I have been having a blast for the past two days seeing Alpha John trying to impress me. He is always in my space, wanting to talk, etc. It is funny seeing him disregard his Luna for me. Yesterday, for example, Luna Katie sent me on an errand and he volunteered to come with me while Viviane was sitting right next to him.

I declined without a second thought or hesitation. I would have wished to use this opportunity to really teach Viviane a lesson but I am a Lycan, and my mate is a Lycan, if you think werewolves are possessive then you have never met a Lycan before.

As if on cue, my parents come out, followed by John and Viviane. John and Viviane do not have a choice but to welcome an Alpha in their territory. The look on John's face though when he sees my disheveled appearance haha.

Clayton and I walk towards my parents and the alpha couple as I do my best to fix my dress and hair, praying my face has somewhat become normal. I am wearing a mid-thigh yellow sun dress with spaghetti straps and a pair of sandals. The blemish skin of my face is free from any makeup.

"Clayton, welcome to our home," my mom beams at my man giving me a wink. Oh, she finds him hot... I chuckle to myself and wink back at her.

He is a little taken aback and I know Zeus doesn't like the disrespect. Stripping his title from Lycan to Alpha was already a great deal and now calling his name without even the Alpha title must be hard.

I tighten my hold on his hand, and he instantly relaxes.

"Thank you Luna the pleasure is mine..." Mon cuts him off immediately.

"Nonsense. For this big guy and I, it is mom and dad, Leave the alpha and Luna thing to those two," she says motioning to John and Viviane.

I never thought carrying the titles of Alpha and Luna could be an insult, but today, I know better.

After we are all done with introductions, we move in to enjoy all that Mom prepared. A feast.

My parents were so overjoyed seeing how Clayton paid attention to me and treated me like a princess not caring who saw his display of affection and I was just as enamored with him.

"Now, I can sleep with my two eyes closed and not worry about you. You have someone who will cherish you as much as we do if not more," Dad says nonchalantly, but I tear up because it is the first time if ever said anything like that. His nonchalant voice doesn't fool me one bit. It is him expressing his love for me. Mom and I beamed at him while he grumbled under his breath.

I turn to Clayton when I feel him give a gentle squeeze to my arm and the look of pure love and adoration he gives me, draws a single tear from my eye, which he leans in and kisses away pressing his forehead to mine with a dazzling smile.

I don't know what I did to deserve a man like him, but I'm eternally grateful.
