Clara nodded, “Yeah… I’m worried that they would be hostile to me, and I might encounter many difficulties!! And it’s not just the female employees in the company, but other women too. I’ve seen all those women who had a thing for you! “You’re overthinking it! Don’t you think I, as your husband, can protect you?” Emmett frowned like a child, which made Clara chuckle..
“What the hell are you doing?”

“Emmett?” He snorted, “I’d be happier if you called ine honey”
“I can’t do that.” Clara packed up her stuff and said, “You have a meeting to attend, and I need to get back to my work. I might have to work late tonight, you go home first, no need to wait for me.”
“I have to work overtime today too.”
Clara glanced at him and said helplessly, I’m fine! After work, I’ll take a taxi straight home! Look at me, I’m not rich, not beautiful, who would bother me?”
“That’s what I’m worried about, I can’t let you take any risks.”
“Well… alright, thanks then.” Clara laughed and walked out of his office.

Alex jumped right into her arms, “Grandma, I think the kindergarten could give me more candies, and I would be happier!”
Sophia laughed, “Dear! Eating too much candy will give you a toothache!”
“I’ll brush my teeth more!”
“I can’t argue with you! I’ll have the butler bring you some more later, but you can’t eat it all.”
Alex nodded quickly and even gave Sophia a peck on the cheek.
On the other hand, Aiden said seriously, “Grandma, are you free today? I want to talk to you about something.”
Sophia was puzzled by his serious attitude, “Hmm? What would you like to talk with me?”
“About mom.”
When Clara was mentioned, Sophia sighed lightly, “Alright, come with me to the study room. Butler, you take the child away first.”
“Yes, ma’am.”
Sophia took Aiden into the study room, and before she could close the door, Aiden started talking.
