Chapter 63. Subtitle : the wedding . *** Melanie's POV*** "You look drop dead gorgeous dear friend!" Lulu shrieked as she take a glance at me in the mirror. I had a beautiful white wedding dress on and the dress was one to be praised. I didn't want anything bulky for my wedding, just simple and nice. Lulu and mom seemed to have understood me quiet well and gave me just what I wanted and made sure to make it just the way I asked for it. The upper part was just an off shoulder top with diamond stones covering the top part of it. The stones made it stand out and It glittered whenever a ray of light flashes it. There was a simple oval cut in the chest that shows uff the shapes of my cleavage and bust. The dress was slim all through, it stopped right below my feet and gently swept the ground. It was straight and had a very long slit from the thighs down to the last drop of the dress. It was simple yet enticing. "now for the last piee..ice just the perfect choker necklace for you my dear..." Mom cooed and gently placed a beautiful pearl necklace around my neck. It was really nice and screamed wealth. "carefully, be careful not to ruin her make up mother! * Lulu said and mom laughed it away and turned to leave. "I'll check if your ur father is ready.. You ladies have the rest of the thirty minutes to finish up!" Mom said and placed a kiss on my forehead before turning and exiting the room. There was a knock on the door shortly and it was drowned open. Cole's mate showed up right in front of the door. “hil” She greeted and I smiled and waved back at her. Lulu looked at her with uneasyness,it seemed she was not happy to see the lady. "what do you want miss? Your mate is not here so shoo..." Lulu snapped with a hoarse voice. I laughed and touched her shoulders indicating that I could handle it. "don't mind her dear. You can come on in.." I said gently and she smiled at me. "hii Melanie. We didn't get time to introduce ourselves the other time since I was too busy getting jealous of you.. ermmm....i sorry about pushing you off to the ground the other day.. Is your leg fine now? " She asked and I smiled. Lulu was throwing her a dead glance and stood hands akimbo right besides me like she owns me. Lulu had gone ballastic when the news of Cole's mate pushing me to the floor got to her hearing. She was angry and said "because she is now Luna doesn't mean she can look down on you now, you are and will always be the strongest female in the whole werewolf packs.” And I was really happy she defended me. "I'm fine now thank... And it's okay, I understand you were just jealous. Don't worry, you didn't mean any harm, and even I will be angry if anyone hugs my mate like that so the feeling is mutual. ." I said and she smiled at me genuinely. "thank you Melanie. I'm Danielle.. Nice meeting you, and a very big congratulations on your wedding day. Do you mind if I tag along with you? " She greeted and asked at the same time. "aah. That will be great, right lulu? * I asked and nudge her but she only squeezed her face, nodded and then look away. She was till angry. "come on bae.. " I called and she sighed. "well you can tag along human, but just know that I don't like you and don't expect to get along with me just because you are now on good terms with Melanie! * Lulu snapped and left. I sighed and looked at Danielle. "I'm sorry, she's not really that rude. She is just annoyed that you were disrespectful, she thinks your too prideful because your the alpha's mate. Don't worry,she will come around..." I said and she nodded. "I know I was really rude.. Sorry.." She apologised again and I groaned. "come on!" I cooed and grabbed her hands, dragging her to the mirror. The door busted open for the umpteenth time as soon as we were about to get to work and an angry looking Charlie barged in. I gasped as soon as I saw her from the mirror. She didn't look happy at all. "miss me? She asked with a hint of anger in her voice. "or did you forget I ever exist? She added. She was standing right behind me in less than ten seconds. "Charlie..... It's being so long I saw you,im sorry I didn't come look for you as soon as I came... How have you being? * I asked her with a wide smile on my face, but she was not smiling at me at all. "oh please... You really are gonna deny that you don't forget me with you having two hot and pretty new friends. Of course you won't remember a low life like me! " She snapped and threw her arms in the air. I gently walked towards her and hugged her. Her tensed body relaxed a bit and she stop talking. "I won't lie that I did not forgot you, and I'm sorry I did, just that I had too much on my plate to handle and we didn't keep in touch for a long time since I left on my quest. I'm sorry dear, sorry..." I apologized sincerely to her and I felt her hug me back. " don't worry phoenix. I'm not angry with you, it was me who didn't stand by you when you were out there in trouble. I'm sorry I don't, would you forgive me? * She asked I hit her playfully and disengaged from the hug. "shut up strong girl. Oh this is Cole's mate... Danielle this is my very first friend Charlie." I cooed. "don’t you think lulu will be annoyed if you called some other person your first friend.. Anyways nice meeting you Charlie,im Danielle.. Danielle joked and both Melanie and Charlie began laughing. "well thank you for trying to defend my friendship human, that just earned you my approval to join my league of friends with Melanie, although you were only joking. * They suddenly heard a voice from behind them and they turned to see lulu leaning on the door. They all bursted out laughing. "don’t you think you should ask for permission from from the head girl first before you bring in another member or join, I didn't approve of even you yet! * Charlie said playfully and lulu hit her on the head. "there is no way your her best friend.. Right Melanie? * She asked and I laughed. "I'm not saying who my best friend is ladies.. But I may say it! " I joined in the tease. The ladies laughed as we joked that we even forgot we were supposed to get ready in thirty minutes. Till door opened shortly and mom came in looking at us in disbelief. "you girls still haven't gotten into your dresses yet when the ceremony is only but in five minutes time? * She snapped at us and I itched my head. "oh my goodness... The dress! We all should hurry up and get dressed! * Lulu cooed and dashed into the closet, mom shook her head and turned to leave. "your father will be waiting for you in front of the garden! * She said and exit the room without looking at me. Somehow I felt a mixed feeling about it. I gently walked towards the door and made to open it, both lulu,charlie and Danielle had went in to change into something presentable and I could hear their chattering and clamouring voices as they chat in the closet. The moment I opened the door a hand fell from the doorknob. I was surprised to see who it was. "what are you two doing standing out here? * I asked them both,they couldn't look me in the eyes and only kept their eyes glued to the floor. "are you gonna keep quiet for the whole time? * I asked them and Candice cleared her throat and faced me. "we actually wanted to come in and say hello but we were afraid that you my not want to see us so we were just about to leave. I'm sorry if we bothered you! " She apologized It was the first time I had heard Candice speak to me in such soft hushed voice. "why will you two be afraid of me? I don't bite. * I said and they both glanced t each other. "we are sorry if we've offended you, we just thought that we should make up with you and apologize sincerely since we are all related. It was bad of us to treat you in that way... " It was Quincy that spoke this time. I was shocked. "we are sorry for what we did in the past Melanie. We will be in our best behaviours from now on! * Candice said and I smiled. "you two should come along to walk me to the aisle, you both owe me one.. " I said and they looked at me in surprise. But before they could say any further the door busted open shortly and the three other ladies shoes up. "we should hurry, we don't wanna be late... " Lulu cooed and grabbed my hand. I held my dress gently as I walked on my heels, trying to walk softly at a fast past. The other ladies followed behind us. I sighed and looked besides me,my father had a smile face on as he walked me down the aisle. We haven't talked much and I didn't know what to say to him when we talk either. I just kept shut. Walked along with him, trying hard to smile to the audience as much as I can. The whole Gardnen was filled up to the brim with people I didn't even know existed. As we reached the front my father gently stared at Ryker who was looking all dashing in his suites as If thinking of something before handing me over to him gently. As I turned to stare at him I couldn't help but gawk at how fabulously handsome he looked. I could not take my eyes off him and he stared into mine too. I took time to examine his looks. He had a pair of nice suites on and a black well polished shoes, his hair was styled and pulled back in a gel style and his eyes were full of energy. His looks were soo simple just like mine, yet enticing.
