Lucian had seen someone when he entered her room and that was why he fell. His initial intention was to say sorry to hear at the door and leave but when his eyes caught something. He decided to check it out. He had wanted to get a clearer view of who he had seen in his mate’s room. Why did she take so long to come to him and why was that person in her room? Why did the person not come to greet him?

Lucian’s thoughts were crowded as he thought more and more about everything but he decided he would watch it unfold.

“Listen here, Lucian. I have no idea why you’re here or what you intend to achieve but I am going to tell you one thing. Inwardly, Lucian’s heart broke. He could not believe he had traded the

woman who had shown him so much care and love for the one who was

He could understand that she had just lost a child but her reaction was too much. He imagined Nadia would not have reacted the same way, and to think Lyra was far better than Nadia. Oh, how wrong he was.
