Clara looked at him and smiled, “Getting a few words from the elders, it’s not a big deal! Don’t take it so seriously! We finally have a chance to live together as a family, I don’t want a small thing like this to distance you from your parents”
Emmett sighed, “You’re the best wife in the world.”

“No rush, your health comes first, don’t stay up late” Emmett stood up, leading Clara to the balcony, ‘Look at this city, so many of these buildings are mine, I want to share them with you.”

“And that grey building?”
Emmett nodded, “That’s ours too.”
Even though Clara knew Emmett was wealthy, she was still surprised when she saw all of his properties.

“Not me, us.” Emmett squeezed her hand, “We’re a team! I’m planning to add your name to all these properties”
Clara quickly shook her head, “No! I can’t accept this! I didn’t earn all this, how could I take it?”
“If I say you can, then you can! Are you still doubting me?”
Clara firmly said, “Emmett, my life now is already a bit overwhelming, I’m afraid of losing it all any second! If you give me all this wealth, I won’t be able to handle it! Let’s forget about it!”
