Chapter Sixteen

I was going to rip Sebastian to shreds…But I needed to play this carefully…If my parents were truly working with hunters…I had to do this carefully…I needed my family and their help.

I couldn’t take down this whole army of super naturals on my own…There was nearly 35 of us now and we were heading to get more…

“How close are we to the new recruits?” I smile at Sebastian as he looks into my eyes.

“Mile or so” He answers.

“Then let’s go, the quicker we get there the quicker we get this done and we can have some fun” I wink as I shift, and he seems content with my answer as he follows us.

“Daniel…You there?” I try to link.

“Serena! What happened?” He asks.

“Sebastian got control again…It won’t happen again…I hope…”

“How?”

“A guardian helped me” I reply.

“You saw it…The guardian…Woah…That’s woah…” He says and I want to laugh.

“Daniel, there’s an army of us coming to the headquarters, you need to warn them…”

“We’re already there…We’ve been working on it already, just in case” He says.

“Here we are” Elise smirks as we enter another huge field which held hundreds of tents and hundreds of people.

“Oh shit” I murmur to Daniel.

“What Serena?!” He exclaims.

“If you let me in” he answers as I focus on letting him in through my eyes.

“You look a little shocked little wolf” Sebastian smirks as I shift to my human form.

“I am…I didn’t think there would be so many” I look around as he takes my hand, power surging through me as I try to push it back as much as I can.

“It’s great isn’t it? A whole army, we will take them by storm Serena. We will be free” Elise smiles as she tilts my head with her long fingernail.

“And who has control?” I murmur.

“We do my love, this is our army” Sebastian smirks as he kisses my neck, I want to growl at him, my wolf is pacing in my head, wanting to rip his throat out.

“Then let’s go meet this army” I nod as we step into the throngs of people, a mix of vampires, wolves, and magic wielders.

“Alpha” A few wolves bow to me as I could feel the power behind my eyes, if I looked now, I think they would be bright purple.

“My god, her eyes!” Another wolf gasps as I smirk, oh yeah they were bright purple right now.

“Are they part of a pack? Or are they rogues?” I ask.

“Rogues, but they will submit to you if you take them” Sebastian answers.

That could work…Build our army from the inside…more help…Loyal to us…

I try to hide my smirk as I shift into my wolf as the wolves around me step back and bow in submission.

“Submit to me and only me! You will be my pack and answer to me!” I growl as I step towards them.

“What is she doing?” Sebastian asks Elise.

“She’s making her pack…Making them submit to her…” Elise smirks as I tilt my head at her, she thinks I’m doing this for them…She couldn’t be more wrong…

“I will never bow to a female alpha” A large male rogue stomps up to me as a deep guttural growl comes from me as I snarl at him.

“You WILL submit” I growl as I stand tall.

“Never” He growls as he pounces on me as we are thrown into a battle as our teeth snap at each other as everyone moves out of our way.

“Enough!” Sebastian snarls as he goes to help me.

“NO…Leave them! Let her show her power” Elise orders him with a smile as I grab the scruff of the males neck, shaking it from side to side as I cling to him with my claws as he whimpers trying to get out my grip.

“Submit or die!” I growl.

“I’d rather die!” He snarls as he kicks me off but he’s weak, I overpower him and rip his throat out as he falls to the ground with a thud, blood pooling around him.

“Does anyone else wish to challenge me?” I growl as my eyes dart around me, but more wolves bow down in front of me, their eyes wide that I was so much stronger than the male.

“Submit to your Alpha! Alpha Serena!” Elise shouts.

One by one each wolf crawls to me as we link minds, my pack becoming bigger and bigger.

A few had refused, wanting to stay as rogues.

“Alpha Serena…” A young female wolf pads up to me.

“Yes?” I turn to her.

“My name is Liv I want to say I support you in any way.” She says as I tilt my head.

“Good…What do you think of this whole situation?” I ask through my link just to her as Sebastian comes to my side, his hand in my fur as I feel his power surge through me as I nuzzle into his side but still regain my own consciousness.

“I don’t like it Alpha Serena…I was born of a pack, but it was torn apart by vampires, not hunters…They’ve done no harm to me” She replies, and I can feel the truth in her words.

“Good, do not trust anyone here…You stay by me. You do not tell ANYONE my plans. Stay loyal to me as your alpha”

“Yes Alpha…What are your plans?” She asks.

“Serena, we have things to do…Shift” Sebastian orders as I huff and shift back to my human form.

Liv shifts too as I see she’s a small girl, dainty, blonde, about my age.

“Liv…I have no plans to kill the hunters…I’m taking down Sebastian and Elise’s army…” I say through our link. Her eyes go wide as Sebastian looks between us suspiciously.

“What?” He snaps.

“I…Uh…Got a little heated in my head…I might have accidently shared that…” I pretend to look embarrassed as Sebastian links his arms around me and kisses me deeply.

OH my! The pain that flooded through me as he kissed me, I had to hold back from hissing. If Craig was feeling this…My poor mate…

“Sebastian! Put the alpha down! We need to plan!” Elise shouts angrily as he sighs and pushes a surge of power through me.

“Let’s go” He says pulling me with him.

“Liv…See what you can find out about the other wolves that submitted to me. See if they will be loyal…” I link to her.

“Yes alpha” She nods.

“Thank you Liv” I smile.

“Oh…Uh…” She blushes, it was like no other alpha had said thank you before…I suppose they were always so controlling. But I would never be like that…It was time for a new kind of pack.

At least I was down one monster, having ripped Thomas apart…That had felt so good to do.

“These are the blueprints for the warehouse, it delves deep, at least six floors that go into the ground. Bottom level is where they hold their prisoners. It’s surrounded with flood lights and guards, but we have word that they struggle at night, their eyes are not like ours, they cannot see us in the dark without their night vision goggles. So, our magic wielders will deal with stealing those. Then, we send in our vampires, they will take out the lights and the guard towers so the wolves can push through.

Serena you will lead the first wolf team through the front and take out the first floor. Sebastian and I will follow behind with our own teams and take out the next two as you make your way down.” Elise points to the blueprints as I nod trying to take in every detail.

They were sending me in first…They wanted me to die…I was sure of it…

They were planning to take this place by storm and leave nothing untouched, everyone would die and then they would start taking out the smaller groups. I could hear vampires close by talking about free range humans like they were livestock… It made me angry.

“Serena? Are you ok?” Sebastian says sending a new wave of power through me.

“Fine, just getting used to the chatter in my head” I growl. I was telling the truth, wolves in my new found pack were talking up a storm in their minds and I was connected to it all.

Luckily, I had found most of it being that they were shocked at how powerful I was and that some were nervous about the days ahead. It would seem most of the rogues had come from packs themselves, like Liv…That made it easier…

“Alpha, we have a problem out here!” Liv linked as I growled, shifting quickly I bolted out the huge tent we were in towards Liv.

“Where the hell are you going?!” Sebastian snaps as he and Elise follow curiously.

Up ahead I can see a small group of my new pack, surrounded by a group of very hungry looking vampires as I barged through them, growling in warning.

“What is this?!” Elise shouts angrily.

“They smell so good Miss Elise” One vampire moans as I step towards him, snarling.

I shift so they can hear me.

“If you touch any of my pack I will kill you myself” I growl.

“They are weak! We don’t need wolves! Miss Elise! She’s one of them! Just rid us of them and we’ll do this ourselves!” The vampire shouts at Elise.

“You will not harm the wolves Theo” Elise snaps at him.

“Watch me” He snarls before he begins to flit towards us as I shift and jump onto him, tearing at him, he shrieks in pain as we tumble across the ground as he slashes at my leg, but it’s too late for him as I tear his head from his shoulders, blood dripping through my teeth once more.

I face the other vampires as they look at me angrily, a few others begin to go towards me as Liv and a few of the other wolves back me up as we tear them limb from limb.

“ENOUGH!” Elise snaps as the vampires stand still, their heads bowed at her as I growl and order my own wolves to stop.

“Control your fucking vampires Elise or I WILL!” I growl as I shift back, covered in blood.

“Alpha!” One of the males behind me calls out as I turn and see Liv curled up on the ground, her arm bent the wrong way as I kneel beside her.

“Liv, I need to straighten it, or it will heal the wrong way. This is really going to hurt and I’m so sorry” I mumble quickly as she whimpers but nods.

I pull at her arm as she screams before passing out.

“What’s your name?” I ask the male in front of me.

“Oliver, Alpha” He answers.

“Oliver, take her to rest up…Take the others with you.” I order as he picks her up in his arms with a nod as he and the guys behind him follow, nodding to me in respect.

“The next person to harm my pack will meet the same fate Elise” I growl as she looks at me while Sebastian wanders up to my side. I was getting annoyed with the amount of his power I was having to resist…But I would push through…Somehow…

“They won’t do it again…Thomas was their leader they are a little miffed to say the least” She sighs.

“When do we leave for the take down?” I ask as we head back to the tent.

“Tomorrow evening, we will rest up in the day” Elise answers.

“Fine, while the vampires sleep in the day my pack will take turns to hunt and watch the perimeter” I says.

“What of my kind?” Sebastian frowns.

“Rest up…Practice…I don’t care…How many of them are there?” I ask.

“Eight” He answers. I nod.

“Including you?” I ask.

“No” He shakes his head.

“Have them keep an eye on the vampires, I won’t have them attacking my pack” I say as Elise huffs and I growl at her.

“Ok! That’s fine!” She raises her hands as I smirk.

“I need to check on Liv…” I say as Sebastian nods and kisses my lips.

Pain fills me once more.

“I’m so sorry Craig…I’m coming…I will take away the pain” I murmur in my mind, but I can’t feel him, it’s like I was still blocked from him… I think parts of Sebastian’s power were still working.

I head towards the edge of the grounds as I go towards the tents that were now flooded with those that had become my pack.

“Alpha” The bow and nod at me as I get to the tent with Oliver and Liv inside.

“How are you Liv?” I ask as I notice her sitting up, wincing a little still.

“I’m ok…It’s nearly healed” She smiles sweetly.

“Good…” I smile.

“Alpha…The boys want to know what the plan is…” Oliver murmurs.

“Well…Elise will have the magic wielders take out the guards out front with a few vampires, then we will go in and take out the first floor…They will then surge in behind us” I begin telling Elise’s plan before I smirk and talk to them via our mind links.

“The REAL plan is, we need to take out as many of these fuckers tomorrow. Hunters are not trying to kill us…I don’t know the full story, but they are working with my parents, who are very powerful pack leaders in their own right. Sebastian and Elise are trying to destroy every human there is and use them as livestock…I will not have that…No matter how much I hate some humans, they don’t deserve it. Now if I find ANY of you betraying me, just know, you will die” I growl powerfully as I see their eyes widen at my purple eyes.

“Yes alpha” I feel the surge of agreement through our links. My pack were behind me fully.

“Daniel…Are you there?” I try to link to him.

“Yes…” He answers, but it’s weak.

“I have a pack…We’re still here and the attack is tomorrow evening” I begin to push through the plan that had been discussed earlier.

“We won’t be there…It will be empty…Fight in the field…” he says before I feel his link disappear.

“Shit” I growl in my mind.

“Rest up, the fight is coming to us tomorrow” I order through to everyone in the pack.

I walked out the tent and shifted as I padded about the grounds I could hear a few wolves follow me.

“What are you doing?” I growl.

“Protecting you alpha” One bows down on their front paws.

“Wolf scum” I hear snarled out behind me as I turn slowly, growling.

“They shouldn’t be trusted” another vampire snaps as their red eyes glow.

“That’s quite enough boys” Elise saunters up and stands between us as I shift.

“They don’t trust me” I growl.

“They don’t have to trust you. Just me” She snaps.

“Shame you seem to have no control of them Elise” I snap as I sense one of them darting around us to catch us from behind.

Mid leap I shift as I grab hold of the vampires arm, ripping it from its socket as a few of the others finish the job.

“If you keep destroying my vampires we will have no army!” Elise shouts angrily.

“Then control them! I will not have my pack hurt because you cannot control your…pets” I snarl as her eyes turn bright red.

“Control your wolves, send them home and I’ll make sure my men are controlled. Go to Sebastian” She snaps as I growl and push past her.

“Keep together, take turns on watch. Alert me if needed” I link to the wolves as I hear them snort in agreement as they head back to the tents.
