Chapter 4: Palace Rules
After the announcement, Froilan lead us to the Palace. I was so amazed with what my eyes saw. It was my first time to enter the Palace, oh yeah. It was our first eventually. Faye was on my right side, and obviously she’s amazed too. But I wasn’t supposed to be here, mom and dad would probably worried about me this time. Amber, is the one responsible with this.
“Chloe, I’m so surprised earlier when your name called.” she said while rolling her eyes all over the palace.
“I’m surprised too.” I replied.
“You said you’d not join the competition. What makes your mind changed?” she asked me,
“I don’t. It was Amber’s idea. I don’t even know this after all. I will confront her when I get home.” I answered.
“But its okey! Just enjoy the competition. I heared some gossips earlier that Prince David is more handsome than Prince Dale. Isn’t it exciting. I’m so excited to see him.” she almost whispered while a smile painted on her face.
This is not supposed to happen. Probably, by this time I’m all alone in my room enjoying my saturday listening to my favorite music or having marathon with Nicholas Sparks novels. But in one day, my life changed. Here I am, joining the ladies in a competition wherein I am not prepared and don’t have any idea. That is the reason why she asked me earlier, why I am wearing this shirt and jeans. Why she wanted me to dress up and wear the red dress dad gave me. That’s the only dress I have. It was dad’s birthday present last month. Mostly, I have shirts and jeans in my closet. And nothing more.
Friolan lead us in a room wherein
there are so many elegant furtitures, porcelain, paintings and others. Everyone’s amazed. But I know, those ladies I am with right now is not like me. Like Faye, they also looked like from the middle class family. While, I am from the lowest. I am not belong here. My mind interrupt from flying when Froilan entered the room.
“Ladies, here are the instructions before you could properly entered the competition.” he said, the gaved us a piece of paper. I read it carefully.
Ladies, welcome to the Kingdom of Oreon the palace of King William, Prince Dale and Princess Kaitlyn and Prince David. Your journey will start today.
But before you could officially enter the competition, here are some rules for you to follow:
1) You are given one hour to go back home. Pack your things, see your family and asked for wish a luck.
2) Gadgets are not allowed. No visiting hours for about forty five (45) days---except special occasions like birthdays and etc.
3) Follow rules. No to having troubles. If you break the rules, automatically you would kick out. No more explanations.
4) Act like a lady. Prepare to be a princess. You’ll gonna do some activities, so be prepared all the time.
5) Survive. The most crucial part of the competition. The stronger...The better...... Are you brave enough?
6) Let the prince chose you. Be the one. Be the Princess. Have the Tiara...
