Marcellus thumped his desk in annoyance. He looked at the file folder in front of him with a complicated look. It contained the documents that were supposed to be used against Michael. 

Now, Michael had been transferred. It seemed that these documents were no longer useful, at least for the time being. 

He quickly picked up the phone and made a call. However, no one answered the phone after a while. It continued to ring until there was no response. 

Marcellus cursed inwardly, “That damned woman! What’s wrong with her? She acts like a meek kitten most of the time. I can’t believe she mocked me during our quarrel that night. Otherwise, our marriage wouldn’t have ended so quickly.” 

Once the divorce agreement was signed, Aurelia disappeared for five to six consecutive days. Marcellus didn’t know where she had gone. Furthermore, she also didn’t pick up his calls.
