone was back home too so I had no way of contacting them.

But Elise was right, they just wanted to hide, to not fight back but we couldn’t do that. We should be able to roam free, without fear and I was going to make sure we could and show just how much of a powerful Alpha I could be when I take down every hunter that tried to kill our kind.

I would get my parents back too. Even if it meant I had to put up with Sebastian and Thomas, Elise promised me I could take them down when we were done, and I was excited for that day.

For now, I would eat my food and rest as she said so we could get down to business tomorrow. Humans would pay for what they were doing to us…

I was dreaming, I was running in a huge field as I ran free of worry before the image began to flash and someone appeared in front of me.

“Pauline?” I uttered.

“Where the fuck did you go?” She snaps angrily.

“This is just a dream” I rolled my eyes and kept running as she snapped her fingers and I couldn’t move suddenly.

“This is a dream, but I have stepped inside it! Now quickly, before I run out of power! Where are you?!” She shouts as she begins to flicker in and out.

“I’m fine. I’ll be back I promise” I smile.

“No!...Not…Safe…” She flickers.

“I’m safe, I am doing this to keep us all safe. Tell Craig I’m sorry and I love him” I answer.

“Serena! Craig…Hurt…Feels…everything” She begins.

The next thing I know I’m awoken by Sebastian slamming my door as he comes into my room as my body is sweating.

“What is it little wolf? I could hear you shouting down the hall” He watches me as I groan and sit up.

“Odd dream… It’s nothing” I shake my head.

“Let me see” He says and before I can say no he holds his hand on my head as his eyes turn white.

Power floods through my body as my eyes close and I see memories in my head, but some, I didn’t quite understand…I was hurt as a child…raped…but who by?

“Sebastian?! What the hell was that?” I cry out as he takes his hand off my head.

“Someone has played with your mind little wolf, whoever it is in your dreams is trying to mess with your memories, make you forget things…It’s dangerous little wolf…” He looks at me with concern.

“Why? Why would they do that?” I cry as he sits beside me.

“Because they want you. They want you as their own. But you’re one of us. They want to hurt you little wolf, but we will protect you, I swear it” He says as he pecks my lips.

“Why would you help me? I barely know you” I raise a brow, this man was just one of Elise’s men, we’d only met a few times.

“Because I love you little wolf” He smiles as he kisses me deeply.

His hands cup my face as I feel power drift through my body, a small ache in my heart that I could feel suddenly turns into a lustful heat as he lifts me so I’m straddling him as his hands glide over my body.

NO! Stop this! My wolf screams in my head before another surge of power floods me and my wolf is quiet as I lift up from Sebastian.

“What the fuck…” I murmur.

“What is it my love?” He asks.

“My wolf…It was screaming at me to stop…Why…Why would it do that…” I murmur.

“Because you were mated… You don’t remember?” He sighs as I look up at him with confusion.

“Mated…I…What the hell is going on? Why don’t I remember?”

“Hunters attacked you, they ripped apart your pack…Your mate died…That’s why your wolf screams out, it is still attached…But you need to move on…” Sebastian takes my head in his hands and pecks my lips.

Flickers of memories show themselves in my mind as I see hunters chasing me and the pack, gun fire, blood on the ground.

“Why don’t I remember any of it properly Sebastian?” I cry.

“Shhh, my love. The attack did a lot of damage, we barely got you out in time. You hit your head, badly” He sighs.

Lies! My wolf shouts as I shake my head trying to shut it out.

“Come here my love, lay with me, it’s ok” He says as he tugs me to his side as I lay beside him.

I wasn’t sure what was going on completely but for some reason I trusted him as I laid beside him as his hand laid against my stomach as I slowly fell asleep once more.

The next morning I woke up slowly next to Sebastian as he smiled down at me.

“Good morning my love, how did you sleep?” he asks

“Morning…Good actually…Really good” I smile as I get up and stretch as he watches me.

“Great, now do you want a shower?” He smirks as his gaze drifts over my body.

“Take a picture, it’ll last longer…But yes I do” I smirk.

“Then let’s go” He winks, stands, and takes my arm as we suddenly appear in a bathroom as his hands begin to take off my clothes.

“I was going to shower alone” I laugh.

“Where’s the fun in that?” He grins as his hands wander over my body. Lust spreads across my body at his touch, but something was also niggling at me in my heart.

Not dead…

What the fuck…who’s not dead? I ask my wolf as Sebastian strips me completely as he picks me up and takes me into the shower as he cups my heat taking me from my own thoughts as I moan.

“You’re overthinking things aren’t you” he murmurs in my ear as his fingers play with my hot bud.

“Then help me stop thinking” I growl as he smirks, lifting me so my legs are wound around him as he plunges into me with a moan.

“Sebastian! Come on! We got shit to do! What the fuck are you doing in there!?!” I hear Thomas snap outside as we finished in the shower.

“Calm the fuck down!” Sebastian opens the door as I’m stood there in a towel as Thomas looks at us in shock.

“What…Well…You have a lot explaining to do” Thomas pokes a finger to Sebastian with a smirk.

“Later…Now leave me and my girl alone” Sebastian slams the door in his face as I hear Thomas murmur that Sebastian was a prick. I giggle as Sebastian looks at me with confusion on his face.

“He called you a prick…Wolf hearing…” I laugh as he shakes his head and rolls his eyes.

“Get dressed my love, I’ll go deal with him. Come down soon” He kisses my lips as power flood through me as I nod and leave the bathroom quickly as he points me to the room I had been in previously.

Hurt…Mate… my wolf growled as I snarled, my mate was dead, I just wished my wolf would shut up!

I quickly got dressed into some clothes that had been left out for me, black leather leggings with a deep red vest top and leather jacket…Not bad…I looked hot in it as I dried my hair and tied it up into a ponytail.

I walked down the corridor and back downstairs as I headed into the main lounge, which was still pretty dark, it seemed like they didn’t like too much light in here…

“You’re sure she has no idea…” Thomas whispered as I stopped half way down the hall.

“Of course not, you underestimate my power Thomas. She is MINE” I hear Sebastian snap.

No idea of what??

“Serena! Why are you lurking in the hall?” Elise smiles at me as she links my arm with hers and drags me the rest of the way to the lounge.

I glare at Thomas as he nudges Sebastian who smiles and walks up to me, kissing me.

“Are you ok?” He asks.

“Of course” I smile.

“She was standing in the hall, deep in thought by the looks of it” Elise says with a knowing look towards Sebastian as he frowns and kisses me again, I feel power radiate through my body.

“What were you thinking about my love?” He asks.

“Oh…I…Uh…I don’t remember” I mutter as I suddenly don’t remember what I was doing in the hall.

“Must be where you hit your head” Thomas murmurs.

“Must be” I mutter, nodding.

“Perhaps we need a little mission to distract your mind Serena” Elise smiles as she fans an envelope in her hand as I smile and snatch it from her.

I look at the paperwork inside as Sebastian holds me up to him as his hands slide under my vest top as he kisses my shoulder as I growl lustfully.

“Is this where my parents are being held?” I ask.

“No…but we think they know where they are…We can find out more from them” Elise smiles.

Looking into the paperwork I could see it was a small building, about 20 hunters, not many at all. This would be a walk in the park.

“When do we leave?” I ask.

“Half an hour. Grab something to eat while I set up the group” Elise says as she flits off in her heels.

“This is going to be easy” I roll my eyes with a smirk.

I turn and notice Thomas is glaring at us.

“There a problem Thomas?” I ask.

“Yes there is a problem, she was supposed to be both of ours!” Thomas snaps as I raise my eyebrows in surprise.

“You want to share her brother?” Sebastian smirks at him as he kisses my neck as I shiver.

“You know I do” He snarls, his fangs extending and his eyes glowing bright red as I gasp.

“Do you want that my love? To be shared by the both of us?” Sebastian says as he moves us forward, power flooding through me as they are both either side of me.

“I…I…” I mumble as power floods through me again as I moan out at Sebastian’s touch.

“We could have fun together little wolf” Sebastian nibbles my ear as my head tilts back.

“How about it?” Thomas smirks.

NO! My wolf screams but a push of power makes me ignore it.

“Yes” I moan as both men smirk.

“Good girl…Now as much as we would love to ravish you right now, we need to feed you before we leave. But when we return, you are ours” Thomas smirks before kissing my lips, his fang nipping my lip, causing a drop of blood to escape as he licks it from my lip as he moans.

They both led me into the kitchen, and I was made a breakfast of kings a plate filled with meat, eggs, hash browns and so much more as I groaned in delight.
