Was Brittany trying to make Finn fall for her again?
Sydney snorted and stalked over to Brittany.
“Brittany, you actually showed up?”
Brittany was quietly talking to Hannah by the pool. They stopped when they heard Sydney.
“It was Patrina who invited me.”
Brittany crossed her arms, giving Sydney a sidelong glance. “Can you speak for the Dustin family?”
Sydney hadn’t expected Brittany to be still so defiant.
“Brittany. How does it feel to be at your ex’s engagement party? Finn has given Patrina so many gifts, are you heartbroken?”
Sydney was deliberately provoking Brittany. She wanted Brittany to see how unimportant she was to Finn!
Upon hearing this, Hannah threw a drink in Sydney’s face, “What’s it to you? Sydney, stop bullying Bri in Patrina’s name. I’m warning you; I know what you’ve been up to at VelvetGlow. If you don’t want to cross the Chester family, you better behave!”
Hannah had been holding back for a long time. Sydney had been using her power to bully people and had forced Brittany out of the company. Hannah had wanted to teach her a lesson for a while.
Brittany hadn’t expected Hannah to fight back, and held her back. “Hannah.”
Hannah comforted her, “It’s okay. I have my brother’s support. Who would dare to touch me?”

Brittany could tolerate Sydney targeting her, but she couldn’t stand her insulting Hannah! She grabbed Sydney’s hand, her eyes filled with anger, “Sydney, apologize!”
“Hahaha…” Sydney laughed as if she’d heard a very funny joke, “Brittany, have you gone mad? Why should I apologize?”

Brittany applied some pressure to Sydney’s hand. Sydney felt the pain and saw the pool behind

“Bri, watch out!”
“Splash!”
Hannah cried out in surprise. Brittany dodged Sydney’s hand, and Sydney lost her balance and fell into the pool!
Water splashed everywhere!
“Help!”
Sydney couldn’t swim either and was in an embarrassing situation. She was floundering in the water, her mascara smeared all over her face, and her tears mixed with the water.
The next second, someone jumped into the pool and saved Sydney. Brittany hadn’t expected things to turn out like this. She stood there, stunned.
William had saved Sydney. Sydney was crying in his arms, “William, it was Brittany. Brittany did it on purpose.”
The girls around them immediately chimed in.
“Mr. Dillion, we all saw Brittany pushing Ms. Ramsey.
“That’s right. Ms. Ramsey is so kind, and Brittany has always been against her. She shouldn’t
be here!*
Hannah rolled her eyes in annoyance, ready to lash out.
They were just a bunch of followers. How could they possibly understand right from wrong? All they cared about was how much they could benefit from Sydney!
The commotion by the pool caught the attention of Mr. and Mrs. Dustin. They walked over with serious faces and started blaming Brittany without reason.
“Brittany, are you causing trouble again? Will you only be satisfied after you’ve completely disgraced your family?”
Robert was so angry he couldn’t control himself. He shouldn’t have let Brittany come here!
Hannah couldn’t believe it. She knew Brittany was in a tough spot, but she hadn’t realized it was this bad! Without asking any questions, Robert put all the blame on Brittany. Was this really her own father?
Brittany was used to his attitude.
Robert seemed to be provoked and suddenly slapped her.
“Mr. Dustin.”
