As Afini and Alaelra hugged each other in a warm and loving embrace before a roar could be heardechoing from high up in the sky above.

They all then looked up to the sky and saw the Dark Sorcerer riding his Black Death Beast searching of the king.

Afini and Alaelra then looked at each other and understood that they had to stop the Dark Sorcerer because if his kind evil was left unchecked he would end up spreading chaos and misery across the lands beyond Buganbal long after he had had his revenge on the king.

Afini and Alaelra understood the madness of the Dark Sorcerer inflicted upon him by the very dark powers he possessed, his madness would not allow him to stop spilling blood and tormenting others even if he got to the king and enacts his revenge.

Afini and Alaelra also understood that they had to save the king as well, even though he had caused them so much pain their good hearts would not allow them stand by and let the king suffer in the hands of the Dark Sorcerer.

Afini and Alaelra then turned back to their children with a serious look on their faces.

“Listen up Anja, Braiba, we need you both to go back home, where it’s safe” said Afini.

“But what about you two?” asked Anja?

Afini and Alaelra then looked at each other not sure how to answer their son’s question.

“Just go, you and Braiba will be safe back home” said Afini.

“No, I’m not leaving you here, either we all go together or none at all” said Anja.

“Stop being difficult Anja” said Afini.

“I don’t care what you say I’m not going anywhere” said Anja refusing to leave his father.

ENOUGH OF THIS ANJA LEAVE NOW!!!!!” said Afini with a thunderous voice with his eyes glowing lightning.

“NO” replied Anja with his own thunderous voice just like that of his father with his eyes glowing like lightning as well, refusing to obey a direct command from his father for the very first time.

The two storm maker stared at each other with their eyes glowing like lightning with as voice so deep that it sounded like thunder that caused the ground around them to quake and shake.

While Afini was trying to convince his son to leave Alaelra turned to her daughter, knowing she was much more level headed and mature than Anja and she would better understand how serious their current situation was and why they needed to leave.

“Braiba” said Alaelra.

“Yes mother” said Braiba.

“You know why you and Anja have to leave” said Alaelra.

“Yes mother” said Braiba trying her best to hold back the tears that stood at the very edge of her eyes as she spoke.

“Good, now please can you handle your brother” said Alaelra.

“Okay” said Braiba before she went to Anja who stood his ground before their father, refusing to leave them to face the Dark Sorcerer alone.

“Anja, can I talk to you for a moment” asked Braiba softly.

Anja then turned to his sister.

He could tell that she was trying desperately to hold back her eyes.

“What’s wrong Braiba?” asked Anja.

“Forgive me brother but I’m doing this for you own good” said Braiba.

“Forgive you for…” before Anja could complete his sentence Braiba whispered softly, “sleep”.

Anja then felt an immense urge to sleep, he then collapsed about to fall down to the ground but Braiba managed to catch him before he could reach the ground.

“Don’t worry father I’ll make sure we get home; I promise” said Braiba.

Afini could see the pain in her eyes; it was identical to the same pain he saw in Anja’s eyes as he spoke to him with his thunderous voice.

She too wished they didn’t have to leave their parent but she also understood to that it was for their own good, something Anja too knew but was too stubborn to accept.

“Be careful Braiba” said Afini.

“I will, I promise” said Braiba.

Then Afini, Alaelra and Braiba with Anja in her hands shared a hug, fearing it would be the last embrace they would every have together.

“Be safe both of you and try to keep your brother out of trouble” said Alaelra.

“I’ll try my best” said Braiba as she lost the strength to hold back her tears and so they fell like rain droplets.

“Stop that my child” said Afini as he went to her and wiped away her tears.

“It’s only storm makes that are allowed to make rain. Stop wasting those beautiful tears of yours my child” said Afini.

“I’m father, what if you and mother don’t…” Braiba couldn’t even bring herself to complete the sentence.

“It will be okay my child. My father, your grandfather once told me that people never really die and whenever they take their last breath and close their forever they go up there” said Afini as he pointed high up to the night sky. sᴇaʀᴄh thᴇ FɪndNøvel.ɴᴇt website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

“There they become stars and watch over those they love who are still alive so if anything happens to me and your mother, just look up at the night sky and know we will be right there watching you” said Afini.

Braiba then looked at her father and mustered every ounce of her strength to stop her tears from continuing to fall.

“I love you father” said Braiba as she hugged her father tightly in a loving embrace.

“I love you too my child” said Afini as he hugged his daughter back.

Alaelra smiled at the warm and loving display of affection between her daughter and her beloved, it truly a pleasant sight to see and it even made her shed a small tear.

Braiba then left with Anja asleep on her arms.

Afini then sighed as he watched his two children grow up.

“Do you think they will be fine without us?” asked Afini knowing they were not going to ever return to their children.

“They will, as long as they have each other” said Alaelra.

Afini then took a deep breath and brought his axe.

“Alright then let’s finish this fight” said Afini before he and Alaelra disappeared in a flash of light and lightning to face the Dark Sorcerer in a battle they knew they could not win.

The Dark Sorcerer, using the Black Death Beast to track then scent of the king found the king, Delamu and Amasu running as fast as they could away from the monsters that roamed the streets.

The Dark Sorcerer with a simple snap of his finger stopped the monsters from attacking them, wanting to retrieve the king himself.

The Dark Sorcerer then rode his beast and landed it in front of Delamu, Amasu and the king.

“Hello your majesty, oh wait I can’t really call you that any more considering your kingdom is literally falling apart” said the Dark Sorcerer.

Delamu then brought out his sword and stood before the Dark Sorcerer without an ounce of fear in his mind.

“I made a vow to protect the king and Buganbal from evil like you with my life and I’m not about to break it” said Delamu.

“Hmm, I wonder, are you brave and honorable or just a fool, either way you will meet the same fate as anybody who dares oppose me” said the Dark Sorcerer.

The Dark Sorcerer then looked at his beast and commanded it to attack Delamu.

The beast the opened it mouth and released its thick dark poisonous smoke straight for Delamu.

“Father” said Amasu as he rushed in front of his father with his sword out to protect him from the smoke knowing how dangerous it was from reading about it in his father journal.

“Get out of the way son” said Delamu to his son but even if Amasu tried to run the smoke would still reach him as moved faster than Amasu could run.

Delamu without a second thought in mind rushed to his son and used his body as a shield to protect Amasu from the smoke, knowing that by doing so he would die but still choosing to do it despite knowing.

The smoke burnt all of Delamu’s skin and flesh leaving behind only his bone.

“Father” said Amasu horrified with tears falling down from his eyes as he looked at the pile of bone that was once his father.

Amasu then set his sights on the Dark Sorcerer who just smiled wicked and watched as Delamu’s bones fell down to the ground with his sword falling on the Delamu’s bones.

Driven by sadness and grief he rushed to the Dark Sorcerer with his sword, fueled by nothing but hatred for the Dark Sorcerer for killing his father he charged straight for him with his sword about to strike the Dark Sorcerer but before he could reach him the Dark Sorcerer stopped Amasu with his magic.

Amasu now stood face to face with the Dark Sorcerer, frozen and unable to move his legs or arms to strike him.

The Dark Sorcerer then snapped his finger and then Amasu fell down to the ground with his body restrained to the ground by the Dark Sorcerer’s magic.

“It would be wise of you to stay down if you want to avoid face a fate worse than him” said the Dark Sorcerer pointing at Delamu’s bones.

“You monster, he was my father, I’ll will have your head for this” said Amasu as he tried to free himself from the Dark Sorcerer’s magic that held him in place on the ground.

“That explains why you are like this; you must have inherited his foolish mind” said the Dark Sorcerer.

“How dare you, you monster” said Amasu enraged by the way the Dark Sorcerer disrespected not just him but his now late father.

The Dark Sorcerer looked at Amasu and how he tried desperately to free so he could enact his revenge on him for killing his father and then smiled, finding Amasu’s hatred for him amazing.

The Dark Sorcerer then set his sights on the king.

“Your majesty I believe you and I have an argent matter to attend to” said the Dark Sorcerer with a wicked smile on his face.

The Dark Sorcerer then used his magic to lift the king off ground and bring him to him.

“You have no idea how long I’ve waited for this day, to look you in the eye and see nothing but fear and horror. Your family has brought me so much pain and misery and now it’s time for me to pay you all back of everything you made me go through” said the Dark Sorcerer before snapping his finger.

Then the king felt a surge of pain that flowed through his entire body, causing him to scream and shout from the unendurable pain.

“Tell me king, do you know what true torment feels like?It isn’t physical; no, it’s a form a pain that goes beyond the body and straight into the soul. It tears the heart apart, leaving beyond a black void that feels only pain and misery” said the Dark Sorcerer with tears falling down from his eyes.

As the tears fell down from the Dark Sorcerer’s eyes the king felt the pain increase almost as though the sadness of the Dark Sorcerer increased the pain his magic inflicted upon him.

The Dark Sorcerer then snapped his finger once again and the pain the king felt disappeared.

“Don’t worry king, I will not kill, no death is much too good for you. I will torment and torture you, day and night, take everything away from you and make you watch as I take the one thing you value more than your life, your daughter and even after doing all that I will refuse to kill you. I will watch you suffer knowing that all the pain I caused you was of the pain your family gave me” said the Dark Sorcerer.

The king looked at the Dark Sorcerer before bowing his head down in shame as the Dark Sorcerer was a product of his family, their greatest mistake, one he would have to suffer for.

“Please, have mercy on my child; she is far purer than me. She does not deserve to suffer for the sins of my family’s past” said the king begging and pleading with the Dark Sorcerer to spare his daughter.

“Did I deserve to suffer the pain your family gave me; I have no name or family because them. I don’t care if your daughter is purer than divine water, she will suffer and die while you watch as kill her with my bare hands” said the Dark Sorcerer.

The king then bowed down his head once again, this time lower with tears falling down from his eyes.

“Don’t cry my king; I haven’t started to torment you yet. I don’t want your tears to be a free reward; I want to work hard in tormenting you for them” said the Dark Sorcerer with a wicked smile on his face.

Then suddenly a lightning bolt appeared and struck the Dark Sorcerer.

The Dark Sorcerer just smiled, unharmed by the lightning bolt that struck him.

“Storm Maker, Sorceress you have finally arrived” said the Dark Sorcerer with even turning around to see Afini and Alaelra who were now standing behind him.

Afini then saw Delamu’s sword next to his pile of bones and understood what the Dark Sorcerer had done to his dear friend.

“You will pay for what you did to Delamu you monster” said Afini driven with pure rage with his eyes glowing like lightning and voice echoing like thunder.

Alaelra and Afini then readied themselves for battle with sparks of lightning and magic flowing through their body.

The Dark Sorcerer just smiled, amused by how Afini and Alaelra can find the strength to challenge him even though he clearly out classed them in power and strength.

Even though the Dark Sorcerer was far more powerful than both Afini and Alaelra he understood that the both of them together was a force he could not afford to underestimate especially when he was so close to his goal.
