“What’s going on here?!” Lisa pushed through the crowd. She sna tched the bottle from Celine’s hand and pushed the people surrounding her.

“B*tch, where did you come from?” A young man with dyed white hair and a diamond necklace was about to slap Lisa across the face, but Lisa grabbed his wrist and threw it aside.

Celine sta ggered a few steps, and Lisa quickly steadied her. “Celine, are you okay?”

“I’m fine.” Celine grimaced, clutching her stomach in pain. “Lisa, don’t worry about me. Just go.

“How can I leave you like this? What happened?” Lisa’s heart ached, unable to comprehend how things had escalated to that

point.

“You’re with this delivery girl, right? She ruined my cake.” At that moment, a young lady wearing a golden miniskirt and flawless makeup strutted in with an air of superiority.

Standing about five-foot-four and in her early twenties, the young lady spoke arrogantly, “Do you know how expensive this chocolate cake is? My friend had it air-flown from France. It’s full of Hermes chocolates. The glass doll cake topper fell

because of her.

“I asked her to compensate me for the cake, but she couldn’t afford it. So I told her she could leave after drinking the four bottles of whiskey.”

Lisa followed the young lady’s gaze to the pink cake on the bar counter, which she had seen downstairs earlier. Indeed, the glass doll cake topper had fallen to the side.

“How much is the cake? I’ll pay for it,” Lisa offered with difficulty.

“150,000 dollars,” the young lady in the miniskirt smirked.

“150,000?!” Lisa’s pupils shrank. “Are you serious? Are you trying to rob me or something?”

Lisa hesitated. She had money but could not bear to pay such an excessive amount for a cake.

“Lisa, just go,” Celine urged. She pushed Lisa aside softly, her body and voice trembling. “These people made things difficult for me on purpose. When I brought the cake up earlier, they said delivery people were dirty and prohibited from using the elevator. They made me take the stairs.

“The cake wouldn’t look like this if I hadn’t climbed to the 50th floor and been so exhausted I could hardly stand. They still blame me for arriving late. They wanted to give me a bad review and forced me to pay. If I don’t comply, they’ll make it impossible for me to stay in Queenston.”

Although Celine’s eyes were red, she desperately tried to contain herself. However, she trembled in humiliation.

Lisa was shocked. Even with her combat training, she could not have climbed 50 flights of stairs.

‘Has Celine done anything wrong? She only wanted to earn money through her efforts and change her fate,’ Lisa thought as her gaze swept over the wealthy socialites around her.

There was no trace of sympathy in their eyes-only disdain, mockery, and gloating.

“Well, that’s what happens when delivery people run around all the time. Who knows how many germs and viruses she

carries? She’s not qualified to even enter this event hall. What if she dirties the elevator?”
