Chapter 13

Ares POV

Achilles and I walked out of the cabin together. “Finally, I thought I needed to start blowing the house down.” Apollo snickered with a big smirk on his face. Achilles growled a bit while he shifted uncomfortably next to me. “What do you want Apollo?” my lack of patience straining my voice. “Well,” Apollo said, leaning against the nearest tree crossing his arms. “Mother sent me... she said, if the three of you don’t return immediately, she wants me to burn down... what the word she used... oh yes... the whores shed.”

Achilles gave out a loud roar while he loaded the shotgun and pointed it at Apollo. “Achilles, wait!” I urged him “Yeah... wait, little mutt!” Apollo joked, lifting his hands defensively up in front of him. “We will leave, there is no need for anyone to get hurt.” I pleaded, moving in front of Achilles.

I guided Achilles back into the cabin, not wanting World War III to break out. Both Achilles and Apollo are strong wolves and they will end up killing each other. “We’re leaving,” I said to Thalia and Athena. “Why? What is happening?” Thalia and Athena asked in sync. “My mother knows that we are here,” I answered. “Athena and I will shift into our wolves and I will carry you on my back ο άγγελός μου (my angel). I don’t think it is wise for you to shift into your wolf. It might attract the wrong attention.”

We said our goodbyes to Rhea and Achilles when Ares and Athena shifted into their exquisite wolves. Ares laid down for me to climb on top of him. I fisted his soft black fur between my fingers, trying to balance myself on Ares’s back. Ares slowly got up and trotted steadily so I don’t fall off his back. I laid forward, snuggling into Ares fur, taking in his pleasant scent.

“Are you enjoying yourself?” Ares asked laughing through our mind link. I could feel him giving me a wolfly smirk. With a laugh, I answered him. “Yes, who would have thought that I would be the one riding you first.” I giggled, feeling my cheeks flush. ”Oh, my ο άγγελός μου (my angel). Just wait until I have you back in my room.” He vowed. I gasped feeling the wet arousal in my panties.

We arrived back at the pack house when Ares took my hand pulling me to his room. Before anyone can stop us.

Ares locked the door behind him, and I pulled him into my arms, kissing him hard while my hands went into his hair, pulling it slightly, while a groan escapes his lips. I felt myself needing him more than ever.

Apollo POV

I walked into my room and laid back on my bed, my head has been pounding, and my wolf is not really responding today only whining now and then. Normally Zayev doesn’t shut up, he rarely gives me my peace of mind.

I felt my mother trying to mind link me again and with a sigh, I let her through. “Apollo? Will you answer me for once?! Are they back?” my mother asked, clearly already annoyed with me. With another deep sigh, I decided to answer her “Yes mother” “Come see me in my office” she ordered me.

I shut my eyes for a moment, pondering the thought of becoming a rogue, just to escape my crazy family for once, but I hate their disgusting smell.

I might as well get this over with before she starts yelling again. I thought to myself while I got up from my bed.

Aphrodite POV

“Apollo? Are they back?” I asked Apollo again, still no answer. He has been gone for almost an hour to retrieve them from that whores’ house, and now he is ignoring me. I am struggling to take control of him, and he is always late, taking his time with everything.

“Apollo? Will you answer me for once?! Are they back?” I asked again, feeling the mind link going through. After a short pause he finally answers me “Yes mother”, I took a deep breath, trying to control my anger and my wolf, who is demanding to skin him alive for disobeying us. “Come see me in my office” I ordered, knowing it will take him forever to arrive in my office. I sat back on my chair, taking a deep breath while going over my plans. This need to work... It is my last resort... Father would be disappointed in me if I fail this time. Years of training and planning and it is finally happening… I thought to myself.

“My luna,” Sidney mind linked me. “Yes, Sidney” “Madeline is here for your 9 o’clock meeting.” Sidney announced, “Send her in.”

A light knock came to my office door and before I could answer Madeline walks in. “Aphrodite!” Madeline chimes “Madeline, thank you from coming on such short notice.” I said with a small smile while I straighten my back and gestured for her with my hand take a seat.

Madeline took the seat in front of my desk while placing her hands neatly on her lap. “So, why did you need to see me so urgently?” she asked with a bright smile. “Unfortunately, I have some dreadful news, I know I promised you the luna position for the pack. But Ares recently found his mate.” Madeline shifts uncomfortably in her chair, her face turning a bit red out of anger. “Oh” is simply all she said. “But don’t fear my dear, I have a plan. You will still be Alpha of this pack. You will just not be mated to Ares.” I said with a cunning smile. Madeline’s posture relaxed.

“Who then do you have in mind?” she asked intrigued in my plan I have for her. I gave her a big smile. Father has trained her well. “My plan is my dear for you to mate with my other son, Apollo. But first, we have to resolve the current issue.” I stood up from my chair and walked around my desk, standing in front of Madeline.

“I need you to help me to... dispose of Ares mate. I will consult with Apollo and I know that he will take care of Ares.” Madeline stood up from her seat giving me a big smile “Of course I will help you.” “You will have to be careful. Ares has marked her already. To my knowledge, they haven’t fully mated, and she is also a newly shifted werewolf,” I walk over to the table pouring us some drinks “Apparently she never knew that she carries the werewolf gene.” I snickered “She never knew?” Madeline laughed. “Yes,” I answered joining her laughter.

“How will we take care of Apollo? You surely don’t think he will just hand over the Alpha position to me?” Madeline asked while taking her drink from me. I took a sip of the brown liquor before answering her. “Before I was mated to Zeus, my father had his pack’s tribal witch taught me some spells and potions.” I paused taking another sip of the brown liquor. “And one of the potions was how to take control of someone’s mind. Just before Zeus marked me, I slipped him a potion and since then I have been controlling him. I have also tried to potion on Ares, but it never seems to work, but it does work on Apollo.” I explained “After Ares and Apollo’s birth I found a new potion that is powerful and dangerous. It turns the person who takes it into a vegetative state, but it only works on werewolves who haven’t found their true mate. Zeus found his true whore of a mate and that is why I failed to take over this pack as the Alpha. I couldn’t get rid of Zeus.” I explained

Madeline left after we briefly discussed the plan the dispose of Ares’s mate. All that is now left is to inform my father I thought with a smile. I took my phone in my hand while I looked at my office door. I know that Apollo won’t show up for another 20 minutes if not more. With that in mind, I started to dial my fathers’ number.

Apollo POV

On my way to my mother’s office, I stopped by the kitchen grabbing myself a soda. When I approached my mother’s office, I heard her speaking to someone. I leaned against the wall next to her door waiting for her to finish with her meeting, not really interested in her conversation until I heard my name, sometimes the werewolf senses are a gift and also a curse. Now intrigued in the conversation, I leaned in listening

Before I could react, I heard my mother talking again. My wolf gave a small growl, Ares and I might not get along, but my wolf and I are loyal to our Alpha.

My head was spinning with all the information. She has been controlling me all along. What the fuck is wrong with her? She is supposed to be our mother. I heard movement in my mother’s office and I quickly moved around the corner, not wanting to be spotted eavesdropping on my mother. The door opened and a perky blonde walked out. I watched her intensely whilst she makes her way down the hallway to the outside of the pack house. I waited a few minutes before I started to slowly creep back to my mother’s office door.

She was still talking to someone, only know I don’t hear anyone with her in the office, only my mothers’ voice and her steady heartbeat. She ’must be on the phone. I thought to myself. “Yes, father,” my mother said, proving my theory right. My grandfather... Abaddon? Must be... he is my only living grandparent and he is the meanest old fart I have ever met. Even if I only met the man twice in my life, he could put chills through your spine just by staring at you with his cold emotionless eyes. What is she scheming with him? My thoughts ran wild inside my head.

“Ares has found and mated his true mate, and according to my sources she is a white wolf.” My mother chimed “You will be pleased to know father that all is going according to our plan. I have recruited Madeline like you suggested. She has agreed with our plan and will capture Thalia, as soon as Ares leaves her site. I will have Apollo take care of Ares and also that filthy whore and her bastard son.” She discloses her plan. She wants to kill us all? The thought almost made me growl out loud with anger.

“Off coarse father. The white wolf will be yours to kill. I know you have been waiting for this opportunity for decades now. See you soon, father.” I heard her ending her call. Thalia... I felt my heart race in my chest. Must be. I thought. I need to stop this from happening but going to father is out of the question. I can’t trust him... mother might still be controlling his mind... and Ares will not believe me... not without help.

I took a few seconds to calm myself completely. When I enter her office, I need to stay cool.

I knocked on her door and entered before I could be invited inside. She stared at me with her ice-cold eyes, showing me no love or affection, nothing like a real mother does. She gestured her hand at me to sit and I did as she ordered. “You took your time, again” she acknowledged coldly. “Sorry mother, I was hungry” I lied. She continued staring at me. “I found you a mate. And the two of you will mate soon and then rule this pack as alphas.” She announced. “What about Ares?” I asked, already knowing the answers. She smiled coldly “Find a way to get him away from his precious mate,” she said whilst serving us each a drink, I took the drink from her with no intention to drink it. “and then you shall kill him....” She looked at me, searching for any type of emotion “Ok” I smiled, and it is all I could say while I stood up from my chair making my way to the door. “Oh, and Apollo?” she called after me, I turned facing her “Please also take care of the filth living outside OUR pack lands.” She ordered. “With pleasure mother” I devilishly smiled.
