Leila.

The camp is ending today and I've been bickering with Clayton since morning and I'm getting frustrated.

"I have to go back home, so I can tell my parents about you and tell them a proper goodbye before going with you. Why are you making things difficult? Have you ever seen any child who met their mate and just followed them without saying goodbye to their family? You don't want me to introduce you to my parents? You promised me remember? " I ask feeling exhausted from all the arguments.

"Ok. I give you two days. Not a single one more, " he grumbles finally giving in.

I pull my face up and say a thank you to whoever made him give in.

I peck his lips but he holds my face and deepens the kiss.

I got up yesterday evening feeling slightly different. I realized I didn't just feel different, but I also looked different. I almost didn't recognize myself when I took in my reflection in the mirror in Clayton's room. I was breathtaking. My eyes were even lighter in color but brighter with a permanent glint in them. My lips were pinker and fuller. I was taller, toner, and had a more pronounced hourglass shape. My butts were rounder and my boobs slightly bigger, a full C cup. I looked younger and smoother.

Clayton has been clingy since I got up. Holding me, kissing, nibbling, caressing every inch of my body he could get his hands on. I played coy and made annoyed sounds but I couldn't get enough of him myself. I had to though, if I ever wanted to go back and say bye to my parents. If he saw just how badly I wanted him too, I am pretty certain he would use his body to seduce me into giving in to him. I had a feeling he knew but wanted me to have this last request even as he groaned and protested.

"Remember, our mind-link is stronger than that of wolves and is effective even in long distances. Call me if anything, I mean anything at all happens and I will come to you right away, " he says pressing his forehead against mine and I can feel Zeus getting agitated.

I know they are worried about me given what they went through, and I feel guilty that I have to make them go through this stress, but saying goodbye to my parents is the least I can do. I also want to introduce my mate to my adoptive parents. I can only do that when he will come to take me away.

I am not thrilled to go back there, don't get me wrong, not when it entails me leaving Clayton, but I'd do anything for Alpha Jacob and Luna Katie.

The attitude of my pack members has greatly changed since they learned who my mate is. Everybody knows not to cross Clayton the wrong way. I giggle when I think back at their reaction when I stepped out after my transformation. Even mated males couldn't stop drooling to Clayton's dismay.

The four-hour drive back to the Colorado pack is quiet and peaceful. I no longer receive disgusting glances, and they no longer throw dimming words at me. Some even smile my way. I caught two girls doing so and I returned their smile. They looked so happy that I smiled at them. It's crazy. I also think that the energy surrounding me has a lot to do with why they were cautious not to give me their usual disgusted gazes. Good.

I look when we reach the pack house and Alpha Jacob and Luna Katie are out, waiting for us.

I walk to them once I'm out of the bus and give each a bear hug. I laugh at their stunned face when they take me in. Inspecting me like a lab specimen. I giggle when I realize I'm truly a new species to them.

"I missed you so much, baby. How was it? " Luna Katie asks me and I smile telling her I found my mate.

I see their mouths drop from the boom I just released on them and an understanding but still confused look crosses their faces at my new appearance.

"Pardon, what? " Luna Katie squeals so loud, once she comes out of her shocked state and both Alpha Jacob and I cover our ears.

"Omg, baby. Who is it? Do we know him?" She asked excitedly.

"Yes Mom, you know him. It's Alpha Clayton of the Dark Moon Pack," I am met with silence as they both look at me like they are seeing me for the first time. Not that they had looked at me any differently since I appeared before them.

"That is wonderful..." Luna Katie cries out in joy. "Our little princess will finally be with someone who will appreciate and love her. Everyone knows how much he loves and cherishes his mate. I am happy for both of you. The moon goddess has given you a second mate. If only my son had a little sense in him..." She ends her happy speech with a grumble and a frown.

"I am going to miss you so much, Leila. When is he coming to take you?" She says sadly embracing me and I can't help the tears that flow down my cheeks. I'm going to miss them too.

"In two days," I reply softly and she nods with a small sad smile.

"Ok. Here, both of you stop. She is mated, not dead. She can always come visit and we could always go and visit her if there is no problem with that," Alpha Jacob says and I laugh with a tear-stained face.

"Of course, I'll visit and you can come visit. You could even come stay." I say happily.

"So we now have a new destination for when we take a vacation," Luna Katie says all smiles, and I'm happy that the news went this well.

"Tell me. How is he?" Luna Katie asks and she is immediately cut off by the alpha who demands that she lets me have some rest after being away for so long and the tiring journey.

We continue chatting as we get into the pack house. After eating some fruit I go to my old room, take a bath and go to sleep.

I am woken by loud voices booming throughout the pack house. I hurriedly go down and notice the voices are coming from the alpha's office.

I approached worried that there might be a serious problem because this had never happened before.

I stop dead on my track when I hear Alpha John say 'he doesn't accept my mating with Clayton because I am his. His mate,"

I am not disappointed when alpha Jacob and Luna Katie rain insults on him for how childish and stupid he is. Choosing a selfish and narcissistic person like Viviane over me. Since he thinks he is more intelligent than the moon goddess for contesting the mate she granted him, let him deal with his choices.

I had been so proud of my parents before, but now... I mean, they have proven time and time again their love and unconditional support for me. At this instance, my heart swelled with love for them even more and I didn't think that was possible when I heard Luna Katie say in a strong and uncompromising tone that Clayton is a hundred times better for me than him.

I always knew this guy was a joke, but he has officially won the award. "Congratulations Alpha John. Congratulations on your never-ending pettiness," I say clapping in my mind
