Chapter 13

Aiden had taken Lyra to another part of the Alpha’s mansion. In there, he told her to stay put as he went to check the hallway to see if it was clear enough to pass. Lyra stool by the entrance as she tried to blend in by waving at the people who passed by her.

He walked in as calmly and normally as he could. He walked into the hallway and then stopped by one of the rooms. He leaned by the door and reached into his pockets. He was searching for the keys as he tried to

Finally, he found the key and slid it into the keyhole. Within a few clicks. and fondling, he had finally opened the door and entered inside. The space was secured and so he turned to go back. It was time to bring Lyra

Aiden closed the door again and walked into the hallway. He had almost gotten to the door when Lyra’s eyes met his. He quickly signaled her to come and then she nodded.

Lyra immediately entered the building and walked towards Aiden. They both walked to the room he had previously entered and Aiden closed the door behind them after they had entered.

Immediately they got in, Aiden asked Lyra to remove her clothes. He bent. over to unpack his bags.

“Why?!.. Aiden, this isn’t the time or place to have S**. Be serious for once” she said to him. Aiden stood up straight and turned to face her. He smirked and then held her close.

“As much as I would love to have S** with you, Lyra my love, that is not. what I intended. I meant to wrap this around you” he bent over to bring out a tummy wrap. “This is my invention and I want you to wear it” he said as he handed it to her.

“What is this?” She said to him as she raised his invention in the air. “What is this supposed to do for me?”

Aiden took it from her as he pulled her clothes from her knees to her.

“There, all done. This should be it” he said to her. Lyra had a confused look on her face as she tried to ask what it was and how it worked.

“Okay, so this is how it goes.” He gestured to Lyra to take a seat on the chair that faced them and then began to talk, “The tummy wrap I made is filled with little pockets of blood. Wolf blood of people I saw got killed. I gathered them up and got their blood. I put them in a bag and glued them to this tummy wrap. You can wear this and sit beside the Alpha and when it is time, you hold a guard’s hand and let him walk you. When he walks you, you accidentally trip and fall. You have to make sure you fall on your tummy. Fall flat and make sure you look clumsy while you’re at it. I advise that you drink wine or at least pretend to drink wine so that your story would collide.” He said.

Lyra nodded as she stood up. She got up to adjust the tummy wrap he had just given to her and then she drew her clothes to her knees. She shook. her b*dy to let everything fit and then turned to look Aiden in the eyes.

“Will you be there?” She asked. “Please be there. You know I can’t do that without you. You’re the only person I can look up and also the only one I can trust. Please come”

Aiden smiled at her as he reached for her chin and cupped it in his hand. He leaned in and k*ssed her and then came back to look her in the eyes.

“You already know that. I’ll be there for you. I’ll always be there for you, pumpkin”

Lyra nodded as she k*ssed him back and then walked towards the door. She touched the handle and then moved her n*eck to see him.

“I’ll see you around then. Bye Pumpkin”, with that, she opened the door and walked right out of it. Aiden smiled and nodded. He needed to get ready too. Tonight’s show was going to get interesting.

Chapter 13

Lyra walked to the gathering with her head in the sky. She was graceful about her movement as she entered the hall which the meeting was to be scheduled in. Lyra scanned the hall and saw that Alphas were seated with

their Lunas.

Everyone was present except her and when she looked up to find Lucian, her alpha, she found beside him an empty chair intended for her. Lyra smiled. It felt good to be a Luna.

She walked over to the chair which was meant for her. She got there and sat on it, not saying a word to anyone except her Alpha.

Lucian looked at her as he asked her to greet other Alphas but she refused. She said she wasn’t in the mood. She instead lifted her face and watched the performance on the stage.

The performances lasted for a couple of hours as Lyra and everyone else. enjoyed it. After it was done, everyone clapped as the performers. ascended the stage.

It was indeed a beautiful moment as Lucian smiled and decided he wanted to give a speech to those who had performed at the Wildermont pack.

He stood to his feet but was gestured to get on the main stage. Lucian. nodded as he agreed. The people’s cheer got louder and louder and so he quickly walked to the stage.
