“If he says anything strange to you, just ignore him!" Ranita apologized as she looked at Steve. "I'm sorry for causing you trouble.”

"Well then I'm off!" Ranita waved at him before heading towards the hotel when she noticed a familiar car parked beside her.

The car door opened, revealing a pair of straight and slender legs stepping out. The neatly tailored suit accentuated the unmistakably tall and well-built figure, with broad shoulders and a narrow waist. Combined with that face, which seemed to be favored by the creator, just one glance was enough to make hearts flutter.

"Brendon?" Steve greeted him while Brendon's attention fell directly onto Ranita as he asked coldly, "Steve, why are you with Ranita?”

"Oh my! Steve, and look who's here, Ranita! What a coincidence!" Just then, Shannon cheerfully stepped out of the car, linking arms with Brendon, and with a beaming smile, she asked Steve, "Steve, are you and Ranita getting romantically involved?"
