The Rejected Alpha Wolf
SIXTEEN-SURPRISE, SURPRISE

A Few Days Later:

Unknown POV

"Boss, are you sure about this?" my whiney Beta asked.

*Smack*

"Of course, I am you, idiot."

"Those two Alphas promised us money if we took down the Blue Eclipse pack, and I have a personal message for that fucking Antonio Silva and his family!" I roared.

I watch as my Beta rubs his cheek and nods his head.

"Get the men ready to move out. We attack tonight!" his eyes widen as I growl.

"I said move it, Bane!" I snarl as he nods.

"Yes, sir," I watch as he leaves my office as I take a seat. I sigh as my wolf paces in my head.

"What's your deal, Storm?" I ask as he whimpers.

"Are you sure about the attack?"

"How do you know we will even beat them?" he asks.

"We have over a thousand wolves at our command, you stupid mutt."

"We will take down Blue Eclipse and become the Alpha of what's left over of that pack," I tell my wolf as my lips twist into a smirk.

A few minutes later, a knock sounds on my door as my sister Nora enters my office.

"Stephen, what is the meaning of this?" she asks as I growl at her.

"That's Alpha Stephen to you, Nora. You do best to remember," I growl as she recoils from me.

"To answer your ridiculous question, dear sister, we will attack the Blue Eclipse pack tonight."

"For what that fucking Alpha Antonio did to our family and us," I say as her eyes widen.

"Stephen, are you crazy?"

"We don't have the manpower to take on a pack of that size and magnitude!" she yells.

I growl, launch towards Nora, grab her by her neck, and squeeze hard.

"I told you before that's Alpha to you, and I'm doing this for our fallen people and us."

"After everything we've been through, our Mother won't even see us because of what Father and I did under the orders of Alpha Conrad," I growl in her face as the tears flow from her eyes.

"Paul isn't even your Father, Stephen."

"You are the bastard son of Alpha Conrad."

"Father just chose to ignore that Mother was one of Conrad's whores before she met Dad and had you," she managed to squeak out as I growled in her face.

"You are lucky you are my sister, Nora."

"Otherwise, I would've killed you just then," I said as her eyes widened. I let her go, and she fell to the floor.

I watch Nora rush to her feet and run out of my office. I sigh, turn the window behind my desk, and watch my men prepare for battle. No one but Nora knew that Conrad was my Father. Our Mother had an affair with Conrad for a few years after his mate had the twins, my older brother and sister.

Our Mother met her mate Paul three years after I was born, and one look at me was all he needed to confirm Conrad was my Father. I have gray eyes and dark brown hair. Because of the mate bond, Paul overlooked our Mother's infidelity, raised me like his son, and kept the bond between him and our Mother a secret from his Alpha.

A few months later, Nora came along, and we lived like a happy family until Conrad lost his mind and declared war on the Blue Eclipse pack over a woman who wasn't his destined mate.

I was young and didn't understand his reasons, but I went along with it, as did my Father. Paul was killed in the battle by Alpha Antonio and whatever was left of the Blood Moon warriors. A few warriors and I escaped and hid away. I tried to go back home to my Mother, but after losing her mate, she couldn't even look at me and said it was my fault.

Alpha Antonio and his warriors came to Blood Moon and killed those loyal to Conrad. A few warriors and I fled Blood Moon and became rogues. My sister Nora chose to follow me, and we have been together ever since.

"Boss, the men are ready to move out," Bane, my Beta, walked in and said.

"Good," I turned back to the window and smiled.

Ace POV

"Babe, is this right?" I swiveled my chair over to Rachel's desk and looked at her laptop.

It has been a week since the ceremony. Rachel, my Betas, and Gammas have been working like a team, keeping Blue Eclipse on the up and up. I kissed her cheek and smiled.

"Of course, little flower, just check the revenues against last month's quarter," I said as she smiled and checked her papers.

We were reviewing pack alliances and financials. Mom and Dad had helped us the first few days before they decided to take a vacation. I was grateful for the extra help. A minute later, a knock sounded on the door.

"Come in," I called out as our Betas and Gammas entered the office.

"You two are still at it?" Carlito asked, and I nodded.

"Well, we figured we bring lunch in since you two are workaholics," he laughed, and I glared at him.

Carlito's and Julio's parents also took vacations. Rachel and I called it quits on work, sat at the big round table, and had lunch with our friends.

"Are you guys prepared for the meeting in two weeks?" I asked my Beta and Gamma.

"Yeah, isn't Dark Moon hosting this year?" Carlito asked, and I nodded.

"So Alpha Miles finally decided to make that dimwit Matthew Alpha huh?" Carlito rolled his eyes and mumbled under his breath. I laughed as Carlito glared.

"Lito, what's your issue with Matthew?"

"He's an okay guy," I said as Carlito huffed.

"He just gives off the wrong vibes, and the fact that he's mated to my sister is worse," I just shook my head at Carlito's stubbornness and continued eating my lunch.

After my Alpha ceremony, Alpha Miles decided it was time for Matthew to step up and take over as Alpha from his Dad.

"When was the last time Carissa called?" I asked Carlito as he looked over at me.

"It's been about a week now."

"It was usually every day."

"Now it's down to her calling once a day, but I haven't heard anything in over a week, and Czar is going crazy by not talking to his twin Catori," Carlito said as my eyes widened.

It wasn't uncommon for twins, especially their wolves, to have a special bond. Twin bonds differed from mate bonds, but they could still feel each other's emotions and mind links as mates do.

"We will discover what's happening when we go to the meeting."

"I don't want to assume and make us look bad," I told Carlito as he nodded.

We all finished lunch as the gang cleaned up and returned to their offices while Rachel and I returned to work. After a few hours of work and answering emails, Rachel and I finally called it quits before dinner and closed the office.

"What was that about earlier?" Rachel asked.

"You mean with Carlito's sister?" Rachel nodded, and I sighed as we walked toward the elevator.

"Well, Carlito and Carissa are close; as you know, they're twins."

"So, they have a special bond, like mates have, but different."

"With Carlito not being able to talk to his twin regularly, it's making his wolf crazy," I said. Rachel looked at me with wide eyes and nodded in understanding.

We stepped inside the elevator, and I pushed the button for the first floor. We descended and arrived; the elevator doors slid open, and we exited.

"Something smells good," Rachel said as I nodded in agreement and walked toward the dining room.

Rachel and I were the last ones to arrive and sat at the head table, and the omegas started serving us dinner. Our Betas sat to my right, while the Gammas sat to Rachel's left. Then there was Hunter, our Delta, Rafe, Lucas Jr., and Talio, all our head trainers. Everyone had inherited their titles from their fathers when our parents retired, and Chloe's brother and Tobias even joined us for dinner.

Rachel POV

I was eating dinner and enjoying the conversations around the dinner table when I felt Ace stiffen beside me.

"Baby, what is it?" I asked when his eyes glazed over.

"Rogues are attacking us! Get the elderly, women, and children into the bunkers now!" Ace shouted in his Alpha tone.

I jumped out of my seat with Chloe and Amber hot on my heels. I heard blaring as the alarms went off, indicating we were under attack as everyone started scrambling to their positions.

I helped women and children be escorted to the bunkers. Rayne and I weren't fighters, but as the Luna, I had to ensure the pack members were safe.

"We need to go help, mate," Rayne said.

"Rayne, you know we can't fight."

"I'll be in Ace's way," I told her as she whimpered.

"Luna!" I turned to the voice. Tristan was heading our way. He bowed before me.

"Alpha Ace sent me to help guard the bunkers with the other warriors," Tristan said. I nodded as he helped the other warriors get members into the bunkers.

"Rachel!" I saw my Mother and Elizabeth running toward us.

"Mom? How did you get here?" I asked as my Mother and I were ushered inside the bunkers.

"One of the warriors got us out before the alarms went off."

"Rachel, at least a dozen rogues were crossing the border before Elizabeth and I entered the castle," my Mother told me as I gasped.

"I should be out there helping my mate," I said and started shaking. Julio was right beside me.

"You are helping him, dear, as the Luna."

"You may not be Luna Staci and have gifts, but you helped get the members to safety before it was too late," my Mother said, but it still didn't make me feel better. S~ᴇaʀᴄh the ꜰindNʘvel.ɴet website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

"Rayne, can you contact Apollo?" I asked my wolf and heard her whimper.

"He has a block up, but I can still feel him," she said.

"Chloe, Amber, can you guys reach your mates?" I asked the girls. Both shook their heads as I sighed.

"Goddess, please let my mate be alright," I silently prayed to the moon goddess as time seemed to drag on.

Stephen POV

"Boss, our warriors don't stand a chance. That white wolf has powers and is taking out our warriors left and right," Bane whined. I was tired of his constant bitching so I grabbed his neck and slammed him into a tree.

"I see that, you idiot, but I will not give up this opportunity to kill that Alpha and take over this pack," I cackled.

"Who said you would be the Alpha?" I turned to the voice and saw Blake and that other Alpha from before walking through the forest with his arms folded.

"You don't scare me," I scoffed at the other Alpha as Blake sneered at me.

"I will have my revenge against this pack, which has nothing to do with you, so I suggest when this battle is over."

"You pay up the money that we discussed," I let go of Bane as he dropped to the ground and coughed.

"A white wolf and an organized pack are destroying your warriors."

"This is a losing battle so I won't be paying you worthless mutts anything, and that's Alpha Silas to you, rogue," Silas said.

I growled and launched at the Alpha as he side-stepped me and punched the side of my head. Storm growled in my head.

"Don't underestimate me, pup," the Alpha smirked at me as I launched again, and he grabbed me by the neck. I clawed at his hand as he cackled.

"Weak and worthless," he said, and before I could get his hand from around my neck, I felt his hand punch its way through my chest and grab my heart.

Ace POV

"STEPHEN!!!" we heard a voice.

Apollo looked at the top of the hill, where I saw a man with blonde hair and light blue eyes, holding another man with dark brown hair by the neck and pulling his hand out his chest with his heart in it.

"Who the fuck is that?" Apollo growled.

"I don't know," I said as the man dropped the other man's lifeless body and tossed his heart aside.

We watched as he turned to me with an evil smirk, grabbed a young girl who closely resembled the man and another man, and left the territory. We took off as fast as possible to catch up with them.

"Alpha!" we heard Carlito call out.

We heard thumping paws following close behind. Their scents were lingering, so they couldn't be too far. We passed the territory border. I saw a dirt road and a Range Rover speeding down the street. Apollo growled as we had just missed them.

"ACE!" Carlito shouted through the link. We saw Czar rush out from the forest and walk up to me.

"Who was that?" Carlito asked.

"I don't know, but I plan on finding out," I said as we returned to the pack and the warriors.

Carlito and I returned to the territory. We helped the warriors clean up the rogues' bodies, and I tossed fireballs, setting the piles on fire.

"We need to talk to the girls and find out who those two men were and why they were here," I told Carlito as he nodded.

"Who was the other man that had his heart ripped out?" Hunter asked.

"I think he was the leader of the rogues," I said as he and Carlito looked at me.

"He wasn't down here fighting, just observing, so I can assume he was their leader," I said. After the clean-up, the warriors and I returned to the castle.

"Rachel?" I mind-linked her.

"Ace! Oh, goddess, are you and the guys okay?" she asked frantically. I sighed.

"We are okay, little flower, but we need to talk as soon as we return to the castle," I told her.

"Okay, baby, see you soon," she said as I closed the connection.

I sent Julio and Tristan a link, letting them know the fight was over and the pack members could be released to go home. I knew I had to call our parents and let them know about the attack, but I would do that once I had a chance to talk to Rachel and the girls.

After the guys and I returned to the castle, we saw Julio and Tristan standing in front of the castle. The members slowly returned to their homes. I saw Chloe and Amber helping a few elderly children.

"Ace?" I heard my mate's sweet voice as she ran up and wrapped her arms around me.

"Are you okay?" I nodded and kissed her lips.

"I'm fine, little flower. Nothing, Apollo, and I can't handle."

"Is everyone safe?" I asked her as she nodded. I saw Chloe and Amber rush to the guys and embrace each other.

"We need to talk," I said as everyone looked at me. We walked inside the castle and headed toward the elevator,

"Ace, what's going on?" Rachel asked as I looked at her.

"I will tell you in the office. I don't want to say anything out in the open," She nodded as the elevator ascended.

We finally arrived on the fourth floor. The doors slid open, and we walked toward the office. Everyone sat in front of my desk, and Rachel sat beside me.

"The rogues that attacked weren't like rogues we have fought before."

"They were too organized and skillful," I said as Carlito nodded.

"While we were fighting, I heard a scream and saw a man with blonde hair and light blue eyes kill another man who I assumed to be the leader of the rogues and two other wolves with them."

"One younger and one a lot older," I said, hearing Rachel and the girls gasp.

"That guy with the blonde hair and light blue eyes was Silas Cartier," Apollo growled in my head as Rachel spoke.

"The older man with him was my Father, Blake," she said as I saw tears emerge.

"So, why were my Father and Silas here?" Rachel asked as she looked at me, wiping her eyes.

"I can only say that your Father or Silas hired these rogues to attack us."

"The man Silas killed could have been the leader, but I must inform our parents about this attack and ask my Dad if he knows anything," I said, staring at everyone. Everyone nodded their agreement.

"Let's go get cleaned up and deal with this mess tomorrow, okay," I said and sighed.

Everyone got up to exit the office. We made it to our floors; Rachel and I made it to ours and walked inside the suite. We showered and got ready for bed. I held Rachel close as I felt her tremble.

"I will never let him hurt you again, little flower," I kissed the top of her head as Rachel snuggled closer, buried her nose in my neck, and drifted off to sleep.
