Without a second thought, Leah defended her daughter, “Allison, who invited you to the Flanagan family. You’re not welcome here!” 

“I didn’t want to come here, just give me back the necklace. Allison said. 

“What necklace? Leah looked at her daughter. 

Penelope lifted her face, still marked with a slap, “Mom, it’s a token from Lucian, our token from when we first got together. Allison stole it and wants to use it to threaten me. She’s trying to seduce Lucian! Every woman in Northfield wants to marry into the Lindberg family, and Allison is no different. She barged into our house today to steal it. Dad didn’t help me. “Leah, you’ve got it all wrong” Christopher didn’t know what to say. 

The necklace was a family heirloom from his mother, which he gave to Grace while they were together. They were close to getting married back then. He gave the necklace to Grace the first time they slept together, saying it was for their future child. 

But how could he let Leah know about this? If she found out, wouldn’t she make a scene?
