Chapter 47 

After Rick’s revelation about Greyson,I asked him severally if he was sure and if this was the Man,he confirmed. 

I promised Eve that I wouldn’t do anything as I didn’t have proof anyways. But I couldn’t help but wonder what Greyson was doing at my children’s school. It couldn’t have been when Lucien was poisoned,my children were already abducted then. 

I needed to see Lucien, I needed to confirm something from him. I needed to know,to be sure. 

I walked briskly and asked a guard and they told me he would be in the deliberation room. 

Immediately I walked into the room, my heart sank and my breath hitched in my throat. The scene before me was like a punch to the gut,

Tears welled up in her eyes, blurring my vision, but I refused to let them fall,I wouldn’t give Rielle that satisfaction. I wanted to just run away,to flee but Instead, I mustered the strength to confront the scene before me.

His face held no expression as he just nodded.
