Chapter Nine: The Sons of Enya Love Carson and the Eight

Third-Person POV

Meanwhile in the heavens above where all the gods and goddesses watch over their creations, four young men- four young strapping demigods with snakes for hair (cut short) and wearing green robes- were watching the action in Malachi DuBauer’s bedroom from their shared crystal ball and are intrigued with how Malachi was enjoying himself with the Magnificent Eight Alphas. And all of them felt the bond that they not only shared between themselves but also the bond with Malachi and the eight Alphas as they knew that the prophecy of the Sun God Wolf was set to be fulfilled.

The young Gorgon men themselves were known as the Sons of Enya (the patron saint of the Gorgons and hunters and the nephews of the Moon Goddess) and they knew that the time was coming to reveal themselves to Malachi as he will have many trials to endure. Their names were Galen Delphinos (the male Gorgon at the north), Aivox Wyndham (at the east), Cyler Xavier (at the west), and Veronique Michelon (at the south).

“Such a beauty, our Moon Wolf Prince,” commented Galen, his eyes never leaving the cocoa-skinned prince. “A perfect clone of his father- our uncle and soon-to-be father-in-law.”

“Agreed, brother,” replied Aivox. “Lips plump as a strawberry and rose-red. Hair like the night. Skin like chocolate and his eyes like moonlit copper pennies.”

“Don’t forget about his body that reminds me of that Beyonce chick,” Cyler commented. “Such a luscious frame that makes me want to come out of hiding and claim him and the other guys as well.”

“Peace, brother,” Veronique sternly reminded his brother, though his focus was trained on the eight Alphas. “I want the Alphas to claim us as well, make them make us moan underneath them. How I wish we could come out of hiding right now and do so.”

“Ah, my sons,” a woman’s bemused voice replied. “Looks like you four have felt the click already.”

All four Gorgon princes whirled around to see their mother Enya watching over them, with her snake hair flowing and hissing with pride. She smirked at them. “At ease, my sons,” she commented as she noticed their mortified looks. “I knew that this day was long coming.”

“Even so, mother, we knew that it was wrong for us to spy on our mate even if he has no idea on who we are just yet,” Aivox replied, his and his brothers’ heads bowed in shame.

“Ah, Aivox. You need not fear. The time will soon come for you to meet my nephew- your mate- as well as the eight Alphas, but not yet,” Enya replied.

“But it will happen,” the voice of the Moon Goddess rang as She came out of the darkness in her all-white gown with her flowing hair in the winds. “And your sons, Enya, will need to appear as soon as possible with two groups of threats soon manifesting.”

“These threats want to attempt to change the fates planned for my Malachi with the same matter as Ryan and Regan Zallenda have with Carson- only one group wants to claim the Eight Alphas and the second group- twin brothers- want to claim Malachi. They will make an alliance, yet will fall apart with only one following through with the plans,” Trinity commented.

“Outrage!” Veronique hissed, cursing in ancient Greek.

“Madness,” Enya agreed, frowning at the mention of the late Regan and Ryan Zallenda. “Will anyone learn that to mess with the fates of the gods and goddesses is to insult us?”

“Be at peace, my family,” She replied, Her voice making the earth tremble before them. “We must be ready to prepare Malachi of his royal duties and to meet the Gorgon Quadruplets. And it won’t be long until he also meets his thirteenth and final mate.”

“Who is the thirteenth mate, Auntie?” Cyler wanted to know.

The Moon Goddess smiled widely. “Let’s just say that he will have a volatile temper, yet will be merciful and loving...just like him,” she replied. “But trust in my plan and each other. But most of all, trust yourselves.”

And with that, the Moon Goddess took Her leave with Enya following suit.

The four brothers looked at each other with surprise and wonder in their eyes, all of them having one thought in mind: to protect and love their mates and each other as well as prepare themselves for the future ahead of them.
