He sighed deeply and said, “Leah, I’ll explain this to you later, but this necklace is indeed Allison’s. Let Penelope give it back to her.” 

Penelope was adamant. “Mom, this is my keepsake from Lucian. It’s the engagement token he gave me when we were together. How could Allison have dad siding with her like this?” 

Naturally, Leah backed her daughter, “Christopher, what’s your deal?” She pointed at him, “Are you dead set on helping Allison today? As long as I’m here, this necklace belongs to Penelope and no one can take it away! Christopher, if you dare, divorce me!”

Because of you, my father and brother Ricky died in a car accident.
