Chapter 5: Saying Goodbye.

I still can't believed this is happening. After we read the rules, Froilan told us to go back home and pack our things. I felt so helpless, I can't back out anymore.

After a few minutes, we arrived at home. I gently grab the door knob and then I was so surprised when Mom and Dad hug me so tight. I looked at them.

"We're so happy that you made it, why you don't tell us that you joined the competition?" mom asked me, waiting for my answer.

"I'm sorry Mom.. But i don't join the competition. Its Amber. She registered my name without consulting me first." I said looking at Ambers direction. Then she raised her two hands. Mom and Dad looked at her too, waiting for her explanations.

"I just wanted to help you." she said.

"Then give me reasons why you wanted to help me? I told you that I don't want to join the competition but you never listen Amber and you hide it to me. Now what will I do now? I can't see you all for forty five days." I said, with teary eyes.

"I'm sorry...but your lucky anyway. Everybody is so envious and hoping they can join too. The Prince, aren't you excited to see him? I'm sure his more handsome than Prince Dale."

"I'm not interested with the Prince or to anyone. I will miss half of my life, being in school." I said, then lean on my back to the wall. Mom and Dad looked at me with sympathy but they couldn't hide, I know they were excited that I joined the competition. It was a great honor to be one. And I want them to be happy. So, I finally came up my mind. I will continue the competition, as if I had a choice. I breathe deeply and walked towards them. "Mom, Dad I loved you. You know that and I want you to be proud of me, so I decided to continue." I said. I saw the happiness and greatfulness in there faces. I hug them tight. "Where so happy for you darling, don't worry about us. Will be fine here." mom said,

"Stop the drama gaiz! Why not start to fixed your things?" amber exclaimed, she's right I almost forgot i only have thirty minutes to pack my things. I consumed so much time arguing with my sister, even at the end I'm the loser. Mom and Dad helped me preparing my things. They where so supportive with the competition. After a few minutes, we go down stairs and I heard the voice of one of the guy who take me a ride home.

"Miss Hamilton, your time is about to end." he reminded me.

I hugged mom and dad for the last time, I'm gonna missed them so much. I'm not already leaving but I felt the home sick. My school, my friends, our house, Mom and Dad and Amber too even if we had a fight often. I'm just thankful because Faye is there too, so I feel the loneliness a bit.

"It's time. Miss Hamilton. We have to leave now." the guy said,

"Mom, Dad I have to leave. See you in forty five days or a couple of days maybe. I said,then looked at Ambers direction. You owe me a lot little sister. Take good care of Mom and Dad okey?"

"Okey. Take care too." then I hugged her tight. I will miss our fights and our bonding too. My life will change from now on.
