It was the twilight of the following day when Lydia had given her daughter Nina some old herbs to give to luca to finish him off. She had decided that the only person who could identify Nina was Luca and if so then she would have to keep that from happening. She had to get rid of Luca at all costs and she didn't mind using her daughter to do it. She had told her of how important it was to them to get the sacred plant. She knew her way around the palace as she had practically lived there. She had to get rid of Luca not just for herself but her coven. He could not recover to give her away. Lydia who had gotten some leaves from the sacred plant had scurried away when she heard the commotion and saw her daughter being taken to the palace by Lucian. “Damn that wolf. He will pay for this with his life. I will end his line once and for all.” She knew that she cold not help her daughter but at least she got a few leaves. Just enough for the potion that they needed to set their plan in motion.

Lucian put Luna to lay down on the bed next to Luca and the Alpha prince took them to the sacred plant in the garden upon the request of the tribe seer and healer. They had realized that the garden had been penetrated by magic and so a council meeting was called. Lucian remained with his daughter until they were both awake. They were however still very weak. The plant had healing qualities and was remarkable. The healer said that the poison that they were given should have killed them both yet still because of their strong spirits and the potence of the sacred plant they had been spared from the clutches of death.

The meeting conveyed to find out what Nina Knew and how to deal with her. Her adopted parents were beside themselves and asked to be excused from the proceedings. They had asked to deal with her as the counsel saw it fit as they had renounced her as a child of theirs. The meeting conveyed and Nina was put on the stand and allowed to plead her case and explain however she showed no remorse and told them how her mother and coven was going to be the end of them.

Knowing now that the plant had been compromised and that Nina had tried to kill his son and Luna the judgement was death by the hunt. She was released and hunted by the Lucas packmates. She was ripped to shreds and her remains were burned. The wolves growled with contentment that she was killed for what she had done.
