It’s been chaotic for the past few days in Silverpine. 

The Crone was still being held and has refused to confess. Rielle’s Grandfather had been detained too and from the rumors around, the other prominent families are rallying themselves to come face the Alpha. 

Long ago nob*dy could do anything to the Alpha,he was untouchable and commanded absolute respect. But now In a world where money rules, the Alpha was in the mercies of the wealthy and influential families in the community. 

The Archers were a powerful and wealthy family in Silverpine. They commanded. respect and the other powerful families respected them. They even gave private loans to the Alpha to help in the day to day running of the mansion. 

Lucien told me one day when I asked him the truth about why he chose Rielle. 

He said he never cared about love as he slept with different women. “But you’re limping,” 

“My bruises aren’t healed yet and I sprained my ankle” 

“Are you sure about that?,” she said sizing me up and down and I hissed before walking away,hearing her chuckle behind you. 

I went straight to my room,shutting the door behind me as I removed the bandages and found not a single wound on my b*dy and I could walk normally. My eyes widened in surprise because just this morning I had dressed the wound and it didn’t look like it will heal anytime soon. 

But now,there wasn’t even a scar where the wound was before. 

“Ouch!,” I shouted as I cut my hand with broken glasses that I was trying to pick. 

I gasped almost immediately,I saw blood at first then I saw the wound closing,like there was nothing there. 

I picked the knife lying beside my bed and inhaled deeply as I used it to cut my palm,almost immediately it covered, it was as if nothing had cut me. 

I tried it multiple times,but they kept healing by itself. 

I have never heard of this in real life,it was only in one movie I watched with Sherry some years back,a supernatural human. 

I closed my eyes and opened them again,pinching my cheeks to ascertain whether I was in dreamland or Reality. 

I ran back to the cell with the knife and upon seeing me,the Crone stood up with a smile.
