I woke up feeling warm and safe. I felt a pair of arms tighten around me slightly and heard a happy sigh behind my left ear. Memories of the waterfall and Jared made a smile spread across my face. I turned in his arms and hid my face in the crook of his neck. He kissed my forehead and sighed contently.

“How are you feeling my love?” He asked.

“Good. Yourself?” I asked looking up at him.

“Even better now that you’re awake.” He said and pushed hair out of my face.

He leaned down and kissed me gently on the lips. I wrapped my arms around his neck and my fingers tangled in his hair. We both pulled away, me gasping for air.

“You know, I can make you half vampire...” He said slowly as he looked into my eyes.

My hands slid down to his chiseled chest. “What?”

“I can turn you.” He paused. “Its simple really-”

“What about Naula?” I asked as Naula started to stir.

“You will still be able to shift, my love. But with being part vampire, you will gain more strength and power.”

“Is it painful?” I ask

“Yes, but in the end, its worth it.” He said eyeing me.

“I don’t know Jared. Won’t people notice?”

“Since you’re already a werewolf, you will continue to age, but even slower. Naula and Jamie will be able to mask the vampire scent so no one will notice. One big difference is your skin. It will be stronger, much stronger. Healing will be faster, hearing will be better, sight will be better. Some, when they are turned, get abilities. some don’t, it just depends.”

“Can I have time to think?” I asked him.

“Of course, my love. I will be here tomorrow at midnight to see you.” He paused and looked at my lips. “We both have business to attend to. I will leave first. You’re...other mates are looking for you. I am going to take some of your memory so they do not come looking for me.”

“Will I remember?”

“I will return your memory tomorrow at midnight.” He said

“Alright.” I said nodding slowly.

“It is time to part.” He said

He kissed me on the lips and pulled me as close as possible. Then we pulled away and I watched him get up and get dressed. Before he left, he knelled next to me. He gave me a quick kiss on the lips.

“Maybe next time, we’ll be in a bed.” He said smiling at me wickedly and I blushed.

“Look me in the eyes.” He said smoothly.

I looked into his beautiful eyes and listened to him.

“All you’ll remember of today is what I look like. You’ll remember my name. You won’t remember how we met, or what we did. Just that we love each other.” He paused. “When I leave you’ll fall asleep for five minutes. When you wake up, get dressed and wander around in the woods until Damon and Nate find you.”

Suddenly he left and I got really sleepy. I laid back down and dozed off for what seemed like hours. Then I woke up and looked around.

“What the?” I asked when I realized I was naked.

I crawled out of the sleeping back and looked through the pile of clothes. I put my bra and underwear on, then slipped on a dark green tank top and a pair of ripped up jean shorts. My long brown hair hung down on my shoulders in a tangled mess so I combed my fingers through it and threw it up in a messy bun. I slipped out of the cave and started walking around in the woods.

I made my way up the rocks and started walking around the trees and logs. I felt a little lost, but didn’t think anything of it. Then I heard someone yelling in the distance. As they got closer I realized they were yelling my name.

“Louie!” a voice yelled.

“I’m over here!” I yelled back.

Then I saw Damon and Nate running around the trees coming straight to me. As soon as they reached me, Nate picked me up in a hug and spun me around. When he set me down, Damon did the same.

“Where have you been?!“Damon asked setting me on the ground.

“Around.” I said.

“Did you meet someone?” Nate asked

I looked and saw hurt come across there faces. “Yes.”

“I knew it. That leech was with you.” Damon said clenching his fist. “What did you two do?”

I thought for a moment. “I-I don’t r-remember.” I said.

I really couldn’t. I couldn’t even remember how we had met. There was light a blur and then I remember waking up next to him and him leaving and to meet him tomorrow night at midnight.

“Liar.” Damon said. “We know what you did.”

“I’m being serious. I really don’t remember.”

“Don’t lie to me, Louie!” Damon yelled at me

I winced and stepped away from him, backing against a tree.

“We know what you did! WE FELT IT! Do you know what it feels like when your mate has sex with someone other than you?! ITS FUCKING PAINFUL!!!” Damon yelled and shoved me to the ground.

I landed on my wrist and yelped. My wrist swelled and throbbed. I scooted away from him.

“Damon stop! She’s telling the truth. He must’ve taken her memory.” Nate said knealing next to me.

Damon’s eyes were pitch black. His fists were clenched.

“Still. She must’ve known what she was doing when he offered.”

“Maybe he forced her.” Nate said

“No, he didn’t.” I said

“See?! I can’t believe this!” Damon growled.

A few memories came back. I remembered the waterfall and his voice.

“They’ll feel a bit sick, but nothing much.” He said.

“He told me it wouldn’t hurt you. I’m sorry. I didn’t know.” I said as a few tears slid down my cheeks.

“And you believed him?! Are you stupid? He’s a fucking Vampire!”

“I said I was sorry!” I yelled letting Naula take control. “I needed him! You two were too busy fighting! Especially you!” I flew up and pushed Damon away. “You are constantly fighting with Nate. You two aren’t supposed to fight! So when I left, he found and comforted me, because you were too busy being a dumbass! I said I was sorry! Why can’t you just move the fuck on and get over yourself?!” I yelled and pushed him down.

Damon looked shocked at first, but then a wicked grin spread across his face. As he stood up and walked towards me, I backed away.

“Well, Louie, now its our turn.” Damon said.
