“What’s the big deal about paying 150,000 dollars? It’s not that much money. Can’t you come up with it easily?”

The young lady known as Madison seemed impatient. “Enough blabbering. Either drink or pay up. Otherwise, I’ll find your friend’s food delivery company and report her. You’re still a student, right? Be careful, or you won’t be able to continue your studies in Queenston.”

Someone beside Madison burst into laughter.

Lisa felt her head buzzing. In her anger, she seemed to reach a state of calmness mixed with a hint of madness. It was as if every drop of blood in her body surged violently.
