Melanie groaned and squeezed her eyes, flinging them open after a short while.

She felt tired and her head was pounding.

As she sat up she gently looked around to see where she was, she was on a well kept bed and her clothes were now changed to something more comfortable.

As she made to step down from the bed the door flung open and lulu ran into the room in a swift. She had a blissful and happy face on.

"I was afraid you will not come back to us, you were gone for two years as we had to wait for you for a long time! Thank goodness your back!"

Lulu said at once and Melanie chuckled at her craziness.

"I had a hard time finding a suitable body to dwell in, thank goodness I found Kendall."

Melanie said as lulu quickly sat down besides her.

"I'm Kendall, Melanie and Kendall are the same person now, you can call me both! *

She replied and Lulu laughed.

She added while Melanie snorted and stood up from the bed.

She asked looking around the whole room.

"lulu. Where are you, can you help me get a pair of clean clothes from your own cloths? *

As she thought about what to wear she played with her fingers,the former cloth has mistakenly gotten soaked in the water when she went on to take her bath

She slowly walked over to the closet she could see and opened it carefully.

A handfull of clothes were stacked in it so she chooses a large shirt and put it on.

The shorts were too big for her.

There was a knock on the door, she did not reply out of fear but the door opened slowly and he came in.

He had grown more handsome and manly through the past two years and his physique was more build now.

Melanie sighed and itches her head as she stared at him, lacking what to do or say.

He stared at her for a moment before placing the tray he had on the nearby table and turning to face her.

She could feel his eyes all over her, but she kept hers pointed to the ground.

"you should come on and have something! "

He said meekly and she nodded her head in disagreement.

She said but her stomach betrayed her at the moment as it made a loud rumble sound.

She heard him chuckle and she embarassedly ran to the table and sat down on it slowly without him telling her anything again.

He gently drew a seat from across him and placed it right next to her.

Then he uncovered the food and asked her to eat.

But Melanie was not able to eat it as all she felt was his eyes on her while she chew on her food which was uncomfortable.

"how have you being? "

She asked, trying to reduced the Awkwardness.

"miserable! "

He asked her and she almost choked on her food.

"the thing is.. I was not supposed to tell anyone it was me unuptill I complete my task. I couldn't risk it!

She said.

She gently dropped the spoon in her hands and faced him with a flushed face.

"I owe you a thousand times much more than you owe me, but since you've said thank you to me then it will be bad to reject it.

"you and I are mates but we don't act like one.

Why don’t we date for sometime first, I'd want to experience how dating a girl is.

She smiled shyly and but bite her lips.

"just that I'm scared, I no longer have the face you know me with. I'm a new person entirely why will you still want to date me? "

She asked him.

"don’t you think that question is stupid? Whether you don't have your face or you have it I still won't mind.

Melanie watched from where she sat as the crown was gently placed on Cole's head

It's being a week since things settled for better and the date has being chosen for him to finally get his crown

He was reluctant at first but after being disturbed to take his place he gave in.

It was a tradition that an alpha couldn't get crowned without his mate by his side and for Cole who didn't have a mate it was a hectic task he had to take care of, he had to go on a search for his mate for three days.

He said, she smiled and gave him a friendly hug, Ryker was besides her and he didn't like it at all. They heard a loud growl from besides them and looked to see the human girl having a killing look on.

The lady growled and Melanie laughed and put her hands Iwft up in the air as if she was doing a surrender,se had forgot that she was still hugging him.

"I'm sorry miss... It was just a harmless hug! *

She said but the lady was still angry.

"I said get a way from him!"

The lady growled again and dragged Melanie from Cole forcefully, she missed a step and fell to the ground, spraining her ankle.

"how dare you! *

Ryker growled and made to grab the lady by the neck but Cole stepped in front of him.

He gnashed his teeth and kicked the ground.

Melanie was wincing on the floor in pains as she tried to sit up.

"sorry babe.. Does it hurt too much.. I'll take a look at it,it should be able to heal soon. *

He cooed to her and took her from the floor into his arms.

Cole was looking at his mate with disbelief.

"you better warn you mate Cole. You better do,you know what I'm capable of if you hurt my mate. I don't care if the nasty lady here is a girl or is human, she should be able to control her jealousy at some point!

He snapped and left with her in arms.

Melanie cooed and he shot her a deep gaze but continued walking away in silence.

***Three days later.***

Melanie stared down at the ring on her fingers, she smiled shyly and touched it slowly.

Ryker had just asked her to marry him and she immediately said yes,she wanted to tie the knot with him.

"dear alpha. I thought you said we should date for some time before we get married.

Look at you now haha, your already rushing things.. "

She mumbled to her self.

The door was dragged open shortly and lulu came in, she was rushing.

"Melanie! *

She shrieked and ran to sit near her friend.

"I heard the alpha telling my mate to prepare for a ceremony,are you getting married? "

She asked her fiend who nodded shyly.

"OMG. I can't wait, finally."

Lulu mumbled and Melanie hit her playfully.

"we better go tell your mom about it, she needs to prepare too! "

Lulu shrieked and dragged Melanie up from the chair.
