Zach's POV

"What?!" Kimberly now screaming. "This must be some type of misunderstanding, Max Sr killed saints, mother?"

"Yes this came out of his mouth himself, I have no reason to lie." my sister explained, Kim sighed and I know the truth was finally out. It was funny because now I felt like all this was for nothing.

Even though he kidnapped Lynn, I assumed it was for some selfish reason. I just concluded that it wasn't, it was more than met the eye. It made me feel for him and it made me so mad, why should I feel bad for his bitch ass. It woulda have been so easy just to kill him after I got everyone safely away.

Like he wasn't the villain at all if he was telling the truth, but it made me wonder if it is true he wouldn't have-

"Hey Kim, did he hurt you at all ?" I asked her while finally looking at her directly. She looked down after meeting my eyes for just a second, "Um no he didn't hurt me, he just gave me some choices and fed me till I made up my mind. Never beat me or nothing crazy"

Sigh,

He was a good dude to a certain extent, it made me so mad. First, he made me do his dirty work, then he marked the one I love the most in this world, and last but not least he took my sister. This was bullshit.

"He has something planned, he just wants to gain us as allies. Fuck his objective, let's just get back to the pack grounds as fast as possible." I told them breaking the silence from my previous question.

"Brother I think he's a good person he wouldn't lie to me at least."

"I dunno, I kinda agree with Lynn's perspective. Maybe he isn't all that bad ?" Kim said shrugging, this was bad he already won them over. At this point, we were having a conversation that they already had internally, and made up their mind to as well.

"I suppose he might be telling the truth, but it's not a bet I would be willing to take, I hear y'all but ion wanna hear it" I told them while walking out towards my bedroom I needed to think to myself, I needed a plan and fast before they made their first move.

Max Jr Pov

The warrior wolves attacked us hard and fast, it only took them seconds to surround us. The one named Cody attacked first aiming for my throat, I dodged to the right just missing his teeth an inches. I charged his side making him fall over while trying to dig into his abdomen with my teeth and claws.

I got a few scratches and bites in before another wolf charged into my side making me fall but unlike my opponent I had my dad jump in and take over. He instantly collided with him and they both were snapping at each other necks. It was a sight to behold.

I turned around, moving and observing my surroundings. My sister was busy viscously attacking a poor wolf, she already had a severed paw in her mouth. I turned again and saw my beta attacking as well but not winning I started to run to help him and saw that his mate had it under control.

She jumped from behind him swooped under her opponent's belly and ripped it open with grace, Showing its wolf guts. It yelped and then fell over slowly fading out of this small battle. She licks and licks on my Betas wounds healing him slowly.

It was amazing the love a mate could bring you, in and out of battle, it was something to hear but to see was better than any romance movie or book. My heart clenched slightly.

Mate,

I still needed my mate beside me, I wanted her to lick my wounds and run off into battle with me as well. My right leg felt like it was suddenly on fire, I turned my head and scratched at the culprit. A smaller wolf wanting to prove itself by tearing into my legs tendons, I yelped in pain and then bit the nape of his neck snapping it in one bite.

I hated hurting omegas and weaker wolves, I felt like it wasn't enough of a challenge for me and my wolf. I was the alpha's son, heir to the throne. I could take a little competition, more than a little to be honest I was made for this.

I was infuriated to learn that this pathetic excuse for alpha would send a young wolf to fight in our place. Our bloodline and warriors are renowned for being some of the best, and the thought of someone disrespecting me made me feel sick.

I howled with pain and growled deeply with bloody canines showing. I instantly knew it was time to get serious. I was linking to everyone and told them to go easy on the weaker ones. If you can, we can take some back with us. And Then I went back to the first wolf that attacked me initially. Cody, he was busy trying to attack Justin, my gamma. I intervened instantly.

Despite being weaker than me and facing a stronger opponent, Justin fought bravely as my gamma and proved a to be great fighter. The fight was unfair from the beginning, but Justin refused to give up so easily.

As I approached them, a link appeared.

MOVE!

Reacting instinctually, I moved slightly and caught a glimpse of Maxine running past me in a blur. Her fur was engulfed in a stunning mix of white and blue flames, illuminating her black wolf form. It was truly a mesmerizing sight to behold.

She instinctively bit down on Cody's neck crushing his spine almost immediately. While simultaneously lighting his body aflame with the same bite. He fell limp and cried out in pain as he was burned alive.

My sister is special just as I am and now I fully understand. She is the Flame Phoenix and I am the Ice Dragon. Twins of Destiny...........

Sorry for the hold up 😮‍💨 it's getting good ain't it? I'm excited to say that I will be posting two uploads this week; that's great news ain't it! I look forward to writing the next four chapters and seeing where the story goes with you guys. As for the last chapter, I'm torn between Team Saint and Team Max. Both characters have their unique qualities, and it's difficult to choose. make sure to leave your thoughts in the comments. Thanks for rocking with me🏆
