Day Of The Alpha Ceremony:

Ace POV

I was training with the guys, getting in some last-minute warm-ups before the ceremony tonight.

"Hey, boys," I looked up at the voice as my Mother walked onto the mat in her training gear.

"Mom? What are you doing here?" I asked as she smirked and did her stretches.

"To help you train," My eyes widened.

"Train with what?" I asked as Carlito and Julio snickered.

"Your powers," Mom said, and my mouth hung open.

With everything that had been going on lately, I forgot I hadn't started training to use my powers. Mom was the only white wolf with powers like mine, so this should be interesting. Apollo whimpered as Mom's aura expanded, and I felt her strength. The guys and other warriors backed off as Mom finished her stretches and got into her stance.

"Let's go," Mom said as I gulped.

I towered over Mom, but she had this fierce look in her eyes as she smirked. I got into my stance and prepared for anything. Apollo was silent as I watched Mom create a tidal wave and gasped. She smirked and flicked her wrist as the wave hurdled toward me.

"Move your ass!" Apollo said as I quickly dove out of the way.

Carlito and Julio were on the sidelines laughing as I got up and dusted myself off.

I sighed and got back into my position. I watched Mom raise her hands, and the air picked up hard and fast.

"Concentrate, son," Mom said and twirled her hands. The air felt powerful, and fireballs formed in her hands.

"You need to learn this," Apollo said.

Mom walked toward me, her eyes turning misty white and her blonde hair blowing in the wind. She looked like a goddess, emitting incredible strength and purity. Mom stood beside me, and I watched as she used different techniques with her powers.

I repeated Mom's steps and techniques as we fell into a rhythm. My eyes glowed as I felt my powers crackling at my fingertips. We were doing a mystical dance of some kind as our powers flowed around us. I noticed the crowd on the sidelines as I kept pace with my Mom.

"Wow," I heard someone say.

"Are you ready?" Mom asked beside me.

"Yeah," I said.

"Don't hold back. Because I'm not," Mom said and smiled.

Mom walked back to her spot and took her stance. I took a deep breath, took my stance, and waited. We charged at each other, which was a clash between Mother and son. Mom and I went back and forth. Soon enough, I started developing techniques to use my powers.

Mom used her ice wall to block my fireball attacks. Our powers crashed and crackled throughout the territory as everyone watched with fascination. I caught my Dad's scent and knew he was here watching the show. I used my super speed to gain the upper hand. I didn't anticipate Mom's ability to slow down time, and she used that to her advantage as I couldn't move. Mom finished me off with a roundhouse kick to the chest as I went flying back and landed on the ground with a thud.

"She kicked your ass," Apollo snickered.

I groaned as I felt a pair of hands lift me off the ground and saw my Dad smiling proudly at me.

"You'll live," Dad said, patting my back.

"You learn quickly."

"But never underestimate your opponent," Mom says and hands me a water bottle.

"Yes, Mom," I said as she leaned forward and kissed my cheek.

"Mom," I groan, and she smacks my chest.

"How did you do that?" I asked as Mom chugged some water.

"It's one of the many gifts from Selene."

"You have super speed. So, all of our powers aren't the same."

"We share the gifts of the elements because those are our strongest of powers," Mom says as I nod.

The scent of honeysuckle hit me, and I turned to see Rachel and the girls on the sideline, looking on with fascination in her eyes. Rachel smiled and waved at me. I smiled back and winked at her. She blushed and looked back toward the girls, continuing their conversation.

"Don't be late," Mom said as she and Dad walked toward their house. I jogged over to the group as Rachel turned and wrapped her arms around me.

"That was amazing, babe," she giggled and kissed my lips.

"How long had you been standing there?" I asked as she smiled at me.

"Since you and your Mom started training, you looked so natural," I smiled and kissed the tip of her nose.

"Thanks, little flower."

"How is your Mom doing?" I asked, and she looked distant for a second. Rachel sighed.

"She is taking it a day at a time," I nodded and hugged Rachel close.

A few days ago, Sarah and Rachel traveled to the Midnight Moon pack to find the omega who had Blake's son. They finally found the woman because she changed her name after she left Lotus Shadow.

Once Sarah and Rachel saw Braxton, all they could do was break down. I went with her for support. Esther apologized repeatedly to Sarah and Rachel, but both were too far gone in their emotions to register what Esther was saying.

Rachel was taking the news much better than Sarah, but I knew it hurt Rachel to know that if her Father knew he had a son, he would've been loved the way she wasn't.

"We should go get ready for the ceremony," I said.

Carlito, Julio, and I gathered our training gear and walked toward the castle. It was after four, and the ceremony started at seven. Rachel still needed a dress, so Mom had a dress designer come to the castle with her best wardrobe-made dresses.

"See you all in a few hours," I told the group as we went to our suites.

Once Rachel and I finally arrived on the eighth floor, we walked into the suite. This place felt empty since my family finally moved into the house my Father had built on the territory. As I recalled my childhood and playing with my siblings and best friends, I was lost in my thoughts.

"You want to shower first, baby?" I heard Rachel ask as she pulled me out of my thoughts.

"Huh? Oh, yeah, right, I'm going," I smiled and kissed her lips.

I walked down the hall towards my parents' old bedroom, which would soon belong to Rachel and me. I opened the door and was hit with the faint scent of my parents. I sighed, and Apollo whimpered in my head.

"I know, buddy. I miss them too."

"Even though they don't stay far from the castle," Apollo whimpered.

My parents left some furniture here for Rachel and me while we started ordering more stuff. The construction crew updated the paint on the walls for us. I showered quickly, got out, and dried off as Rachel entered the bathroom.

"I found a dress, baby."

"It's adorable and goes well with your suit," Rachel smiled and started stripping out her clothes.

"That's great, little flower," I kissed her lips and entered the bedroom to get ready.

Rachel POV

Something was bothering Ace. After training, he seemed distant all afternoon, so I tried to brighten his mood.

"He misses his family," Rayne said.

"How do you know that?" I asked her as she whimpered.

"Apollo told me," I nodded. While Ace was showering, a gentle knock sounded on the door, and I opened it.

"Hello, Luna Rachel, I presume," the lady stuck her hand out with a gentle smile. I shook her hand and nodded.

"Great. My name is Abigail."

"Luna Staci sent me to help you find a gorgeous dress for tonight's ceremony," I smiled and ushered her inside the suite.

"Luna Staci mentioned you were quite fit, but she didn't mention how beautiful you are," I blushed at Abigail's comment.

"Thank you," I told her as she smiled at me.

"I know the pack colors are royal blue, gray, and white."

"So, would you prefer to match your mate or offset the colors?" she asked as I stared at her.

"I want to match him."

"His suit is royal blue with a white button-up shirt," I told her as she nodded and went over to the rack of dresses.

I heard Abigail hum to herself as she skimmed through the rack she had brought. I saw her pick up six different dresses from the rack.

"What do you think of these?" she asked as she laid out each dress. I gasped as I saw each dress and looked over each one.

"I like this one," I told her as I held the dress against me.

It was a royal blue satin ruched strapless, sleeveless dress with a split on the right side, matching Ace's suit perfectly. Abigail even brought heels and accessories as I skimmed through the items and picked what would go perfectly with the dress.

"Excellent choices, Luna Rachel," she smiled at me.

"How much?" I asked as she shook her head at me.

"Oh, no, Luna Rachel, this is on the house."

"Alpha Antonio and Luna Staci made sure everything was covered," my mouth hung open. Abigail packed up her stuff and started leaving the suite.

"Thank you again, Abigail," I told her as she turned and smiled at me.

"I hope you will call me when the time comes for a wedding," she handed me her business card and winked at me as she closed the door.

I had an hour to get ready, so I rushed to our bedroom and walked into the bathroom as Ace got out.

"I found a dress, baby."

"It's adorable and goes well with your suit," I told Ace as he dried off his perfect body, and I tried not to drool.

"That's great little flower," he kissed my lips and walked into the bedroom as I hopped in the shower.

After my shower, I got out and dried my body. I wrapped the towel around my body and walked into the bedroom. I stepped inside my closet and sat at the vanity that Luna Staci was kind of enough to leave for me. I smiled as I remembered when she gave me a tour of their bedroom.

After returning from my thoughts, I lotioned my body and put on panties and a bra. I heard Ace moving around the bedroom and smiled to myself. Rayne was howling in my head and wagging her tail. I giggled.

"What has you in a good mood?" I asked Rayne.

"We are officially becoming the Luna tonight," Rayne said.

I smiled, slipped on my dress and heels, and put on my accessories as a knock sounded at the door.

"Come in," I called out as Ace walked in, followed by Luna, Staci, and my Mother. I heard gasps and turned to see them both with broad smiles.

"Rachel, you look gorgeous," my Mother said as Luna Staci smiled.

"Thanks," I blushed as my Mother approached the vanity.

"See you in a bit, little flower," Ace said as he walked out.

My Mother and Luna Staci helped me with my hair and make-up. When they were finished, I turned to the mirror and gasped.

"Wow. Thank you both so much," my hair was curled and left down. My royal blue and dark gray makeup made my green eyes pop.

After hugging my Mother and Luna Staci, we walked out of the closet and to the front of the suite, where Ace waited.

"You look beautiful, little flower," he growled and leaned forward.

"Ah! No!" his Mother shouted.

"Save that for later. She is perfect," she smacks his chest as I giggle. Ace growls at his Mother, who gives him a stern look, making him whimper and look away.

"I'm ready," I smiled as Luna Staci and my Mother left first, followed by Ace and me.

We walked toward the elevator and got on, pushing the button for the first floor. On the way down, we stopped on the Beta and Gamma floors, and everyone got on the elevator. Chloe and Amber looked beautiful in their dresses.

"I see Abigail didn't just visit me," I said as the girls smiled.

"She has amazing quality dresses. Who could pass that up," Chloe giggled, and I couldn't help but agree. We finally reached the first floor, and we all stepped out.

"Okay, Gammas. You will enter first, followed by the Betas and then the Alpha couple," Luna Staci winked at us.

Luna Staci, and my Mother exited the castle first as we all waited.

"Nervous?" I looked over at Ace and smiled.

"Maybe a little," I told him as he grabbed my hand and kissed it.

It wasn't long before Rafe poked his head in and ushered us outside towards the back where the ceremony was being held. I gasped as we entered the patio area. Luna Staci, with the help of my Mother and Elizabeth, went all out.

Everything was decorated in the pack colors. There was food, music, and a stage, and the full moon shone brightly in the sky. As we entered, I saw Alpha Antonio and an elder onstage talking.

Amber POV

Everything was set up beautifully. I couldn't help the gasp that escaped my mouth as we walked toward the stage. I looked into the crowd and saw my Father with a proud smile. He waved at me, and I waved back.

One thing about Blue Eclipse is that they don't care about rank; you are what you were born to be. I sighed as I thought back to the mating ball, and Julio swept me off my feet. I told him I was a warrior's daughter, and he said he didn't care about my rank.

I was his mate, and he loved me. His wolf, Jupiter, was utterly smitten with Angel, and she was the same way. When Julio first shifted for me, I was amazed at his dark gray wolf. He was beautiful with silver-gray eyes.

Angel swooned and drooled. That was the first night we mated and marked each other. It was a magical night. Julio and I took our seats on the stage as everyone else started taking their seats so we could begin the ceremony.

Julio POV

Jupiter was howling in my head. Today was the day that I would inherit the Gamma title from my Dad. He would always tell me how proud he was of me and that I was born to be a Gamma. I come from a strong Gamma line. We have served the Silva Alphas for many generations, back to Antonio's Grandfather, Adonis.

My Father told me the story all the time when I was a young pup. I was proud to be a part of the Blue Eclipse pack and be the Gamma I was born to be. I held Amber's hand and watched her eyes sparkle as she waved to her Dad. I smiled, and he winked at me and waved to him.

I didn't care that Amber was from a warrior line. The goddess chose her for me, and I will cherish and love my mate until I die. I took a deep breath as we waited for the ceremony to start.

Chloe POV

The day was finally here, and Callie and I were so nervous. Carlito held my hand and told me not to worry. It's easy for him to say he was born to be a Beta, and I was just born with Beta blood.

I thought back to the night of the mating ball when I first met Carlito. He caught me by surprise and instantly swept me off my feet. We had mated and marked that same night. I was nervous then because I was a virgin, and he wasn't, but he was so sweet and caring about my needs.

That night, I first met his wolf, Czar. He is a gorgeous silver color with deep golden eyes. Callie and I swooned over him.

"It's alright, baby," Carlito purred in my ear as we sat and waited for the ceremony to start. I inhaled his dark almond scent and relaxed.

Carlito POV

Czar wouldn't stop howling in my head. Like Julio, I came from a strong Beta line and was proud to inherit my Beta title from my Dad.

"Will you shut up already!" I yelled at Czar as he huffed and growled.

He was giving me a headache. Czar was a proud wolf, and by us becoming the Beta to one of the most substantial packs in the state. The excitement seemed to be too much for him.

I sighed, as I hadn't seen my twin sister in the crowd yet. Alpha Antonio invited the Dark Moon pack to the ceremony tonight, but I worried my sister wouldn't make it. Czar seemed to calm down and whimper for his twin Catori, but suddenly, I caught her floral scent and knew my sister had made it as Czar howled and wagged his tail. Chloe and I took seats as my sister and her mate, Alpha Matthew, took theirs, and Czar let out a growl.

"I never liked that guy," I told Czar, and he growled in agreement.

Julio POV

As everyone took their seats, I watched Alpha Antonio approach the podium.

"Good evening, Blue Eclipse pack. It's with great honor that I, Alpha Antonio, Beta Carter, and Gamma Juliano, will pass our titles to our sons tonight."

"I hope these great young men will continue to lead the Blue Eclipse pack into a brighter and more prosperous future."

"I now give the floor to Elder Gerard to begin the ceremony," Alpha Antonio said. I heard cheers and howls as the Alpha sat next to the Luna.

"Good evening, Blue Eclipse pack. I, elder Gerard, will now commence the ceremony by calling the Gammas forward."

"Gamma Juliano and Julio, step forward," I watched my Father step up, and I did the same.

"Julio Miguel Oliveira, do you vow to protect and honor the members of the Blue Eclipse pack?"

"I vow to do so," I replied.

"Do you vow to uphold the laws and rules as the Gamma of the Blue Eclipse pack?"

"I vow to do so," I said.

"Lastly, do you vow to continually support and protect the Alpha and Luna of the Blue Eclipse pack?"

"I vow to do so," I said.

I watched the elder take the sacred Blue Eclipse gold dagger with a wolf and a full moon on the hilt.

"Gamma Juliano, please step forward," the elder said as my Father came forward.

"Hold out your hands," the elder said as my Father and I held our hands out, and the elder sliced each of our palms.

"Please join hands," we did as the elder said, and we joined our hands.

"I, Elder Gerard Baskin, at this moment, bless the passing of the Gamma title from Juliano Rylan Oliveira to his son Julio Miguel Oliveira," I felt a gust of wind as the power transferred from my Father to me.

"Blue Eclipse, I give you your new Gamma Julio Miguel Oliveira," the elder said as the members howled and cheered. My Father hugged and patted my back.

"I'm proud of you, son. Don't go too far."

"You still have the Luna/Gamma bond to initiate with Rachel," my Dad whispered as I stood to the side, and my Dad went to sit.

Carlito POV

After Julio and his Father took their seats, the elder called my Father and me forward.

"Carlito Lucio Hernandes, do you vow to protect and honor the members of the Blue Eclipse pack?"

"I vow to do so," I replied.

"Do you vow to uphold the laws and rules as the Beta of the Blue Eclipse pack?"

"I vow to do so," I said.

"Lastly, do you vow to continually support and protect the Alpha and Luna of the Blue Eclipse pack?"

"I vow to do so," I said.

"Hold out your hands," we did as the elder told us and held out our hands. The elder sliced our palms.

"Please join hands," the elder told us as my Father and I joined hands.

"I, Elder Gerard Baskin, at this moment bless the passing of the Beta title from Carter Issac Hernandes to his son Carlito Lucio Hernandes," the wind passed through as the power transferred from my Father to me.

"Blue Eclipse, I give you your new Beta Carlito Lucio Hernandes," the elder announced as the members howled and cheered.

I looked over and saw my sister with tears in her eyes as my Dad pulled me in for a hug.

"I'm very proud of you, son," he patted my back as we parted and took our seats.

Ace POV

Once Carlito and his Dad took their seats, my Father and I were called forward. Apollo puffed his chest out and howled with pride. I looked over and saw my Mother with tears as she held the gold chalice for the elder.

"Are you ready, son?" I looked at my Father and smiled.

"Born ready, Dad," he pulled me in for a tight hug and patted my back.

"Good evening, Blue Eclipse. We will now usher in the new Alpha of the Blue Eclipse pack," the elder announced as the members cheered and howled.

The elder waved his hands to get the pack members to quiet down. Once everyone was silent, he proceeded with the ceremony.

"Alpha Antonio, are you ready to pass over the power and title of Alpha to your son Ace Silva?" My dad looked at me with a proud smile, and I swear I saw some unshed tears in his eyes.

"Yes, I am," my Father said as the elder looked at me.

"Ace Silva, are you ready to receive the power and title of Alpha?" Apollo howled.

"Yes, I am," I told the elder as he smiled. I saw my Mother hand Elder Thomas the chalice.

"Hold out your hands," we did as the elder said, and I watched as he sliced my Father's palm and did the same to mine.

"Alpha Antonio, Ace, please join hands," my Father and I did as we were told, and we joined hands.

I watched the tiny drops of blood collect into the chalice. I felt a powerful and raw gust of wind flow through the Blue Eclipse pack as the members took a knee and bowed their heads.

"Blue Eclipse pack, please stand and honor your new Alpha, Ace Ronaldo Silva," the elder said.

The members stood cheering and howling. I smiled and looked at the pack as their new Alpha. I felt my Father pull me into a hug as my Mother joined in.

"I've always been proud of you, son. Now, go out there and make me prouder," Dad said, patting my back.

"Before we get started on the pack run."

"Will the Luna and Gamma of the Blue Eclipse pack come forward," elder Gerard boomed.

I watched as Rachel and Julio walked forward, and Julio kneeled before his Luna. My parents talked to me about the Luna/Gamma bond and explained how it worked.

"Luna Rachel, you may now initiate the bond with your Gamma," the elder said.

Rachel placed her right hand on Julio's head.

"I, Rachel Lynn Sullivan, Luna of the Blue Eclipse pack, chose you, Julio Miguel Oliveira, as my Gamma," Rachel said.

"I, Gamma Julio Miguel Oliveira, accept my duty as your Gamma."

"I will lay down my life to ensure your safety and protection," Julio said his vow.

I heard Rachel gasp as Julio looked up with a proud smile and stood before his Luna with a bow.

Once the ceremony was done, we all walked off the stage and prepared for the official pack run with me as the Alpha, Carlito as the Beta, and Julio as the Gamma. Our mates joined us as we went to a secluded area and stripped off our clothes.

"How does it feel?" I looked over at Rachel and smiled.

"Apollo is happy and proud to be the Alpha," I chuckled, and Rachel walked over to me. She kissed my lips passionately.

"Rayne is happy too," she smiled as we shifted into our wolves.

Apollo and Rayne stepped from behind the trees, and we let out a mighty howl. Our pack responded with howls as they joined us for the pack run. I saw our Betas and Gammas, my parents, Rachel's Mom, and head trainers.

We howled again as the pack followed, and we took off into the forest for the run. Rayne was right at our side, keeping up as she nipped at our ears, and Apollo growled playfully.

"She is so getting it tonight," Apollo said as I chuckled.

"Of course she is, buddy. But first, let's lead our pack," I smiled.

With that, Apollo ran full speed, leading our pack as the new Alpha of the Blue Eclipse pack.
