The Last White Wolf
Chapter 3

I woke up with the beeping sound of my alarm on my phone. Its 6 am, time to get a move on. I got up and ate a muesli bar and drank some water. Once I was done with my ‘breakfast’, I got dressed in my grey shorts, a purple shirt and my hiking boots. I packed my stuff and was off for my next hiking adventure. Today I will hike for another 7 - 8 hours before I will reach my last camp. I walked into the forest following the trail. I felt nervous... like someone or something was watching me. I brushed it off because I am alone in the forest.

I was hiking for about 3 hours now when I decided to take a break and drink some water. I found a small opening and sat down on the ground. I suddenly heard some twigs snapping. I turned to where the sound came from, but I couldn’t see anything. I decided to get up from the ground and moved back to the trail when suddenly I heard a low growl from my side. I froze and slowly turned my head to the growling animal.

The shock came over me when I saw the wolf. It was enormous, guessing by the size of a horse. It had brown shaggy fur and red bloodshot eyes and drool was gushing out of its mouth. The wolf was growling even loader now. And I saw two move wolves appear on his sides.

Terror was running through my body, instinct kicked in and I started to run. I was running as fast as I can. Trying to avoid fallen trees and branches. I could hear the wolfs behind me getting closer and closer. My legs were burning as I pushed myself even harder. Running for life.

The trees around me were clearing and I have reached a high cliff. I was trapped. The wolves surrounded me, and I thought to myself, is this really how my short life will end... I have hardly lived... Tears were starting to stream down my face.

There was a loud howl coming from the trees and the three red-eyed wolves were startled. Out of the treeline, an enormous charcoal coloured wolf appeared, with even more wolves behind him. The wolves started to run towards the three red-eyed wolves. The one huge red-eyed wolf turned and snarled towards the fast approaching wolves. The big charcoal wolf gave a load raging howl and then started to attack the red-eyed wolves.

The charcoal wolf jumped on to the huge red-eyed wolf closest to me, the red-eyed wolf tried to snap at the charcoal wolf but failed. The charcoal wolf bit into the red-eyed wolfs neck and ripped his throat out. The rest of the other wolves killed the remaining red-eye wolves.

I stood frozen, watching the horrific events happening in front of my eyes.

After the wolves killed the red-eyed wolves, they turned to me. The charcoal wolf was staring at me like he was deciding if he should kill me or leave me. My whole body was shivering with fear, and I know they can sense the fear on me. A big brown wolf next to the charcoal wolf was approaching me, growling, when the charcoal wolf suddenly snarled at him. The brown wolf whined and was lying down on the ground revealing his neck while bowing his head.

The charcoal wolf was moving towards me, I couldn’t move. Tears were still falling from my eyes.

Then suddenly the charcoal wolf started to change... I heard a bone-cracking sound. And the charcoal wolf changed into a man... a very naked handsome young man... The man was very muscular and looked very strong, fierce and it is definitely very sexy. He is a very tall man, around 1.79m. His square jaw gave him a real bad boy look. His rose-coloured cheeks were charming. He gave me a cheeky smile and it was just adorable. In addition to his natural handsomeness, his eyes... they were blue as ice, one thing is sure, he has great eyes. He has long messy brown hair like he has been running his fingers’ through his hair all day. He is attractive and but also very mysterious.

The young attractive man slowly started to approach me. I wasn’t sure if I should run or fall into his very muscled arms. “σύντροφος! είσαι καλά?” the young man said, his deep voice was like velvet to my ears, sending tingles through my spine. My body was still shaking with fear, and my brain trying to process what just happened in front of me. It felt like the earth is spinning and everything was going black... the darkness consumed me as I fainted.
