She snuggled closer to me again and I turned to look at her smiling. 

“Mine finally!‘Kaz said and smiled as her blouse shifted a bit and the mark on her shoulder became visible. 

The events of the previous night suddenly rushing back to me. 

She had come to my room to tell me something as she claimed,but I was surprised when instead of telling me anything,she k*ssed me. 

I drew her closer and k*ssed her like nothing else mattered just us. 

It was a simple k*ss but it held everything,it was passionate and it was a k*ss to salve every hurt she had ever dealt with,a k*ss to chase the fears and tensions from her veins. It was Gentle and tender and my veins raged with desire. 

Our tongues dancing and teasing as the k*ss became intense. I didn’t want the k*ss. to end either but we had to pull out to catch our breath.

I watched all the Zeta elders, all six of them as they tried to tell me that detaining Nathaniel wasn’t the best thing to do. 

I scoffed at their words,careful not to seem disrespectful as I do not want to cause any problems.

The other Elder, Max cleared him throat. 

“What are even the charges!. You didn’t consult us before doing anything. The only thing we heard is that the Alpha sent his men to come and take Nathaniel,that was even because we came to his house to check up on him as he didn’t attend the meeting.”

I knew the zeta elders were here for Nathaniel. The crone was always sabotaging their plans so they had some sort of grudge against her. 

I heard their grunts of complaints and curses as I left. The Zeta elders had done enough!. They considered themselves kingmakers of some sort. I scoffed at that. 

I went to the deliberation room and Greyson followed me. 

“Who do you have in mind for the judges?,” Greyson questioned and I sighed. I had no one in mind but I could think about the people I believe would be impartial and who had the growth and development of Silverpine at heart. 

“You will help me come up with people you Believe are worthy of being good judges”

“I want the list by tomorrow” I said as opened some files in front of me. 

There was a problem with one of our property to the south. Apparently a human has been claiming to own it. 

“Take care of this,” I said pushing the file towards him as I stood up to pour myself 

a drink. 

“I’ve marked her..” I was saying when I noticed the look of surprise on Greyson’s face.

“Alpha I don’t think that’s a good idea right now. We have the Zeta elders still angry about the fact that Nathaniel is being detained here. They wouldn’t take it lightly when then find out that you want to make an Omega your mate” Greyson explained.

He chuckled and sat down again, “When you arrested me,you seemed to have forgotten that it was I who made you an Alpha!. You bit the hands that fed you and now you will face the repercussions of that.” 

I chuckled quietly at that. “You forced Your granddaughter on me. You aided her as she destroyed this community and you were expecting respect?,” I paused and chuckled again. 

“I’m only here to tell you that you will have a trial and it won’t be the Zeta elders judging you. It will be people with the interest of Silverpine at heart.”
