I took one glance at myself in the mirror and sighed,nervousness suddenly taking a toll on me. 

Fidgeting with my fingers,I wondered if I looked good enough for the big day. The day I’ve been waiting for all my life. A doubtful frown smeared my face as I glanced down at the velvety red flowing dress. It was the one Eve had picked for me and it looked really good that I don’t know why I had to doubt it again. I really would’ve needed Someone else’s input on this matter,maybe Giselle as she’s the only other woman in this mansion besides the maids. Maybe Eve selected this dress because of its colour and her weird choice of colour. 

Sighing in frustration,I muttered a small curse as I was now stuck between putting my hair up or letting it out loose. Maybe leaving it in an updo wouldn’t be a nice choice if I was aiming for the powerful and Elegant Luna part. I had to let them. see me as someone that deserves that title. 

“Are you okay?,” the voice made me spin around so fast that I had to quickly balance myself up to stop myself from falling. 

“If you fall,I’ll always be there to catch you. So don’t worry about falling,” he said with his smooth deep voice and I rolled my eyes before bursting out laughing. 

He walked briskly,shutting the door behind him as he moved to stand beside me,while I continued to stare into the mirror. 

“Hmmmm,“He exclaimed,scratching his chin as a sign of concentration. I chuckled,folding my l*ps as I allowed him to access my outfit before giving his opinion. 

“You look really breathtakingly beautiful,” he grinned,gazing into my eyes and I smiled,noticing that his hair had been slicked back with a gel and he looked so hot. 

“You really think so?,” I asked, still unsure. 

“Mmmh mmmh,I don’t think so,I know so,” he nodded. 

“And you look really dashing,” I said, grinning and I meant it. He looks really handsome in his navy blue tuxedo and red tie.

“That’s Lucien and Amara,” I said and he nodded. I’m sure my smile could. compete with the sun right now and win. 

He tucked a few stray hairs back for me and I hugged him. 

“Thank you so much, I love it,” I told him and I was being honest. It was the best gift I’ve ever received. 

I sniffed and it was then I realized that I’ve been crying. 

“Amara?,” He questioned as he pulled away gently. 

“You don’t like it,do you?, that’s why you’re crying?” He asked, a look of sadness clouding his features. 

I choked out a laugh. “No no no, I’m crying because I love it so much. This makes me very happy,” I said,my voice heavy with emotions. 

With everything that has happened I feel so happy to still have Lucien. 

He smiled and brought his hands to my face,gently brushing away the tears. 

“Don’t cry,” he gushed softly before hugging me again and I closed my eyes, holding him softly to me as I took in his smell.

“Alpha it’s time,” it was Greyson and he muttered a greeting to me which I replied with a nod of my head. 

I watched them leave and glanced at the mirror once more, and I put on my heels. and my earrings and began to walk down,where every other person would be. 

Everywhere shone brightly and the moon was at its fullest. I silently muttered a prayer to the moon goddess,praying for strength, for my children and for Lucien. 

I found Giselle and Eve seated side by side. Giselle was putting on a green sleeveless dress that complemented her skin perfectly. 

It was Eve however who surprised me. She was wearing a purple long sleeved dress and her hair,she had left them in their natural colours. 

“What happened to you sister?,” I asked Eve,genuinely confused and Giselle. chuckled. 

“I have been trying to ask her that too,” she said and Eve chuckled. 

“A change would be nice,I thought. Perhaps I was wrong,” she stated and I sat down. beside her. 

“Wrong?No! No!. This suits you perfectly!. I remember when we were children,how you’d tell mum that you won’t wear anything else if it isn’t purple,” I smiled. “Purple used to be your favourite colour before the goddess knows what happened. that you started dressing like an emo witch,” I Said and she nodded with a smile. 

“That’s right. I used to love purple,so much.” She confirmed. 

“And it looks good on you,” Giselle quipped. 

“Well. How does becoming a Luna feel?,” Eve asked and my face turned pink. I covered my eyes with my hands and smiled. 

“I bet you must be so excited!,” Giselle added and I chuckled,removing my hand from my face. 

“The elders hate me..,I don’t know if I should be happy,I don’t even know if I deserve this,” I Exclaimed.

“They don’t hate you,they don’t even know you. They’re just intimidated by a weak omega as they say you are,becoming Luna,they’re intimidated by you,” Giselle said and I scoffed.. 

There’s no way they’re intimidated by me. They probably might even be plotting. to kill me. They think I’m weak and don’t deserve to be a Luna. They hate my kind. 

I have heard rumours about them having meetings to talk about how to make me not become Luna. 

“And there’s also the fact that the position of a Luna has always been reserved for an elder’s daughter,which of course you’re not,” Giselle mentioned and of course it 

was true. 

For a long time in Silverpine,the Luna had always come from prominent families and has always been a second ranked wolf. Lucien’s father wasn’t an Alpha because he took an omega as his mate. 

“Well,it’s nob*dy’s fault that Rielle botched that,She had a chance and she ruined. it for goddess knows whatever reason,” Eve interjected.
