"Going out for dinner and a date, and even driving her here, you guys have such a great relationship!" Shannon exclaimed.

Steve chuckled lightly in response, "My relationship with Ranita hasn't developed to that point yet.” Shannon immediately seized on the key words and tried to stir up some trouble, but Brendon interrupted her coldly, "Time's up, let's go upstairs.”

Ranita couldn't take it anymore and interrupted her, “Miss Murphy, I don't need your concern! And if you can't understand plain language, maybe go back to elementary school.”

"Shannon, stop pretending while Brendon isn't here!" Ranita snapped before storming off. Shannon watched Ranita's slender figure, her eyes filled with a cold glint. How was Ranita so lucky?
